Navy establishes the Naval Task Forces (TF) for many kinds of maritime operations. Then the TF in the maritime environment performs simultaneous component operations such as ASUW (Anti-Surface Warfare), ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare), AAW (Anti-Aircraft Warfare), and assault operations. The TF consists of many tactical systems for the completion of missions C4I, VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), DMHS (Digital Massage Handling System), and TDLs (Tactical Data Links) such as LINK-11, 16, ISDL (Inter Site Data Link). When the TF executes naval operations to complete a mission, we are interested in the kill chain for the maritime operations in the TF. The kill chain is a standard procedure for the naval operations to crush enemy defenses. Although each ship has a procedure about a manual for 'how to fight', it leave something to be desired for the TF detailed kill chain currently. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the naval TF's kill chain to perform the naval operations. Then, the operational effectiveness of the TF in the kill chain environment is determined through operation scenarios of TDL system implementation. It is to see the operational information sharing effect to a data link model based on MND-AF OV 6c (statement of tracking operational status) in the maritime operations applied to TDL and is to identify improvements in information dissemination process. We made the kill chain of maritime TF for the effective naval operations.

Link-16 is a representative TDL operated by US air force and NATO and supports structure of Multi-net. Under Multi-net, military operation can be conducted effectively since terminal nodes in Link-16 hop over total frequency band simultaneously. As air traffic is rapidly increasing, new aeronautical system is introduced or existing system should be expanded to accommodate increasing air traffic and frequency band assigned for operating this system is scarce. It is scheduled to implement frequency remapping to solve frequency scarcity. With limited frequency band for operating Link-16, as frequency remapping is implemented, degradation of Multi-net performance can happen since multiple access interference in Link-16 is increasing so it is difficult to conduct multiple military operations. Thus, Group-based frequency hopping scheme is proposed to solve this problem. We verified the performance of the proposed scheme is improved.

In a conventional adaptive echo canceller, an ADF(Adaptive Digital Filter) with TDL(Tapped-Delay Line) structure modelling the echo path uses the LMS(Least Mean Square) algorithm to compute the coefficients, and NET detector using energy comparison method prevents the ADF to update the coefficients during the periods of the NET signal presence. The convergence speed of the LMS algorithm depends on the eigenvalue spread ratio of the reference signal and NET detector using the energy comparison method yields poor detection performance if the magnitude of the NET signal is small. This paper presents a new adaptive echo canceller which uses the pre-whitening filter to improve the convergence speed of the LMS algorithm. The pre-whitening filter is realized by using a low-order lattice predictor. Also, a new NET signal detection algorithm is presented, where the start point of the NET signal is detected by computing the cross-correlation coefficient between the primary input and the ADF output while the end point is detected by using the energy comparison method. The simulation results show that the convergence speed of the proposed adaptive echo canceller is faster than that of the conventional echo canceller and the cross-correlation coefficient yields more accurate detection of the start point of the NET signal.

The purpose of this paper is to develop a new adaptive echo canceller improving convergence speed and near-end-talker detection performance of the conventional echo canceller. In a conventional adaptive echo canceller, an adaptive digital filter with TDL(Tapped-Delay Line) structure modelling the echo path uses the LMS(Least Mean Square) algorithm to cote the coefficients, and NET detector using energy comparison method prevents the adaptive digital filter to update the coefficients during the periods of the NET signal presence. Also, a new NET signal detection algorithm is presented, where the start point of the NET signal is detected by computing the cross-correlation coefficient between the primary input and the ADF(Adaptive Digital Filter) output while the end point is detected by using the energy comparison method. The simulation results show that the convergence speed of the proposed adaptive echo canceller is faster than that of the conventional echo canceller and the cross-correlation coefficient yield more accurate detection of the start point of the NET signal.
In this paper, we Investigate the $Q^2PSK$ modulation and demodulation system and analyze the BER performance of the receiver system under 2-way Rayleigh fading and Gaussian noisy channel environment. The TDL equalizer with the adaptive LMS algorithm is used to improve the receiver performance since the received signal is distorted through that channel and the recovered carrier from the noncoherent demodulation has much phase deviation error. From the results of computer simulation, It is shown that at 12dB SNR, the reception performance is improved by $83.7\%$ in the fading case, $89.3\%$ in the carrier phase error case and $60.4\%$ in the case of the fading and carrier phase error.

These days many systems use the gps signal to get their own position. Because it's cheap and accurate and convenient. But, the strength of gps signal is very weak and can be easily interrupted by GPS jamming and GPS spoofing. Normally, fighter can use DME, TACAN, etc to correct their position error when GPS is not working. But, many aircraft which does not have those kinds of hardware need to pay additional cost to get it. In this paper, we propose how to overcome GPS jamming and GPS spoofing by only using data link system. The main purpose of this paper is to make the data link protocol to get an exact position information of own unit at gps error environment.

Modem warfares have changed from PCW (platform Centric Warfare) to NCW (Network Centric Warfare). Therefore, it is more important to operate and manage the network. This paper proposed a node management scheme in military wireless networks. In military wireless networks, nodes can join and leave the networks easily. It causes a degradation of network capacity. This paper figured out a problem caused by node which is leaving the network. This paper proposed a RSSI based method of estimating and detecting the leaving nodes in the networks. Finally, an experimental result was demonstrated to show the efficiency of the proposed method.

In this paper, the error rate performance of DS/SSMA system in multipath fading channel is calculated by computer simulation. At first, the multipath fading channel is modeled with TDL(Tap Delay Line) model. The characteristics of channels, including multipath fading effects and error pattern, are examined by doppler frequency and signal bandwidth, and time spread variation. Using the multipath fading channel model, the error rateperformance of block code and convolutional code is compared, thus the coding sys- tem is applied to the DS / SSMA system. The BER results of DS / SSMA system show that the proposed receiver gives about 2~3[dB] improve- ment compared with the conventional receiver.
This article studies certain standards which have been developed for exchanging information about business and trading transactions, both nationally and internationally. In this context standards means standardised ways of representing trade information and standardised procedures for communicating it in computer-based environments. Early in the 1960s, the United Nations UN/ECE working party was formed. The purpose of the this organization was to simplify and standardize trade document. This organization eventually evolved into what is currently known as EDIFACT, the international EDI standards organization. EDIFACT is the basis for agreement on a common structure for documents such as those used for trading(e.g., orders, invoices), so that they can be interchanged electronically between computer systems. The standard was ratified in 1987 and has already been adopted by many EDI users for the earlier European and American standards for trading data interchange called UN/TDl and ANSI Xl2 respectively.

In modern warfare, the main factor of triumph is superior situation awareness which leads rapid command decision and precisely guided munition, and TDL(Tactical Data Link) is the main communicational enabler. ROK forces currently operate Link-16 with allied forces and are also developing Korean national data link, Link-K which is also planned to be cooperated with Link-16. Assigning participant and track numbers needs agreement between ROK and allied forces, but ROK forces have exclusive authority in assigning numbers in Link-K. This paper proposes the effective method of exchange participant and track numbers between Link-16 and Link-K, and applicability verification in operational test and evaluation will be also presented.
