Galois polynomials are defined as a generalization of the cyclotomic polynomials. The definition of Galois polynomials (and cyclotomic polynomials) is based on the multiplicative group of integers modulo n, i.e. ${\mathbb{Z}}_n^*$. In this paper, we define Galois polynomials which are based on the quotient group ${\mathbb{Z}}_n^*/H$.

This paper proposes a simple method to measure system's performance in target tracking problems. Essentially employing the Cramer-Rao Lower Bound (CRLB) on tracking accuracy, an algorithm of predicting system's performance under various scenarios is developed. The input data is a collection of measurements over tim from sensors embedded in Gaussian noise. The target of interest may not maneuver over the processing time interval while the own ship observing platform may maneuver in an arbitrary fashion. The proposed approach is demonstrated and discussed through simulation results.

This paper is to refine the concept of utilizing natural energy, and to introduce new technologies of building energy control. For the global environment protection, it is essential to turn attention to latent capacity of natural renewable energy. Especially the concept of 'Environmental Architecture' is very important from this viewpoint. This paper reviews many of new technologies for environmental architecture developed recently : TIM, high effective solar radiation control strategy of glazing, new passive cooling and heating system etc. The design application of the technology has been introduced.

Advances in information technology (IT) are becoming one of the most significant driving forces changing the structure of global financial management. This phenomenon is occurring in all industries; the hotel industry is no exception and must quickly adapt to this new trend. This study examines the technology intensity of the industry by assessing the degree to which the industry has allocated capital to IT projects, and discusses IT investment in the hospitality industry with a particular emphasis on assessing the value of IT investment and its investment strategy.

Perspective dynamical systems arise in machine vision, in which only perspective observation is available, and the essential problem is to estimate the state and /or unknown parameters for a moving rigid body based on the observed information. This paper proposes and studies a Luenberger-type observer for perspective tim e-varying linear systems. In particular, assuming a given perspective time-varying linear system to be Lyapunov stable and to satisfy some sort of observability condition, it is shown that the estimation error converges exponentially to zero. Finally, a simple numerical exam pie is presented to illustrate the result obtained.
