We consider two semiparametric regression lines where the density of the error terms are unknown. We give simultaneous estimatros of the differences of intercepts and slopes which turn out to be asymptotically minimax as well as efficient in semiparametric sense.

The purpose of this study was to find out how second, fourth and sixth graders understood the main contents related to spatial sense in the Seventh National Mathematics Curriculum. For this purpose, this study examined students' understanding of the main contents of congruence transformation (slide, flip, turn), mirror symmetry, cubes, congruence and symmetry. An investigation was conducted and the subjects included 483 students. The main results are as follows. First, with regards to congruence transformation, whereas students had high percentages of correct answers on questions concerning slide, they had lower percentages on questions concerning turn. Percentages of correct answers on flip questions had significant differences among the three grades. In addition, most students experienced difficulties in describing the changes of shapes. Second, students understood the fact that the right and the left of an image in a mirror are exchanged, but they had poor overall understanding of mirror symmetry. The more complicated the cubes, the lower percentages of correct answers. Third, students had a good understanding of congruences, but they had difficulties in finding out congruent figures. Lastly, they had a poor understanding of symmetry and, in particular, didn't distinguish a symmetric figure of a line from a symmetric figure of a point.

본 논문에서는 현행 내진설계방법에 따라 설계된 역V형 보통 가새골조 (OCBF)의 비선형 정적 해석을 수행하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 초과강도계수, 연성계수, 반응수정계수 및 변위 증폭계수 등을 산정하였다. 해석결과에 따르면 대부분의 해석모델에서 현행 내진설계 기준에서 제시한 값보다 작은 초과강도계수 및 반응수정계수 값을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 수직 보강 기둥 (zipper column)으로 가새를 보강한 경우 초과강도계수 및 반등수정계수는 보통 가새 구조물에 비하여 상당히 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

PURPOSES: The purpose of asphalt pavement reducing surface temperature by using Pipe cooling system is to make pleasant city life environment. METHODS: We considered building condition to lay the pipes under asphalt pavement and figured out that temperature reducing effect with pipe cooling system. In addition, we guessed rutting through wheel tracking test with a laid the pipes under asphalt mixture and performed fatigue cracking through a flexural fatigue test for performance evaluation of pipe cooling system. RESULTS: When pipe cooling system worked, the temperature of pavement model reduced quickly in test. The system can turn down the degree by 4 or 5 quickly as well. It didn't affect rutting to lay the pipes under the pavement, but it can get damaged to asphalt pavement in early stage by the result of performance evaluation. CONCLUSIONS: We figured out that pipe cooling system can turn down the temperature of aspalt pavement surface through tests. We suggest that pipe cooling system should be considered one of the effective way to solve urban heat island problem.

양방향 좌회전차로(TWLTLs : Two-Way Left-Turn Lanes)는 도로중앙에 양방향의 좌회전 차량이 이용할 수 있는 연속진행형 좌회전 차로가 설치된 불균등차로 시스템의 한 형태로써, 접속밀도가 높고 좌회전 교통수요가 각 회전지 점별로 넓게 분산되어 있을 때 큰 운영 개선효과를 나타낼 수 있는 접근관리기법으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 양방향 좌회전차로의 국내 도입 가능성을 검토하기 위한 초기단계로써, 미시적 교통류 분석 시뮬레이션 모형인 VISSIM을 활용, 가상 네트워크와 실 네트워크에 대한 TWLTL 설치 전 후 모의실험을 수행하여 운영효율 및 안전성을 평가하였으며, 이를 기초로 설치준거를 제시하였다. VISSIM 모의실험 결과, 주도로의 직진 및 좌회전 이동류에 대한 상당수준의 지체감소를 확인하였으며, 교통 안전적으로도 큰 개선효과가 있었던 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 국내에서 최초로 시뮬레이션 분석모형을 활용하여 양방향 좌회전차로의 운영효과 및 안전성 개선효과를 평가하고, 교통량 지체 안전도를 고려한 TWLTL의 설치준거를 제시하였다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있을 것이다.

고력볼트 길이-직경비가 5d 이상인 경우, 시험을 통한 결과를 활용하여 현장에서 볼트 체결을 하도록 권고하고 있을뿐 길이-직경비에 따른 별도의 규정 및 지침은 없다. 국내에서는 고력볼트 체결법으로 너트회전법이 아닌 토크관리법이 적용하고 있고 최근에는 KS B 2819의 '구조물용 토크-전단형 고장력 볼트'(이하, TS 고력볼트)가 주로 사용되고 있기 때문에 길이 인자에 따른 규정이 국외 기준에 비해 미비한 것이 현실이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 TS 고력볼트의 길이인자에 따른 적정 축력 도입을 위한 소요 너트회전각 및 토크를 분석하여 길이변수에 따른 특성을 평가하고자 한다. 실험결과의 분석에서는 통계분석 프로그램 Minitab을 활용하여 길이변수에 대한 유효성을 정량적으로 분석했다.

