단일전력단 Two-Switch Forward 컨버터에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Single-Stage Two-Switch Forward Converter)

  • 본 연구에서는 단일전력단 Two-Switch Forward 컨버터에 관하여 논하였다. 최근 국제적으로 제정된 ICE 61000-3-2와 IEEE 519같은 규정에서 입력 전류에 대한 고조파 규제가 강화되면서 전원 공급 장치의 역률개선 회로가 필수적으로 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 저전압 대전류 출력에 적합한 방안으로 단일전력단 Two-Switch Forward 컨버터 회로를 제안하고, 모드별 동작, 특성 및 설계에 관하여 논하였으며, MOSFET를 사용하여 200[W](5[V], 40[A])급 시작품을 제작, 100[kHz]에서 실험하였다.

  • This paper presents the single-stage High Power Factor TSFC(Two-Switch Forward Converter). Recently, due to growing concern about the harmonic pollution of power distribution systems and the adoption of standards such as ICE 61000-3-2 and IEEE 519, There is a need to reduce the harmonic contents of AC line currents of power supplies. This research proposed the single-stage two switch forward circuit for low voltage and high current output. The principle of operation, feature and design considerations are illustrated and verified through the experiment with a 200W(5V, 40A) 200kHz MOSFET based experimental circuit.

Evaluation of Fuel Consumption of B747-400 in Short-range Flight with Catapult Assist

  • Recently, the aviation industry has sought to reduce its carbon usage in aircraft operations. Specifically, the industry is proceeding with the development of ultra-large turbofan engines and the development of hybrid electric engines to reduce the fuel consumption of aircraft. In one case, Airbus is developing as its future goal an aircraft with a short take-off distance that uses a catapult. In this study, when a b747-400 aircraft with two of the four engines removed was tested using a catapult, its fuel consumption was compared with that of the original aircraft. Fuel consumption was calculated using the mass flow consumption formula. Further, the aircraft L/D ratio caused by engine removal was interpreted using the CFD Tool, Ansys Fluent. The results showed that the lift ratio was improved by about 7% and that the fuel efficiency was improved by about 14%.
