This paper proposes a unit commitment scheduling method based on Parallel Genetic Algorithm(PGA). Due to a variety of constraints to be satisfied, such as the minimum up and down time constraints, the search space of the UC problem is highly nonconvex. So, we used transputer which is one of the practical parallel processors. It can give us fastness and effectiveness features of the proposed method for solving the problem. To show the effectiveness of the PGA based unit commitment scheduling, we tested results for system of 5 units and we can get desirable results.

시설재배시 지면피복재의 멀칭 효과로는 잡초발생 억제, 토양수분 보존, 지온상승 등이 있는데 이러한 효과를 이용해 토양수분유지는 물론 근권환경을 변화시켜 작물의 생육을 향상시키고 과실의 수량 및 품질향상을 증대시키기 위한 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다(Bhella 1988 : Lament 1993 : Park et al,. t991). 특히, 오이는 과채류 중에서 재배기간이 비교적 짧은 작물에 속할 뿐만 아니라 노화 속도가 타 작물에 비해 빠른 문제점을 갖고 있다. (중략)

To fabricate the metal-ferroelectric-insulator-semiconductor (MFIS) structure for the ferroelectric random access memory (FRAM) application, we prepared the ferroelectric $Sr_{0.9}Bi_{2.1}Ta_2O_9$ (SBT) and the insulator LaZrOx (LZO) thin films on the silicon substrate using a sol-gel method. In this study, we will investigate the feasibility of the SBT/LZO/Si structure as one of the promising gate configuration for the 1-transistor (1-T) type FRAM, by measurements of the electrical properties and the physical properties.

PMMA light guiding plate with nano pattern was fabricated by nano imprinting technology. Silicon mold was fabricated by conventional photolithography. A nickel stamper was fabricated by electroplating process using silicon mold. Nano imprinting was performed on PMMA plate at $140^{\circ}C$ under pressure of 20kN. The nano pattern on PMMA plate was investigated using FE-SEM.

Investigation of the chloroform soluble fraction of the red alga Liagora farinosa, collected from Hurghada at the Red Sea resulted in the isolation of three compounds; a nucleoside (thymidine) and two glycosides (methyl-${\beta}$-D-xylopyranoside and glycerol-2-${\alpha}$-D-glucopyranoside). The structures of the isolated compounds were established on the basis of different spectroscopic techniques as well as comparison with the previously published data. This is the first report for the isolation of the three compounds fron red algae; moreover, the compounds were examined for their antioxidant activity and showed variable activity.

Hyaluronic acid(HA) is a naturally occurring mucopolysaccharide composed of the repeating disaccharide unit of D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. HA exists as a high molecular weight polymer in the extracellular matrix of many tissues in the body. HA has been widely used not only for osteoarthritis and ophthalmology but also for cosmetics for skin care. Recently HA has drawin much attention for use in health foods. Bioland Corporation started production of HA t1y biotechnological process in 1990 for cosmetical use. At present Bioland produces HA for cosmetic and food use. We have done many researches to evaluate the helpful effect for skin and safety of HA as food. In order to evaluate the effect of HA on the skin after its oral intake, we measured its bioavailability, skin-care effects on anti-wrinkle, moisturization elasticity and desquamation by clinical trial. The results showed that HA is very safe and could bs helpful to improve anti-wrinkling, moisturization, elasticity, and desquamation on the skin.

본 논문에서는 차량 충돌 예방 장거리 레이더용 고 이득 및 저 잡음 77GHz CMOS 저 잡음 증폭기를 제안한다. 이러한 회로는 2볼트 전원전압 및 77GHz의 주파수에서 동작한다. 이러한 회로는 TSMC $0.13{\mu}m$ 혼성신호/고주파 CMOS 공정($f_T/f_{MAX}=120/140GHz$)으로 설계되어 있다. 전체 칩 면적을 줄이기 위해 실제 수동형 인덕터 대신 전송선을 이용하였다. 제안한 회로는 최근 발표된 연구결과에 비해 34.33dB의 가장 높은 전압이득과 5.6dB의 가장 낮은 잡음지수 특성을 보였다.

본 논문에서는 장거리 레이더용 차량 충돌 방지 77-GHz CMOS 믹서를 제안한다. 이러한 회로는 2볼트 전원전압에서 동작하며, 저 전압 전원 공급에서도 높은 변환 이득과 낮은 변환 손실 및 낮은 잡음지수를 가지도록 설계되어 있다. 제안한 회로는 TSMC $0.13{\mu}m$ 혼성신호/고주파 CMOS 공정($f_T/f_{MAX}=120/140GHz$)으로 설계하였다. 전체 칩 면적을 줄이기 위해 수동형 인덕터 대신 전송선(Transmission Line) 을 이용하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 믹서는 약 5.2dB의 우수한 변환이득 특성과 2.1dBm의 우수한 IIP3 특성을 보였다.

Two-dimensional (2D) ultrathin molybdenum dichalcogenides $MoS_2$ has gained a great deal of attention in energy conversion and storage applications because of its unique morphology and property. The 2D $MoS_2$ nanosheets provide a high specific surface area, 2D charge channel, sub-nanometer thickness, and high conductivity, which lead to high electrochemical performances for energy storage devices. In this paper, an overview of properties and synthetic methods of $MoS_2$ nanosheets for applications of supercapacitors and rechargeable batteries is introduced. Different phases triangle prismatic 2H and metallic octahedral 1T structured $MoS_2$ were characterized using various analytical techniques. Preparation methods were focused on top-down and bottom-up approaches, including mechanical exfoliation, chemical intercalation and exfoliation, liquid phase exfoliation by the direct sonication, electrochemical intercalation exfoliation, microwave-assisted exfoliation, mechanical ball-milling, and hydrothermal synthesis. In addition, recent applications of supercapacitors and rechargeable batteries using $MoS_2$ electrode materials are discussed.

Black soybean (BS) is widely thought to prevent or alleviate hair loss, which has been demonstrated by in vitro experiments. However, few clinical studies have directly assessed the effect of BS on hair growth. To assess the safety and efficacy of BS, we administered BS extract to 10 adult patients for 3 months without any other hair products and treatments. The number and diameter of hair lost from washing were examined every 4 weeks. In addition, the participants' satisfaction with their hair condition was also measured using the VAS (1 to 10) before and after treatment. The mean number of lost hair was 140.7 (SD 59.4) at baseline and 38.8 (SD 54.4) after 12 weeks, and the diameter of lost hair was 72.4 ㎛ (SD 11.9) at baseline and 80.4 ㎛ (SD 8.8) after 12 weeks, which indicated a statistically significant improvement (p = 0.002, p = 0.022, paired t-test). The satisfaction score was significantly increased from 6.10 (SD 1.2) to 8.2 (SD 1.1) after 12 weeks. These results suggest that BS extract may promote hair growth and prevent hair loss.
