Aerodynamic Design of the KARI Mid-sized Aerostat

  • Aerodynamic shape design of the Mid-sized Aerostat was performed with computational fluid dynamics. Design procedure included determination of hull volume and length, hull shape, tailfin configuration with anhedral and location, tailfin section. For aerodynamic analysis, three dimensional Navier-Stokes equations were applied with Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model. During design procedure, static moment derivatives were mainly considered for the stability of aerostat and structural limitations were also considered for practical application of the designed shape. Aerodynamic analysis of the designed aerostat was carried out and aerodynamic characteristics were compared with those of the TCOM 71m aerostat, one of the most successful commercial aerostats. It was found that the designed KARI Mid-sized Aerostat had better stability characteristics compared to the TCOM 71m aerostat.

Modeling temporal cadastre for land information management

  • Time is regarded as an essential feature of land information enabling to track historical landmarks of land uses, ownerships, and taxations based on cadastral maps. Object-oriented temporal modeling helps to simulate and imitate time-varying cadastral data in a chronological and persistent manner. The aim of study is to analyze the role of temporal cadastre tracing footprints of foregoing events in response to various needs and demands associated with historical information of cadastral transactions. In this paper, temporal cadastral object model (TCOM) is proposed to delineate object version history. As an evidence of a new approach and conceptual idea for the importance of temporal cadastre, a part of spatio-temporal processes is illustrated to explain major changes of cadastral map. The feasibility and application of the approach is confirmed by proof-of-concept of temporal cadastre in land information management.

냉매 내 공기혼입에 따른 에어컨 시스템의 냉각성능 저하 (Cooling Performance Deficiency of Air Conditioning System According to Air Quantity Included in Refrigerant)

  • This study was performed to present the diagnosis basis of cooling performance deficiency according to air quantity included in refrigerant of air-conditioner by detecting the temperatures and pressures of refrigerant pipeline. The car air-conditioner of SONATA III (Hyundai motor Co., Korea) was tested by maximum cooling condition at 1500 rpm of engine speed in the room with controlled air condition at $33\sim35^{\circ}C$ and 55~57% RH. Measured variables were temperature differences between inlet and outlet pipe surface of the compressor (Tcom), condenser (Tcon), receive dryer (Trec) and evaporator (Teva), and high pressure (HP) and low pressure (LP) in the refrigerant pipeline, and temperature difference (Tcoo) between inlet and outlet air of the cooling vent of evaporator. Control variables were the refrigerant charging weight and the vacuum degree in the refrigerant pipeline before charging refrigerant. From the test, it was represented that the measuring values of (Tcom), LP and (Tcoo) were enabled to make the diagnosis of cooling performance deficiency according to quantity included in refrigerant of air-conditioner. The ranges of Tcom, LP and Tcoo to make the diagnosis of cooling performance deficiency were respectively less than $55^{\circ}C$, more than 166.7 kPa-g(1.7 kgf/$cm^2$) and less than $13.7^{\circ}C$. In the case of using only external sensors and the condition under the normal performances of air conditioner, it was considered that the ranges of LP and Tcoo to make the diagnosis of cooling performance deficiency were respectively more than 166.7 Pa and less than $12^{\circ}C$.

능동 네트워크에서의 동적 라우팅 프로토콜 (Dynamic Routing Protocol in the Active Network)

