  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics and financial status of credit delinquents utilizing the debt management program of the Credit Counseling and Recovery Service between January-June in 2007. Total sample of 41,355 cases was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS(Version 12.0). For analysis, descriptive statistics, F-test, Scheffe test, t-test, logit analysis and regression analysis were employed. People in the age range of 30-40s, males, high-school graduates, married couples, part-time employees, costfree residents and residents in other regions were relatively high users of the debt management program. Reasons of credit delinquency were diverse and was combined to credit default. However, increases in expenses and income reductions were found to be the most frequent reasons. Financial conditions of delinquents were worse than those of average persons shown on the national statistics. It was also found that age, sex, educational level, occupation, region of residence, home-ownership, reason of delinquency, income and total outstandings of debt were significant determinants of short-term debt burden which was measured by the ratio of monthly payment to income and long-term debt burden which was measured by repayment period.

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the industry foodservice management practices and to suggest guidelines for the effective foodservice management. The survey for the analysis was conducted through the questionnaires to dietitians. They were divided into two groups : the site color worker and the blue color worker. The questionnaires were received for a response rate of 73.2%. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SAS programs for descriptive analysis, $x^2$ test, T-test, F-test, and Fisher's LSD. The results of the study can be summarized as follows : 1) The level of education of dietitians and food cost in the employee feeding operations for the blue color worker was lower than the employee feeding operations for the white color worker. 2) The labor productivity indices were not significantly different according to types of workers. But in the employee feeding operations for the blue color worker, full-time foodservice employees worked more than 10.7 hour per week than their counterpart. This indicates the full-time foodservice employees in the employee feeding operations for the blue color worker performed more loaded work compared to the employee feeding operations for the white color worker. 3) Equipped rate of facilities in the employee feeding operations for the blue color worker was low especially in the food preparation and cooking processes.

The research method was a survey method using a questionnaire. The subjects were 632 college students (male: 302, female: 330) living in Seoul area. Statistical analysis methods were factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$-reliability coefficient, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The self-efficacy factor derived four categories including self-control efficacy, social self-efficacy, physical self-efficacy, and task difficulty preference. The college students who were in higher social stratification and older had more appearance management behavior, and those who had lower task difficulty preference and lower physical self-efficacy had more plastic surgery management. Both men and women who had higher self-control efficacy had more clothing management. Women who had higher self-control efficacy, social self-efficacy, and task difficulty preference had more appearance management expenses.

  • Velocity-dependent increase in tonic stretch reflexes is one of the prominent characteristics of spasticity. It is very important to evaluate spasticity objectively and quantitatively before and after treatment for physicians. An accurate quantitative biomechanical evaluation for the spasticity which is caused by the disorder of central nervous system is made in this study. A sudden leg dropper which is designed to generate objective testing environment at every trial gives very effective environment for the test. Kinematic data are archived by the 3-dimensional motion analysis system($Elite^{(R)}$, B.T.S., Italy). Kinematic data are angle and angular velocity of lower limb joints, and length and lengthening velocity of lower limb muscle. A program is also developed to analyze the kinematic data of lower limb, contraction and relaxation length of muscles, and dynamic EMG data at the same tim. To evaluate spasticity quantitatively, total 31 parameters extracted from goniogram, EMG and muscle model are analyzed. Statistical analysis are made for bilateral correlations for all parameters. The described instrumentation and parameters to make quantitative and objective evaluation of spasticity shows good results.

The results of the study were the -followings: 1. Four segments of brand image attributes of women's shoes derived by factor analysis: F. 1. 'utility' F.2'appearance' ; F. 3 'sales promotion' ; F.4 'financial factor'. 2. As the result of draw up the perceptual map 'landrover' was high in utility but low in appearance 'Misope' and 'Mook' was low in utility but high in appearance. 'Fashion Leader' was in the nearest ideal direction to the utility and appearance. 3. The preference level of the shoes brand name was in order of the 'Fashion Leader'. 'Mook' and 'Soda' But consumers possessed 'Landrover' the most 4. There were significant differences among preference level of ' Landrover' and 'Misope' according to the social class. There were sig-nificant differences among possession level of 'Misope' and 'Soda' according to the social class 5. the middle and lower class consumers used an exchange ticket during the bargain sales more than upper class when they pur-chase shoes.

  • The purpose of present study was to examine the differences in effectiveness of internet apparel advertising using avatars as determined by the avatar involvement. After conducting a pilot test for 35 high school students, final data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire survey from 324 high school students living in Seoul area from July 18 to July 19, 2003; 317 were used for data analysis. Data were analyzed by chi-square analysis, t-test, cluster analysis, descriptive statistics, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. As a result, the subjects were divided into 3 groups based on the level of avatar involvement: high, middle and low involvement groups. There were significant differences in avatar advertising effects among the groups divided by avatar involvement. Those who indicated the higher levels of avatar involvement were more likely to be positive in the cognitive responses, emotional responses, advertising attitude, brand attitude, the stimulus degree of connection, and the recall rates of the brand name. Also, Vector imaging ads were found to be more effective in the brand name recall rates.
