Data association is a process that matches a recent observation with known data set, which is used for the localization of mobile robots. Edges in topological maps have rich information which can be used for the data association. However, no systematic approach on using the edge data for data association has been reported. This paper proposes a systematic way of utilizing the edge data for data association. First, we explain a Local Generalized Voronoi Angle(LGA) to represent the edge data in 1-dimension. Second, we suggest a key factor extraction procedure from the LGA to reduce the number by $2^7-2^8$ times, for computational efficiency using the wavelet transformation. Finally we propose a way of data association using the key factors of the LGA. Simulations show that the proposed data association algorithm yields higher probability for similar edges in computationally efficient manner.

기존 유선 인터넷과 달리 무선 인터넷은 낮은 대역폭, 빈번하게 접속이 끊기는 현상, 단말기내의 낮은 컴퓨팅 파워 및 작은 화면, 사용자의 이동성 등의 특성에 따른 많은 제약점들을 갖고 있다. 또한 무선 인터넷 서버는 급증하는 사용자에 따른 대용량 트래픽을 처리할 수 있도록 확장성이 있어야 한다. 이에 위의 문제를 캐싱(Caching)과 압축(Transcoding, Distillation)으로 해결하는 방법으로 무선 프록시서버를 사용한다. TranSend는 클러스터링 기반의 무선 프록시 서버로 제안된 것이나 시스템적인(Systematic) 방법으로 확장성을 보장하지 못하는 단점을 가진다. 이에 본 논문에서는 시스템적인 방법으로 확장성을 보장하는 클러스터링 기반의 무선 인터넷 프록시 서버를 제안한다. 16대의 컴퓨터를 사용하여 실험을 수행하였고 실험 결과 TranSend 시스템에 비해 32.17%의 성능 향상을 보였다.

This study was to understand perception level and education need on hospice, and to development effective education contents of hospice for medical students. Descriptive survey research design was used. Participants were 426 and the data collecting period was from July. 22. to July. 29. in 2008. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, chi-square test, Wilcoxon's signed rank test. The participants experiencing in hospice education program demonstrated higher perception level and education need about hospice than non-participants. Also, The participants experiencing in hospice education showed more concerning on effective education contents of hospice than non-participants. Therefore, hospice education program must be prepared in a continual and systematic way in order to provide for effective education of medical students in Korea.

Structured modeling provides a formal mathematical framework, language, and computer-based environment for conceiving, representing, and manipulating a wide variety of model. It provides a natural framework for integrated modeling owing to its explicit representation power for computational dependencies among submodles. Nevertheless, it doesn't seem to offer a systematic way of composing a structured model from submodels. In order to develop a systematic way, this paper discusses three key issues : (1) Genus structure for model composition, (2) Storage of structured models, and (3) Integration of structured models. To formalize and visualize the approach, a programming module is developed to implemented the step-by-step integration.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the sex consciousness, sex problems and sex education of adolescence emphasizing the validity and necessity for the systematic enforcement of sex education. For this purpose, a questionnaire representing six categories, the relationship, with the opposite sex, sexual knowledge, sex consciousness, sex morality, sex problems, and sex education, was developed by the researchers. The subjects of this study was 224 middle school students and 267 hight school students in Seoul. Sex ratio of these subjects was about the same; For the satistical analysis of the collected data, frequency, Chi-square, and severed one way ANOVA’s and two way ANOVA’s were performed.05 was used as a significance level in this study. The most important findings in the study showed that most of the students wanted the systematic sex education in school, especially by the professionals in the sex education field.

Design factors such as design objects establishment, analysis, synthesis, production, test and evaluation should be educated in a systematic way. Also design ability to reflect practical restrictive conditions such as industrial standards, economic feasibility, environmental impact, aesthetics, safety and reliability, ethical impacts and social impacts should be cultivated. In this paper, we explain the meaning of these terms and propose a systematic engineering design education framework satisfying Korean engineering education accreditation criteria. We also present a simple implementation in information network engineering.

This paper present backstepping control approach for controling chaotic Liu system. The proposed method is a systematic design approach and consists in a recursive procedure that interlaces the choice of a Lyapunov Function. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, control laws are derived. We used the same technique to enable stabilization of chaotic motion to a steady state as well as tracking of any desired trajectory to be achieved in a systematic way. Numerical solution are shown to verify the result.

A systematic classification of Korean traditional patterns has been made according to their objects and presenting methods. The classification is represented with 3 levels of categories. First, the superordinate category is composed of 7 groups of patterns, i.e. Naturals, Animals, Plants, Artifacts, Geometric, Composites, and Others. Second, the basic category is composed of motifs in each group. Third, the subordinate category is composed of 3 types, i.e. realistic, stylized, abstracted, according to the degree of simplification. As this classification is a method for organizing informations in Korean traditional patterns in a systematic way, it can offer a useful basis for computerization of the patterns.

This study develops and introduces the program for letting learners study statistics in a systematic and efficient way by using Excel tools such as VBA and Macro, when they study statistical inference at two populations. This study helps learners understand the steps on statistical inference at two populations by utilizing the systematic and visual techniques.
