  • Cutaneous lymphoid hyperplasia (CLH) is a cutaneous pseudolymphoma with a worldwide distribution, equally affecting all races and ethnic groups. Due to its vast array of characteristics, it is most often missed in the differential diagnosis of firm to soft lumps on the head and neck. A systematic approach to the workup and diagnosis along with treatment of such lesions is discussed in this article. A 20-year-old Asian Indian female presented to our Oral and Maxillofacial unit with a lump on the left side of her forehead for 1 month. Local examination revealed a $2.5{\times}3.0cm^2$, well circumscribed swelling over the left para median region that was firm to doughy and non-tender. There was no other significant finding on general examination. Excisional biopsy of the lesion was performed, followed by histopathologic processing. The general etiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, differential diagnosis, clinical course, prognosis, treatment, and prevention have been discussed in line with the recent modalities of diagnosis and treatment of CLH. Due to the overlapping clinical and histological characteristics of CLH with many other lesions, it is important to consider this lesion in the differential diagnosis of cutaneous lesions.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an evidence-based Nursing Process System on Nursing Diagnosis, Nursing Outcomes, and Nursing Interventions Classification targeting nurse students. We use standard classification-focused research data on the basis of Nursing Diagnosis Classification established by NANDA (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association), NOC (Nursing Outcomes Classification) and NIC (Nursing Interventions Classification) mainly developed by Iowa Sate University. The existing research methods are difficult to be applied the consistent nursing process, since such methods need to repeatedly enter the same nursing process without systematic guidelines. But, this study was coded data of standardized nursing process in accordance with the 10 clinical condition in order to implement the nursing process macro, and developed a system that reflects the needs of nursing educators. Therefore, nurse students can improve clinical decision-making ability, and naturally learn the nursing process through a system developed.

  • As the complexity of power systems increases, especially in the case of multiple faults or incorrect operation of protective devices, fault diagnosis requires new and systematic methods to the reasoning process, which improves both its accuracy and its efficiency. Therefore this paper proposes a method of the modeling of protection systems and fault diagnosis in power systems using Fuzzy Petri Nets (FPN). The proposed method can reduce processing time and increase accuracy when compared with the traditional methods. And also this method can cover online processing of real-time data from SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).

  • From ancient times. the diagnosis method of the oriental medicine has been Performed by curing diseases by means of rectifying and adjusting the unbalance in the Physiological function of the five viscera and the six bowels of a human body. Diseases have been diagnosed by the condition of blood circulation that cycles a human body through blood vessels by dint of the vitality of the heart, Based on such a systematic pulse diagnosis method, the article presents parameters that will be beneficial to clinical application on the basis of its analysis of the filtering for eliminating noises from pulse signals inputted from sensor group the digital hardware dealing with signals necessary for recognition algorithm. and the structure of diagnosis algorithm and components of pulse waveform.

  • K14 patient with chronic dyspnea, who is senile female, early had suffered from radical mastectomy, radiotherapy, autoplastic transplantation, and knee arthritis. Abnormalities of cardiopulmonary function such as obesita, hypertension, mild left ventricular hypertrophy, and chronic pulmonary disease were found from K14 patient's clinical datas, which based on medical history and diagnosis, as well as evaluation of blood pressure, obesity, clinical diagnosis, chest PA, electrocardiogram, ultrasonocardiograph, and spirometery test. Diagnostic results were exactly analyzed, also long-term cares of K14 patient were discussed with related to the clinical literatures.
