Objectives : Acupoints education is important in that it can determine the clinical competency of Korean Medicine Doctors (KMDs). Accordingly, we aimed to develop a practical simulator for acupoints education, acupoints training, acupoints practice, and acupoints evaluation. Methods : Korean Medicine (KM) SMART Table can be divided into hardware, server and components, and is organically linked. We develop KM SMART Table that combines the hardware of a human-sized table with a UHD display capable of multi-touch in two cases and software that can teach acupoints. We make Augmented Reality (AR) contents linked with KM SMART Table contents and develop applications that can use contents using mobile devices. By developing an AR image tracking module to react with KM SMART Table, it enables acupoint learning according to the mobile device platform and human anatomy. Results : The current system is a prototype where some 3D technology has been implemented, but the AR function will be produced later. New learning using 3D and AR will be required during acupoints education and acupoints practice. It will be used a lot in OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) practices for strengthening the competency of KMDs, and it will be of great help not only in KM education as a unique simulator of KM, but also in the practice of acupuncture and chuna for musculoskeletal diseases. Conclusions : The KM SMART Table is a technology that combines 3D and AR to learn acupoints, and to conduct acupoints OSCE practice, and we suggest that it can be usefully used for educational evaluation.

Experimental studies were conducted to make clear the soil moisture environment under the condition of paddy-upland rotational fields by investigating water-table depths and soil moisture contents during growing season of crops in two kinds of soil. The following results were obtained. 1.Although water-table depths fluctuated with the amount of rainfall in the experimental field, it seemed that the variation of vater4able depths in the paddy-upland rotational, field was strongly affected by the condition of locations on paddy fields. 2.It is recognized that the concept of sum of excess water depth(SEWxx) and sum of excess water day(SEDxx) can be used to represent the soil moisture stress index due to the fluctuation of water-table depths. 3.The results of this study clearly indicate that drainage in paddy-upland rotational field to maintain an optimum soil moisture content must be made by introducing the concept of block drainage which needs both subsurface drainage and intercept drainage around a field. 4.Soil moisture contents were affected by both the amount of rainfall and water-table depths, however, the moisture content for top soil showed higher correlation with the amount of rainfall while that for subsoil with water-table depths.

This paper provides a user interface for mutual collaboration table top display technology. The biggest difference is that the existing interface with existing research through a single device to multiple users simultaneously enabled oriented way of face to face. On the other hand, in collaboration important deadline table top display device to device-oriented approach in which the order of one of the devices require users. Collaborative research is actively underway, but to do so focused still many challenges in this situation. This paper provides for collaboration on global trends on a table top display interface for more mutual collaboration with the user interface for about checking out on a table top display, currently being developed by a collaboration among users against a table top display technology.
In this paper, we propose the peer indexing scheme using data dissemination considering content and mobility. The proposed scheme consists of an index table, a buddy table, a routing table to support the cost of data dissemination, the search accuracy and cost. In this proposed scheme, a neighbor peer is recognized through a signal function and the cost of data dissemination is reduced by timestamp message. The transmitted messages are stored in the index structure considering timestamp and weight of interests which improves search accuracy and reduces the cost of search.

Recently, the development of IT technology, utilization of smart devices 3-5-year-old infants Upon smart device penetration rate per household increases has also sharply increased. In this paper, the educational contents for kid are considered and implemented by reflecting this trend. Content that has been produced in this paper are based on learning theory of constructivism, was to be performed naturally learn the content of the table-top display of applying the NUI technology. Also, the content creation that can help you learn infants through experiments crafted tabletop display interface content, it is believed to be the basis for the improvement of usability.
The ascorbic acid contents of 101 food items were analyzed by HPLC to provide database to estimate dietary intakes of ascorbic acid of Korean. Foods with high contents of ascorbic acid were green vegetables, citrus fruits, strawberry, kiwi, and fruit juices. This analysis data of ascorbic acid contents in some food items showed significant deviations compared with other Food Composition Table. Ascorbic acid content in soups were lower than those of raw foods by about 57%. The ascorbic acid contents in blanched or seasoned after blanching vegetables and boiled or steamed meals turned out to be decreased by about 52.3% and 47.5%, respectively, but the degrees were varied with the kind of foods as well as cooking methods. The ascorbic acid intakes from 18 most frequently consumed meals in Korea were determined to be about 1/2 of Food Composition Table according to this analysis data. The results showed the importance of accurate food database in assessing nutrient intake levels of population.