본 연구는 운전자들의 보호/비보호 좌회전(PPLT: Protected/Permitted and Left-Turn) 신호운영에 대한 만족도에 미치는 영향요인을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 운전자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 도로이용자의 다양한 요인(개인속성, 운전태도, PPLT의 기대심리 등)이 PPLT 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 구조방정식 모형을 구축하였다. 모형구축 결과, 모형의 적합도는 Q값, RMR, GIF, AGIF, NFI 모두 적합도기준(Critical value)에 만족되었으며, PPLT 운영에 대한 만족도는 사회경력과 운전경력이 비교적 길고 교통 관련 분야에 종사하는 남성의 선호도가 상대적으로 높고, 사고 경험이 없는 운전자인의 경우 PPLT 운영에 대한 선호도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, PPLT에 대한 만족도는 PPLT 운영으로 인한 교통안전 및 교통운영 증진, 환경개선 등의 기대가 높아질수록 증가되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, PPLT 운영은 교통사고가 상대적으로 적게 발생되는 도심에 우선 적용하는 것이 바람직하고, PPLT의 도입효과를 높이기 위해서는 PPLT 운영에 대한 긍정적인 기대효과가 함양될 수 있도록 효과에 대한 적극적인 홍보가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

In The Turn of the Screw, the go'erness encounters with the apparitions that harrow her throughout the story: she sees a frightening male ghost that Mrs. Grose identifies as Peter Quint, deceased former 'alet of the children's uncle, who had pre'iously shared the charge of the children with the pre'ious go'erness, Miss Jessel. The appearance of the ghosts hails the go'erness and thereby forces her to be jarred out of the comfortable habits of indi'iduality and plunged into a negati'ity de'oid of the socio-normati'e directi'es and guarantees. Such an encounter shows the idea that consciousness is a plenum of existence e'ocati'e of human mind as a decentered pandemonium. For the go'erness in The Turn of the Screw, the foundation to force her to experience the uncanny, as an inconsistency in the symbolic order, is particular. Its particularity is absolute in the same way e'ery one of us dreams his or her world. It resists mediation and cannot be made part of a symbolic medium. Just as Lacan's conceptions of desire, feminine sexuality, 'Object a,' not-whole, sla'ery, mastery, self-deception, authenticity, and act of psychoanalysis help us understand our contradictory social reality, so does The Turn of the Screw help us make sense of the way the go'erness, as the being who is capable of raising the question of being, questions the idea of being. In conclusion, the particular way the go'erness dreams her world is e'ocati'e of an excessi'e being, an anatomical complement, and a particular experience, such as the go'erness's encounter with the ghosts testifies to a knowledge that escapes the knowledge of the speaking being.

Smart flanges are used for pipeline and riser repair in subsea. In a typical case in the gas export pipeline project, the end cap bolts of a 4inch smart flange were broken during operation, and in turn leakage occurred. This work presents the detail of three dimensional finite element analysis of the smart flange to support the observed end cap bolts failure. From finite element analysis it turns out that in the presence of external bending moment, an uneven contact distribution is present between seal and end cap, which in turn changes the uniform load distribution on bolts and threaten the integrity of bolts. On the other hand, 3D finite element analysis of interaction between pipeline and seabed is presented by means of Abaqus to explore the distribution of bending moment along the pipeline route. It is found that lateral buckling occurs in the pipeline which introduces large bending moment.

The explosive growth of social commerce engenders a new business model, that is, infomediary. In a social commerce environment, infomediary works as a personal agent who provides information about various web merchants to help consumers select appropriate merchants for their needs. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing consumer attitudes towards infomediaries in social commerce and examine the relationship between intention to provide word of mouth and consumer attitudes. In total, 170 responses were collected from social commerce infomediary users. The results show that competence and integrity significantly influence user attitudes as trust dimensions. Infomediary reputation and two functional factors (information variety and navigation functionality) turn out to be significant antecedents for user attitudes toward infomediary in social commerce. User attitudes in turn significantly influence the intention to provide word of mouth. Future research and practical implications are also discussed.
