Enhanced Electrochemical Properties of Dye-sensitized Solar Cells Using Flexible Stainless Steel Mesh Electrodes with Ti Protective Layer (Ti 보호층이 형성된 스테인레스 스틸 메쉬 전극을 이용한 염료감응형 태양전지의 전기 화학적 특성 개선)

  • Stainless steel (SS) mesh was used to fabricate photoelectrode for flexible dye-seisitzed solar cells (DSSCs) in order to evaluate them as replacements for more expensive transparent conductive oxide(TCO). We fabricated the DSSCs with new type of photoelectrode, which consisted of flexible SS mesh coated with 100 nm thickness titanium (Ti) protective layer deposited using electron-beam deposition system. SS mesh DSSCs with protective layer showed higher efficiency than those without a protective layer. The best cell property in the present study showed the open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.608 V, short-circuit current density (Jsc) of $5.73mA\;cm^{-2}$, fill factor (FF) of 65.13%, and efficiency (${\eta}$) of 2.44%. Compared with SS mesh based on DSSCs (1.66%), solar conversion of SS mesh based on DSSCs with protective layer improved about 47%.

  • Nickel oxide is a nonstoichiometric transparent conductive oxide with p-type conductivity, a wide-band energy gap of 3.4~4.0 eV, and excellent chemical stability, making it a very important candidate as a material for bipolar devices. P-type conductivity in Transparent Conductive Oxides (TCO) is controlled by the oxygen vacancy concentration. During the TCO film deposition process, additional oxygen diffusing into the NiO structure causes the formation of Ni 3p ions and Ni vacancies. This eventually affects the hole concentration of the p-type oxide thin film. In this work, the surface morphology and the electrical characteristics were confirmed in accordance with the annealing atmosphere of the nickel oxide thin film.

  • This study is for getting basic data through grasping the obtained heat by structure of each unit and the effects of environment improvement based on judgement for whether or not a solar heating system of renewable energy installations is possible to set up in village hall public buildings as community center and senior citizen center. Conducting a survey of community center and senior citizen center in Ibam-Myon, Yeongyang-Gun, Gyeongsangbuk-Do and the analysis, obtained solar heat of 414,309,678 kcal every year and from this, effects of 131.48995 $TCO_2$. These figure equate to 26,298 pines effect. These results show that the advantage of reducing building operating costs in the long run besides effects of environment improvement.

Evaluation of International Quality Control Procedures for Detecting Outliers in Water Temperature Time-series at Ieodo Ocean Research Station (이어도 해양과학기지 수온 시계열 자료의 이상값 검출을 위한 국제 품질검사의 성능 평가)

  • Quality control (QC) to process observed time series has become more critical as the types and amount of observed data have increased along with the development of ocean observing sensors and communication technology. International ocean observing institutions have developed and operated automatic QC procedures for these observed time series. In this study, the performance of automated QC procedures proposed by U.S. IOOS (Integrated Ocean Observing System), NDBC (National Data Buy Center), and OOI (Ocean Observatory Initiative) were evaluated for observed time-series particularly from the Yellow and East China Seas by taking advantage of a confusion matrix. We focused on detecting additive outliers (AO) and temporary change outliers (TCO) based on ocean temperature observation from the Ieodo Ocean Research Station (I-ORS) in 2013. Our results present that the IOOS variability check procedure tends to classify normal data as AO or TCO. The NDBC variability check tracks outliers well but also tends to classify a lot of normal data as abnormal, particularly in the case of rapidly fluctuating time-series. The OOI procedure seems to detect the AO and TCO most effectively and the rate of classifying normal data as abnormal is also the lowest among the international checks. However, all three checks need additional scrutiny because they often fail to classify outliers when intermittent observations are performed or as a result of systematic errors, as well as tending to classify normal data as outliers in the case where there is abrupt change in the observed data due to a sensor being located within a sharp boundary between two water masses, which is a common feature in shallow water observations. Therefore, this study underlines the necessity of developing a new QC algorithm for time-series occurring in a shallow sea.

  • 본 연구에서는 RF Magnetron Sputtering System을 이용하여 ZnO계 투명전도막 증착시 Vaporization된 MeOH를 유입함으로써 박막증착과 동시에 표면의 Roughness를 제어하여 이에따른 전기적 특성 및 광학적 특성의 개선에 대하여 연구하였다. 실험방법으로 기존의 RF Magnetron Sputtering System에 Vaporization이 가능한 Ultrasonic을 이용하여 MeOH를 Vaporized시켜 MFC Controll을 통해 챔버에 유입하여 ZnO계 투명전도막의 박막증착과 동시에 표면 Texturing을 하였다. ZnO계 투명전도막의 박막증착시 Vaporized MeOH의 유입에 따른 광학적 특성변화를 UV-visible-nIR spectrometry로 조사하였으며, 전기적 특성 변화를 4-Point-Probe로 조사하였으며, 표면적 특성 변화를 Atomic Force Microscope(AFM), Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)를 조사하였으며, 박막의 결정성장특성 변화를 X-ray Diffraction(XRD)으로 조사하였으며, Vaporized MeOH 유입에 따른 박막의 성분분석을 Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS)로 조사함으로써 최적의 조건 및 공정을 확립하였다.

