Persistent current switch (PCS) system in NMR, MRI, MAGLEV and SMES has many advantages, such as uniformity and durability of magnetic field and reducing a thermal loss, which enable many superconducting application to operate effectively. This paper deals with fabrication and test of heater trigger persistent current switch using coated conductor (CC) which has high n-index, critical current independency from external magnetic field and adaptable selectivity of stabilizer. PCS system consists of magnet power supply for energizing current to a magnet, heater, switch and magnet using coated conductor tape. Finite element method (FEM) is used to simulate thermal quench (switching) characteristic and design heater trigger. With FEM simulation, optimal length of heater is calculated by temperature and time analysis. Fabrication of PCS system and test of heater trigger characteristic were performed and compared with simulation result. This paper would be the foundation of researches of superconducting switching application.
In this paper, we investigated the quenching characteristics of a superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) with connection of $2{\times}3$ matrixes. This SFCL consists of the trigger part to apply magnetic field and the current-limiting part to limit the fault current. When the fault occurs, the magnetic field generated in the reactor connected in parallel was applied to the two superconducting units of the current-limiting part to reduce of inhomogeneous critical current behavior between the superconducting units. The quenching behavior of a superconducting unit in the trigger part was affected by the increase of turn numbers. This is because of the difference of current distribution between the inductance of the reactors and the resistance generated in the superconducting units in trigger part. We confirmed that the voltage differences between two superconducting units of the current-limiting part were decreased. This is because of the improvement of inhomogeneous critical current behavior between the superconducting units according to the increase of external magnetic field.

A Fast handover protocols for Mobile IPv6 networks can support seamless service by reducing handover latency to mobile nodes. To gain advantage derived from the fast handover in IEEE 802.16e networks, we propose a new fast handover protocol using a multiple simultaneous binding mechanism and a handover protocol based on trigger event for IEEE 802.21 in order to integrate IEEE 802.16e handover protocol and FMIPv6 handover protocol using link layer trigger. Through the numerical analysis, we compare performance of the proposed protocol and FMIPv6 protocol.
The aim of our study was to evaluate the immediate effects of an 830-nm Aluminium gallium arsenide (GaAlAs) laser, by examining the changes, in pressure-pain threshold (PPT) and tenderness at 3 kg of the myofascial trigger point (MTrP) of the upper trapezius muscle in visual display terminal (VDT) workers in comparison with placebo treatment. Thirty VDT workers (13 males, 17 females) with complaints of upper trapezius muscle were recruited. All participants were given either active GaAlAs laser (830 nm wavelength, 450 mW, 9 J at point) or placebo GaAlAs laser, according to the double-blinded and placebo-controlled trial. Both active and placebo low-level laser therapy (LLLT) treatments showed no significant effect on PPT and tenderness at 3 kg. These results suggest that a higher dosage may be necessary to produce immediate effects when applying LLLT to the MTrP of relatively large muscles such as the upper trapezius muscle.

Objective : A case of idiopathic spasmodic torticollis rapidly improved after Oriental Medical treatments and supplementary trigger point injection is reported. Methods & Results : The oriental medical treatment for spasmodic torticollis including acupuncture, bee-venum therapy, herb medication, taping therapy, chuna therapy and physical therapy was performed for pain alleviation, and trigger point steroid injections were also performed. The Toronto Western Spasmodic Torticollis Rating Scale (TWSTRS) and the Tsui Score were used for outcome measure of the spasmodic torticollis. After treatment for 15 days, the TWSTRS showed a decrease from 56 to 22.3 and the Tsui score also decreased from 13 to 5. Conclusions : We concluded that the oriental medical treatment including acupuncture, bee-venum therapy and taping therapy rapidly induced spasmodic torticollis to remission.

This paper describes a full-wave rectifiers for energy harvesting circuit using vibration detector. The designed circuit operates only when the vibration is detected through the vibration detector and the active diode. When there is no vibration, the comparator is turned off to prevent leakage of energy stored in the $C_{STO}$. The energy stored in the capacitor is used to drive the level converter and the active diode. The energy stored in the capacitor is supplied to an active diode designed as an output power. The vibration detector is implemented with Schmitt Trigger and Peak Detector with Hysteresis function. The proposed circuit is designed in a CMOS 0.35um technology and its functionality has been verified through extensive simulations. The designed chip occupies $590{\mu}m{\times}583{\mu}m$.
A migraine is a recurrent, throbbing headache generally felt on one side of the head. Migraines usually begin in early childhood, adolescence, or young adult life. Its accurate pathogenesis is still unknown but migraines are caused by a rapid widening and narrowing of blood vessel walls in the brain and head. The classic migraine and the common migraine are the two main types. The onset of classical migraine may be signalled by visual disturbances in what is called the 'aura' stage. Visual aura is most common among the auras of classical migraine. Common migraine (or migraine without aura) and classical migraine may be accompanied by various combinations of symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. Recently we have exprienced 2 cases of migraine patients and whose conditions were improved through trigger point needling and Oriental medical treatment.
In this paper, a new ESD protection circuit is proposed to improve the snapback characteristics. The proposed a new structure ESD protection circuit applying the conventional SCR structural change and stack structure. The electrical characteristics of the structure using penta-well and double trigger were analyzed, and the trigger voltage and holding voltage were improved by applying the stack structure. The electron current and total current flow were analyzed through the TCAD simulation. The characteristics of the latch-up immunity and excellent snapback characteristics were confirmed. The electrical characteristics of the proposed ESD protection circuit were analyzed through HBM modeling after forming a structure through TCAD simulator.

Ingrained in multiple consumption theories, this research covers the seven determinants (Hedonic Consumption, Consumers' mood, Store layout, product promotion, Persons' situation, Materialism, and Product Attributes) of purchase intentions of a consumer. For this study, 384 offline shoppers were surveyed and found that out of seven, six determinants significantly trigger impulse buying behavior of customers of beauty products in a modern market setting while one determinant 'Materialism' did not have any influence on the impulse buying behavior. The relationships of the variables were statistically checked by multiple linear regression. Results of this study show that a consumer's mood has a significant impact on impulse buying as it can trigger the impulse behavior of consumers. Person situations also have a positive impact on impulse buying it means time, money, fear of missing out can active impulse buying. Store layout can also trigger that unplanned purchase which means store lighting, the music of the store, ambiance may affect the purchasing. Product promotion has an impact on spontaneous purchase which indicates that free coupons, discounts, free delivery, offers to attract the customer to sudden purchase. Product design, packaging, color, labeling indicate a positive and significant impact on impulse buying. However, materialism indicates an insignificant impact on impulse buying.
This paper presents design and operational characteristics of 150 MW pulse power system for high current pulse forming network to control trigger time. The system is composed of two capacitor bank modules. Each capacitor bank module consist of a trigger vacuum switch, 9k 33kJ capacitor, an energy dump circuit, a crowbar circuit and a pulse shaping inductor and is connected in parallel. It is controlled by trigger controller to select operational module and determine triggering time. Pspice simulation was conducted about determining parameters of components such as crowbar circuit, capacitor, pulse forming inductor, trigger vacuum switch and predicting results of experiment circuit. The result of the experiment was in good agreement with the result of the simulation. The various current shapes with 300~650 us pulse width is formed by sequential firing time control of capacitor bank module. The maximum current is about 40 kA during simultaneous triggering of two capacitor bank modules. The developed 150 MW pulse power system can be applied to high current pulse power system such as rock fragmentation power sources, Rail gun, Coil gun, nano-powers, high power microwave.
