SUV차량의 Idle 성능 개발 (Idle Vibration Development Procedure of 4WD SUV)

  • NVH issue at idle condition is one of the major concerns of Passenger and Commercial Vehicle including Sports Utility Vehicle Especially steering wheel vibration at idle condition is a very complex problem and affected by firing frequency of the engine, stiffness of a steering wheel system and the body to which the steering wheel system is attached. To avoid vibration mode coupling between each system of a vehicle, experimental and analytical method has been used at the pre-prototype stage. The resonance frequency of the body and the frame has been decoupled by CAE and the resonance frequency of steering wheel system has been set in between the 1st bending frequency of body and frame. These Results has been used as design guidelines tot the prototype drawing stage. The experimental verification of tile modified pre-prototype vehicle shows good results of the vibration mode decouple. Modal test of prototype vehicle also confirms the vibration mode decouple between each system.

로봇 매니퓰레이터를 위한 퍼지 이동슬라이딩 모드 제어 (Fuzzy Moving Sliding Model Control for Robotic Manipulators)

  • Recently, the study of the moving sliding mode in the variable structure control is in progress ac-tively. The conventional time-invariant sliding model control can\`t guarantee the sliding mode in the reaching phase, which is robust against the uncertainty. But with the time-varying method, the controller makes the states track the desired trajectories and keeps the sliding mode. Nevertheless, the piecewise continuous method of the past still has the reaching mode. Thus we propose the continuously moving sliding surface by the fuzzy algorithm. The proposed algorithm is made of the fuzzy rule considering both the error and the error velocity, and may apply to the entire phase plane without sacrificing sliding mode. Especially the proposed scheme can rotate tot he slope-decreasing direction, needless to say rotating to the slope-increasing direction. For showing that the proposed controller guarantees the sliding model and ensures the robustness, we apply the proposed method to the two-link robot manipulator simulation.

  • Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) as one of the microwave hyperthermia is becoming the treatment of choice for small but inoperable tumors of the liver. In this paper, we designed the applicator composed of semi-rigid coaxial cable antenna with a ring slot for RFA. To optimize the maximum output of radiation with omni direction at 2450 ㎒, we simulated the applicator using Electromagnetic simulation program and analyzed the return loss and the electric field E$\_$tot/ at the near-field region between the simulation results and measurement results. As a result, we obtained the return loss of -29.786 dB at 2450 ㎒ when the applicator was placed between two blocks of a pig's liver, and the measurement results agreed with the simulation results well. Therefore, this applicator using semi-rigid coaxial cable antenna with a ring slot can be used very usefully as the applicator for RFA.

  • In this paper, ultrasonic nozzle and driving circuit were manufactured and their electrical properties were investigated. Uitrasonic nozzle was fabricated using PSN-PMN-PZT ceramics showing excellent piezoelectric characteristics. In order to drive ultrasonic nozzle, PWM controller(KA3525A) was used. With increasing input voltage of nozzle, particle diameters of diesel were increased up tot 16V and then decreased. At the input voltage of 12V, volume particle diameter showed the minimum value of $37.3{\mu}m$ and also at the input voltage of 18V, volume particle diameter showed the maximum value of $51.3{\mu}m$.

  • This study reviews several of the procedures that have been used to predict ground-born vibration. The vibration responses are measured at three sites that have different soil qualities. The measured vibration levels are compared with the predicted results by previously used vibration level prediction models. In this study a numerical method, which is based on explicit differential method, is used to compensate tot existing prediction models. Although numerically computed results are not quantitatively in good agreement with the measured results, the trends are comparable in the sense that vibration level does not decrease monotonically with distance. Also, The site with the deepest tunnel gives the highest vibration level.

RFC모델의 한국어 억양 곡선에의 적용 (Application of Rise/Fall/connection(RFC) Model to Korean Intonation)

  • This is a pilot study on applying the Rise/Fall/connection(RFC) model to Korean intonation tot speech synthesis. RFC model contains successive intonation events, which can be pitch accents and intonation boundary tones. The intonation contour of RFC model is composed of piecewise linear curves of rise, fall, and connection elements, and each element can have any amplitude and duration. In this paper, elements of RFC model is slightly modified to accommodate the characteristics of Korean intonation. Subjective preference test was conducted to compare the modified RFC model with the original one. The results show that the intonation contour produced by the modified RFC model is perceptually indistinguishable from that of the original RFC model, while the former requires less number of labels than the latter.