  • Recently, researches on IT Service Management (ITSM) for improving information system operation service and information system outsourcing cost estimation model are proliferating. This study suggests a new cost model of IT operation service and optimizing method based upon the characteristics of operation service as a long-term and continuous business service for both user's and service provider's point of view. This study explains the cost optimization model of IT operation service by improving service request management process, such as adequate reception and control, proper valuation, process management using project management methodology, effective organization and time management of service personnel. Especially in this study, service ability improvement effect and fixed operation cost reduction effect are defined to prove the proposed new cost model.

  • Zinc oxide is a direct band gap wurtzite-type semiconductor with band gap energy of 3.37eV at room temperature. the n-type doped ZnO oxides, B doped ZnO (BZO) is widely studied in TCOs materials as it shows good electrical, optical, and luminescent properties. we focused on the fabrication of B doped ZnO films with glass substrate using the LSMCD at low temperature. And Novel boron-doped ZnO thin films were deposited and characterized from the structural, optical, electrical point of view. The structure, morphology, and optical properties of the films were studied as a function of by employing the XRD, SEM, Hall system and micro Raman system.

  • In this study, AZO(ZnO:Al) thin film were prepared by FTS(Facing Target Sputtering) system. The electrical, optical properties and crystalline of AZO thin film with thickness have been investigated. The thickness, transmittance, crystalline and electrical properties of AZO thin film were measured by a-step, UV-VIS spectrometer, hall effect measurement system, XRD and four-point probe, respectively. As a result, AZO thin film deposited with the transmittance over 80% and the resistivity about $10^{-4}\;\Omega-cm$.

투명 면상 발열체 응용을 위한 하이브리드 스퍼터 GZO/Ag/GZO 박막의 물성평가

  • 최근 학계나 산업계에서 투명 전자 소자에 대하여 활발한 연구가 진행되면서, 투명 전 도성 산화물(TCO: transparent conductive oxide)에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 대표적인 TCO 물질인 Indium Tin Oxide (ITO)는 가시 광 영역에서의 높은 투과 및 높은 도전성을 가져 전압을 인가하면 발열이 가능하므로 이를 투명 면상 발열체에 적용시키는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만, ITO는 발열 테스트 결과 온도가 상승함에 따라 발열이 일부분에 집중되는 현상이 있으며, 전도성을 높이기 위하여 추가공정이 필요하다. 또한, 글라스의 곡면 부분에서 ITO를 사용하면 유연성이 부족하므로 크랙이 발생한다는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 최근 Silver nanowire (AgNW), Single-walled Carbon nanotube (SWCNT), ITO를 기반으로 한 AgNW에 ITO를 증착 하거나 SWCNT를 코팅하여 우수한 전기적, 광학적 특성을 지닌 하이브리드 전극이 투명 면상 발열체 재료로서 사용되고 있다. 하지만 대체된 재료들도 다양한 문제점을 가지고 있다. 예를 들어 고온에서 발열을 유지하지 못하고 끊어지거나 가시광영역의 투과율이 낮은 점 등이 있다. 이런 다양한 문제점들을 보완 할 수 있는 새로운 투명 면상 발열체에 적용한 연구가 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 GZO/Ag/GZO 하이브리드 구조의 투명 면상 발열체를 제작하여 전기적, 광학적 특성을 비교하고 발열량, 온도 균일 성, 발열 유지 안정도를 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 $50{\times}50mm$ 크기의 Non-alkali glass (삼성코닝 E2000) 기판 상에 DC마그네트론 스퍼터링 공정을 이용하여 상온에서 GZO, Ag, GZO 박막을 연속적으로 증착 하여 다층구조의 하이브리드형 투명 면상 발열체를 제조하였다. 박막 증착 파워는 DC (Ag) power 50 W, RF (GZO) power 200 W로 하였으며 GZO박막두께는 45 nm로 고정 시키고 Ag박막 두께는 5~20 nm로 변화를 주었다. 증착원은 3인치 GZO 세라믹 타깃 (2.27 wt. % Ga2O3) 과 Ag 금속 타깃 (순도 99.99%)을 사용하였으며, Ar을 40 sccm 주입 후 Working pressure는 고 순도 Ar을 사용하여 1.0 Pa로 고정하며 10분간 Pre-sputtering을하고 증착을 진행하였다. 앞선 실험을 통해 증착한 박막의 전기적, 광학적 특성은 각각 Hall-effect measurements system (ECOPIA, HMS3000), UV-Vis spectrophotometer (UV-1800, Shimadzu)를 사용해 측정 되었으며, 하이브리드 표면의 구조 및 형상은 FESEM으로 관찰하였다. 또한 표면온도 측정기infrared camera (IR camera)를 이용하여 4~12 V/cm의 전압을 인가 시 시간에 따른 투명 면상 발열체의 표면 온도변화를 관찰하였다.

On the Application for Minimum Server Cores in Public Sector (공공부문 도입서버의 최소코어수 적용에 관한 고찰)

  • Today, information resource management is key task in the data-centre as like as NCIA(National computing integration Agency of Korea). In IRM, the server's performance is one of the core elements, it must be importantly managed during whole of system life cycle. As first step of such management is in purchase phase, it is very important that the optimum specification is determined. The server's specification contains such as performance of core, criteria for performance verification, minimum cores, etc. There is constant controversy concerning the minimum cores. In this article, we present criteria for determination of the minimum cores that considered three aspects: (1) Costly aspect as TCO(Total Cost of Ownership, (2) Environmental aspect as Green IT (3) Technical aspect as RAS(Reliability, Availability, Serviceability) functionality. Finally, we propose scheme to ideally determinate the minimum cores.