  • 기존 능동 네트워크 기술 분야에서 능동 네트워크 라우팅은 정석인 토폴로지 구성을 가정하고 있다. 그렇지만 IP 라우팅 영역에서와 같이 능동 네트워크 영역에서도 능동 패킷의 네트러크 상태에 따른 동적인 라우팅이 이루어져야 한다. 현재까지 SLRP와 TCOM500 PLA 프로젝트와 같은 프로토콜들이 제시되어 있지만, 두 프로토콜 모두 정적으로 구성되어 있는 토폴로지를 기반으로 하기 때문에 완전하게 동적인 프로토콜은 아니다. 본 논문에서는 좀더 동적이고 기존 프로토콜과의 호환성을 갖춘 능동 네트워크 라우팅 프로토콜로서 AOSPF를 제안한다. AOSPF는 능동 네트워크 라우팅을 위해 새로운 LSA를 추가함으로서 OSPF를 확장한 것이다. 새로운 LSA는 해당 라우터가 능동 라우터임을 명시하며, 이를 위해 LSA 패킷내의 OPTION 필드를 가운데 사용되고 있지 않은 비트 가운데 하나를 능등 라우터 명시 비트로 사용한다. 이러한 개념은 멀티캐스트를 위해 OSPF를 확장한 것으로부터 가져왔다. 본 논문에서는 AOSPF의 동작 과정과 AOSPF를 통해 구성된 능동 네트워클 토폴로지 정보를 기반으로 하는 능동 패킷의 전단 방법에 대해 기술한다.

능동 라우터를 가진 IP 네트워크를 위한 OSPF 프로토콜의 확장 및 능동 패킷 전달 방식 (OSPF Protocol Extension and Active Packet Delivery Scheme for IP Networks with Active Routers)

  • 기존 능동 네트워크 기술에서의 능동 네트워크 라우팅은 정적인 토폴로지 구성을 가정하고 있다. 그러나 능동 네트워크도 기존 IP 네트워크와 마찬가지로 동적이기 때문에 네트워크의 상태에 따라 능동 패킷을 동적으로 라우팅해야 할 필요가 있다. 이와 관련해서 현재까지 PLAN 프로젝트에서 SLRP와 TCOM500 프로토콜들을 제시했으나, 두 프로토콜 모두 정적으로 구성되어 있는 토폴로지를 기반으로 하기 때문에 완전한 의미에서의 동적 라우팅 프로토콜이라고 볼 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 좀 더 동적이고 기존 프로토콜과의 호환성을 갖춘 능동 네트워크 라우팅 프로토콜인 AOSPF(Active Open Shortest Path First)를 제안한다. AOSPF는 능동 네트워크 라우팅을 위해 새로운 LSA(Link State Advertisement)를 추가함으로써 OSPF를 확장한 것으로 새로 정의된 LSA는 해당 라우터가 능동 라우터임을 명시하며 이를 위해 LSA 패킷내에 OPT10N 필드에서 사용되지 않는 비트중 하나를 능동 라우터 명시 비트로 사용한다. 이러한 OSPF의 확장 방법은 멀티캐스트를 위해 OSPF를 확장한 MOSPF와 유사하다. 본 논문에서는 AOSPF의 동작 과정과 AOSPF를 통해 구성된 능동 네트워크 토폴로지 정보를 기반으로 하는 능동 패킷의 전달 방법에 대해 기술한다.

The Relationship Between Corporate Innovation and Corporate Governance: Empirical Evidence from Indonesia

  • The current study is at the forefront of examining the theory of principal-agent framework and financing constraints to explain the level of corporate innovation. To boost the firm's level of innovation, this study uses corporate governance and corporate performance as driving factors. The study's secondary goal is to give information on the parallel relationship between corporate governance and the level of corporate innovation. This study used a two-step least square (TSLS) regression analysis to examine such a simultaneous association using secondary data from Indonesian listed businesses from 2000 to 2021, which totaled around 1,910 observations. This study uses the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) tool to test cumulative variances of potential corporate governance indicators such as the total commissioner of the firm (TCOM), total independent commissioner of the firm (INDPCOM), the proportion of institutional ownership (INSOWN), total female commissioner (FEMCOM), CEO duality (CEODUAL), and type of the firm (SOE). As a result, PCA reveals that four of these variables, omitting CEODUAL and SOE, were a corporate governance construct. Furthermore, the study discovered that the amount of firm innovation and corporate governance are related.
