This study aims to examine the factors that affect the intention of merchants to adopt mobile payments in Saudi Arabia. The underlying model used in the study is the technology acceptance model, which includes two factors: perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. The effects of trust, cost, and compatibility are also examined because these are among the common factors used based on the literature. An online questionnaire was completed by 242 merchants in Saudi Arabia who had already adopted mobile payment services. A significant relationship was identified between perceived usefulness and compatibility in terms of merchants' intention to adopt mobile payment systems, while an insignificant relationship was identified with perceived ease of use, trust, and cost.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of users' perceived value of food delivery Apps and information quality on acceptance and intention to reuse of food delivery Apps. Design/methodology/approach This study made a design of the research model by integrating the factors of perceived value and information quality with the acceptance and continued usage of delivery Apps on the basis of the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). Findings The results of this study suggests that perceived emotional value and monetary value, accuracy and timeliness of information have significant positive effects on usefulness and easiness of food delivery Apps. Meanwhile, both usefulness and easiness of food delivery Apps have significant positive influences on users' continually use intention. Furthermore, implications in terms of the findings of this study are discussed.
Wearable computers can be defined as next generation clothing integrated with various digital functions and devices. Unlike existing computers, they are viewed as human-centric computers customized for information utilization and other specific human needs. This study is intended to discover how consumers are accepting wearable computers, which are different from existing computers, based on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) and to extend the model by adding variable regarding acceptance of wearable computers. A total of 683 copies of questionnaires, distributed to those aged 19 and older, both male and female, were collected online. The data was statistically analyzed for this study using the extended TAM. In order to test hypotheses, the structural equation model using the Lisrel 8.30 version was performed. For analyzing constructs(or traits) of research model, exploratory factor was conducted and the measurement model was assessed from the result. Reliability was assessed through confirmatory factor analysis and the calculation of Cronbach's alpha coefficients. Overall, model fit was assessed by statistical indexes: Chi-square value, GFI, AGFI, and RMR. This study analyzed the process of acceptance of wearable computers with the extended TAM that includes a variable, perceived value, on the basis of previous studies. The results of the analysis revealed that attitude toward wearable computer was directly influenced by perceived usefulness and perceived value but indirectly influenced by perceived ease of use. Acceptance intention of the wearable computer was directly influenced by perceived value and attitude toward wearable computer. To be more specific, perceived usefulness was significantly correlated with both attitude toward wearable computer and acceptance intention of the wearable computer. Perceived value was also significantly correlated with both attitude toward wearable computer and acceptance intention of the wearable computer. The results of this study also suggested that perceived ease of use was actually a causal antecedent to perceived usefulness and perceived value. This research revealed that extended TAM to investigate the acceptance of wearable computer was appropriate. This study is intended to provide a theoretical framework for adoption of wearable computer and suggest empirical analysis that can serve as a guide for wearable computer.