Excessive intake of sodium is known as a risk factor for hypertension, and Korean adults consume sodium 3 times higher than Dietary Reference Intakes (DRIs). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the difference on sodium content between analyzed and estimated by food composition table and food exchange list. Seven days of low salt diet and seven days of high salt diet were prepared, and sodium contents were estimated by food composition table and food exchange list and measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Sodium contents of diet per day estimated by food exchange list significantly differed from analyzed content, but those estimated by food composition table were not. However, when absolute differences from analyzed content were compared by dishes in the low and high salt diet periods, there were significant differences among estimated sodium content by food composition table and food exchange list and analyzed sodium content. The discrepancy between those results was due to that absolute value was used to compare sodium contents of dishes but not to compare sodium contents of days. In addition, main dish, side dish, and soup were significantly different among estimated sodium content by food composition table and food exchange list and analyzed sodium content. Actual sodium contents of Jap-Chae Deop-Bap and Roasted chicken with oyster sauce differed to a great extent from estimated contents by food exchange list and food composition table. In conclusion, actual sodium contents of Korean dishes were significantly different from those estimated by food composition table and food exchange list, and thus these differences in salt content should be considered on planning of low-salt menu for hypertensive patients.
This study is designed to find out the mineral contents in Korean foods. In the previous report Part I, Sodium and Potssium contents in vegetables and fruits commonly used in Korean households were analyzed. In this report Part II, Sodium and Potassium contents in cereals are analyzed. Cereals, as a main dish, are one of the most important energy source for Koreans. The data analyzed are shown in Table 1, Table 2, in this report and these will be used as a fundamental guide in planning Sodium-restricted diets in Korea.
This study attempted to research the local food of various regions at a personal level by discovering how food has developed das part of a region's culture base. Discovery of the characteristic story behind the making of a region's characteristic food as local delicacies can inspire self-esteem in the culture, and enhance the real-life image as appropriate to a region, and thereby be made a part of local tourism and thus contributing to the local economy. For this reason, the native foods of the region of Chungcheongnam-do were researched in terms of the cultural sensibilities that inform the unique history of that region. The study was designed so as to aid in understanding food's characteristic value in Chungcheongnam-do and to give a historical representation of Chungcheongnam-do's image by means of storytelling techniques; thus, the local food's character can be presented alongside a story that appeals to the five senses. For this purpose, Chungcheongnam-do's representative native rice table was cast as the 'Hyunchoong rice meal table' - after the figure of admiral Yi Sun Shin of Asan area region, a representative image of Chungcheongnam-do - and 'Choosa rice meal table', after the figure of 'Choosa' Kim Jeong Hee of Yesan region, of which various literary works form a representative image of Chungcheongnam-do. 'Hyunchoong rice meal table' was composed of a health food centered menu which could supply sufficient nutrition as a food ration in times of war or winter shortage, thus providing an image of nutrition and power as appropriate to these situations. Also, to assess the health effectiveness of each rice table, the functionality of the ingredients were investigated as reported in 'Sik-ryo-chan-yo : a dietary treatment' which was published by Soon-Ui Cheon in the Chosun era and by which the foods of the early Chosun era won recognition as being both healthy profitable.
It is very important to classify a lot of table-form documents into the same type of classes or to extract information filled in the template automatically. For these, it is necessary to accurately analyze table-form structure. This paper proposes an algorithm to extract corner points based on line edge segments and to classify the type of junction from table-form images. The algorithm preprocesses image through binarization, skew correction, deletion of isolated small area of black color because that they are probably generated by noises.. And then, it processes detections of edge block, line edges from a edge block, corner points. The extracted corner points are classified as 9 types of junction based on the combination of horizontal/vertical line edge segments in a block. The proposed method is applied to the several unconstraint document images such as tax form, transaction receipt, ordinary document containing tables, etc. The experimental results show that the performance of point detection is over 99%. Considering that almost corner points make a correspondence pair in the table, the information of type of corner and width of line may be useful to analyse the structure of table-form document.