  • Managers, supervisors, executives and others whose office is to get work done by staff in organizations would desire a motivated workforce. Despite the advances in technology, any system has tot have motivated people to achieve its goals and at some time or other, no one in charge of a unit has failed to wonder, 'How best do I get individuals and groups motivated'? What is motivation, how can employees be motivated to direct their energies towards execution of the job and how is this achieved on a sustained on-going basis? Is a highly motivated employee necessarily an ace performer? These are the issues which the author would address in the present paper. The authors has conducted an empirical study by administering motivational test and collected data from 100 corporate of Bhopal region.

Neutron Cross Section Evaluation on Dy Isotopes

  • Neutron cross section data on Dy-160, Dy-161, Dy-162, Dy-163 and Dy-164 were calculated and evaluated in the energy range of 1 keV to 20 MeV using a spherical optical model, statistical model and pre-equilibrium model. The energy dependent optical model potential parameters were obtained based on the recent experimental data. The width fluctuation correction in Hauser-Feshbach particle decay and the quantum mechanical approach in pre-equilibrium analysis were introduced and gave a better cross section calculation in EMPIRE-II. The total, elastic scattering and threshold reaction cross sections were evaluated and compared with the evaluated files. The model calculated (n, tot), (n, ${\gamma}$) and (n, p) cross sections were in good agreement with the experimental data in the measured energy range. The results will be applied to ENDF/B-VI for data improvement.

포항·광주 로란-C 시간동기시스템 구축 결과

  • GPS 항법 시스템은 재밍(jamming)에 취약한 것으로 알려져 있다. 실제로 2010년부터 북한은 서해상과 수도권에 GPS 전파교란 공격을 감행, 운행 중이던 선박과 항공기의 네비게이션 등에 다수의 장애현상을 유발시켰다. 이것에 대한 대안으로 eLoran(enhanced Long Range Navigation)이 GPS 항법 시스템을 보완할 수 있다고 알려져 있다. 이에 따라 해양수산부(MOF)는 기존 포항·광주 로란-C 송신국에 UTC(Coordinated Universal Time) 기반의 시각동기시스템 구축하여 지상파 eLoran 시스템으로 활용하기 위한 eLoran 사업을 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 포항·광주 로란-C 송신국에 UTC(Coordinated Universal Time) 기반의 시각동기시스템을 구축하기 위한 요구 사항을 살펴보고, 이 요구 사항에 따른 포항·광주 로란-C 시각동기시스템의 구축 결과에 대해 기술하였다.

Auto-PEEP이 존재하는 환자에서 호흡 일에 대한 External PEEP의 효과 (The Effect of External PEEP on Work of Breathing in Patients with Auto-PEEP)

  • 연구배경: Auto-PEEP 혹은 intrinsic PEEP은 호기말에 폐용적이 전체 호흡기계의 이완 용적으로 돌아오지 않음으로써, 증가된 호흡기계의 탄성반도압만큼 호기말 폐포내압(alveolar pressure) 이양의 값을 보이는 것을 말한다. Auto-PEEP 이 존재하는 만성폐쇄성폐질환 환자에게 externa1 PEEP을 적용하면 환자의 호흡 일을 줄일 수 있어서, 질환의 급성악화시 혹은 기계호흡으로부터의 이탈시 환자의 자발호흡을 보조하기 위한 요법으로 제시되고 있다. 이에 기계호흡중인 환자에서 auto-PEEP의 존재가 호흡 일에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, externa1 PEEP의 사용이 auto- PEEP에 의해 증가된 호흡 일을 줄이는지를 알아보기 위해 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법: 호흡부전으로 기계호흡을 하고 있는 환자 15명을 대상으로 연구가 이루어 졌으며, 이들 7명에서 auto-PEEP이 관찰되었고(auto-PPEP군) 8명에서 auto-PEEP이 auto-PEEP군). 양군 간의 환자의 호흡역학적 지표의 차이를 조사하였으며, auto-PEEP이 존재하는 환자들에 대해 3cm $H_2O$의 external PEEP을 적용한 뒤 호흡역학적 지표들의 변화를 조사하였다. 호흡역학적 지표는 상시호흡량(tidal volume, 이하 $V_T$), 분당 호흡수, 분당환기량 (minute ventilation 이하 $V_E$), 최고흡기유량(peak inspiratory flow rate, 이하 PIFR), 최고호기유행peak expiratory flow rate, 이하 PEFR), 최고흡기압(peak inspiratory pressure, 이하 PIP), $T_I/T_{TOT}$, auto-PEEP, 폐 동적탄성 (dynamic compliance of lung, 이하 Cdyn), 호기 기도저항(expiratory airway resistance, 이하 RAWe), 평균 기도저항(mean airway resistance, 이하 RAWm), $P_{0.1}$, 환자에 의해 수행되는 호흡 일 (work of breathing performed by patient, 이하 호흡 일), pressure-time product(이하 PTP)등이었다.