This paper shows the result of a survey about the users using Didi Chuxing in China to analyze the effect of the service quality and technology acceptance model (TAM) on customer satisfaction. There are 314 valid responsiveness out of the 414 for 9 days, which had been analyzed with SPSS and AMOS. In the analysis result, the academic implications are as follows. First, it was analyzed that the quality of service had a positive(+) effect on the technology acceptance model. Second, it was analyzed that the technology acceptance model had a positive effect on the attitude and customer satisfaction. Third, in the analysis result of the moderate effect, attitude and customer satisfaction vary partially according to whether types of reliability. The practical implications are as follows: First, it is necessary to provide service quality factors to customers. Second, It is necessary to suggest ways that customers can gain reliability. These findings also have limitations and research directions. First, the variety of samples is needed. Second, an analysis is required according to the type of vehicle use. Therefore, future research and analysis will need to be subdivided.
In this paper, we identified factors that affect the usage of UCC, which is becoming increasingly popular in our society and throughout the globe. Four hypotheses were tested using a new integrative model of UCC usage, which is built up by incorporating the TAM and the PA(pleasure-arousal)model. We analyzed the data collected in our survey of 258 individual UCC users during the period from Oct 2006 to Dec 2006. We found that pleasure and arousal showed a strong significant effect on individual's UCC usage, supporting the findings of the exiting research on TAM. To be specific, arousal had an effect on the UCC usage through its effect on pleasure and self efficacy. Pleasure affected the UCC usage in two ways: First, pleasure affected UCC usage through increasing the ease of UCC service. At the same time, pleasure had a direct effect on the UCC usage. Contrary to what the prior research on technology acceptance suggested, we found ease of use and social influence had no significant effect on individual’s UCC usage. We suggest that this finding of no effect of ease of use and social influence has an important implication in understanding the UCC usage. That is, the UCC usage may be motivated by different factors than those which inspire other technology acceptance behavior. The UCC users may be engaging in a creative activity enjoying the sheer pleasure of creating UCC, self expression, and sharing what they want to tell. Intrinsic motivation rather than extrinsic motivation seems to click this new type of technology users.
In this study, the marketing activity of medical service providers via Internet was considered as a new technology for approaching this problem and the consumers' acceptance of the new marketing activity was analyzed through the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) path analysis. The path analysis was conducted for the non-insured medical departments and the insured medical departments. The path analysis revealed that the consumers felt usefulness of the marketing activity of non-insured medical service providers, which means that they have intention to accept and are satisfied with the Internet marketing activity provided by non-insured medical service departments. On the other hand, in the case of insured medical service, it was clarified that the 'easy of use' preferentially affects the users' intention of accepting the marketing activity rather than 'usefulness'.
B2C EC has two kinds of perspectives such as technology-oriented and trust-oriented perspectives. As lots of fraud damages on the B2C EC have been reported every day, the trust-oriented perspective receives lots of attention. In this study, an integrative typology for developing and validating trust measures for B2C EC proposed by McKnight et al.(2002a) and McKnight and Chevany(2002b) has been used for trust-oriented perspective, and the TAM(technology acceptance model) model proposed by Fred Davis in 1985 has been used for technology-oriented perspective. An research model had been developed by using the 4 factors of an integrative typology and 5 factors of the TAM model such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust beliefs, intention, and actual transaction. All 13 hypotheses had been proposed from this research model and tested by field study. 12 hypotheses, including the 4 f actors of an integrative typology as antecedents on trust beliefs, were significant, whereas the hypothesis 5 on the relationship between structural assurance and perceived ease of use was insignificant. Structures on B2C EC like guarantees, regulations, promises, legal recourse, or other procedures seemed to be difficult to B2C EC customers. Therefore, these structures should be developed more easier to B2C EC customers.
When new information communication technologies(ICTs) have appeared, researchers and praticitioners have explored how to spread the technologies. In e-commerce, social commerce has been introduced recently and attempts to understand social commerce have proposed diverse research models. This study proposed a hypothetical model which integrates technology readiness(TR), technology acceptance model(TAM), and theory of planned behavior(TPB). Through PLS path modeling, we found that every hypothesis except social norm-intention path alone proved significant. This result means that integrated model is useful to understand the adoption of new ICTs including social commerce. Finally, based on the findings, suggestions for future research were discussed.

This study aims to understand the determinant of the employee's intention to use information system within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Information System Success Model (ISSM). This paper also aims to examine the influence of ISSM dimension on the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use. The research respondents were 248 employees of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) who are users of the Financial Information System (SIKEU). Data was obtained using a questionnaire that was distributed online via Google form. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis using the Warp-PLS software. The results showed that the dimensions of TAM (perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness) had a positive and significant influence on the employee's intention to use SIKEU. The ISSM dimension (system quality and information quality) also had a significant influence, although other ISSM dimensions (service quality) had not been proven to have a significant influence on the employee's intention to use SIKEU. Moreover, the results showed that the employee's intention to use is a determinant of SIKEU's actual usage. Perceived ease of use was significantly determined by system quality, information quality, and service quality. In addition, the perceived usefulness was significantly determined by system quality and information quality.

Cloud accounting represents a new area of accounting information systems. Past research has often focused on accounting information systems and its antecedents, rather than factors that adopt cloud accounting system. The purpose of this paper is to explain the factors that influence the adoption of cloud accounting in the financial sectors. This paper applied the technology acceptance model (TAM), technology-organization-environment, and the De Lone and Mc Lean model, coupled with proposed factors relevant to cloud accounting. The proposed model was empirically evaluated using survey data from 187 managers (financial managers, IT department managers, audit managers, heads of accounting departments, and head of internal control departments) in Jordanian bank branches. Based on the SEM results, top management support, organizational competency, service quality, system quality, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use had a positive relationship with the intention of using cloud accounting. Cloud accounting adoption positively affected cloud accounting usage. This paper contributes to a theoretical understanding of factors that activate the adoption of cloud accounting. For financial firms in general the results enable them to better develop cloud accounting framework. The paper verifies the factors that affect the adoption of cloud accounting and the proposed cloud accounting model.
