IS 실무자의 업무 활동과 IS 지식 및 소프트웨어 전문 기술 간의 관계에 대한 실증 연구 (Relationship among Activities, Knowledge, and Skills of Information System Practitioners)

  • Cluster analysis according to the activities IS practitioners perform shows that IS practitioners can be broadly categorized into two groups, generalists and specialists: generalists allocate their work time relatively evenly across the activities while specialists allocate more time on some specific activities than on other activities. Empirical findings also show that generalists and specialists are required to possess different configurations of IS knowledge and skills respectively to do their work successfully and that they possess different configurations of IS knowledge and skills. Empirical findings reveal that specialists change the activities they do mainly as their carrier evolves while generalists do not.

콜드체인 시스템의 센서태그 운영 최적화를 위한 DEVS 기반 시뮬레이션 모델 (DEVS-Based Simulation Model for Optimization of Sensor-Tag Operations in Cold Chain Systems)

  • The application of radio frequency identification (RFID) sensor-tags in cold chain systems has recently received a great deal of attention. To design cold chain systems with RFID sensor-tags that minimize the initial investment and operational cost while fulfilling the functional and operational requirements, simulation study is one of the preferable and effective approaches. To simulate the possible design configurations, the individual components in a cold chain system can be extracted and implemented as a DEVS (Discrete Event System Specification) model. Based on the proposed DEVS model, a new cold chain simulation model can be efficiently created by simply connecting each DEVS model around the RFID sensor-tag of interest in sequence according to the structure of the cold chain system, and then executed (or simulated) on Java programming environments by the DEVSJAVA simulator. As a result of simulation, some key performance indexes such as reliability, accuracy or timeliness can be calculated and used to choose better components or to compare different system configurations of cold chain systems.

무인항공기의 노즐 형상 변화가 Lock-on Range에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Investigation of the Effects of UAV Nozzle Configurations on Aircraft Lock-on Range)

  • 표적 대상 항공기의 적외선 lock-on range는 항공기의 생존성을 결정하는데 있어 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 무인항공기의 엔진 노즐 형상이 lock-on range에 미치는 영향에 관한 이론적 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 가상 아음속 항공기의 임무 요구조건과 엔진 성능분석을 통한 형상 변형노즐을 고려하였다. 먼저 열유동장과 노즐 표면 온도분포를 해석한 다음, 적외선 신호 해석을 수행하였다. 또한 대기전파 모델인 LOWTRAN 코드를 이용하여 고도와 계절변화에 따른 대기투과율을 계산하였다. IR 유도 미사일의 센서 특성값을 가정하여 여러 노즐형상에 대한 lock-on 및 lethal envelope 계산을 수행하였다. 높은 세장비를 갖는 변형노즐의 경우 최대 55.3%의 lock-on range 감소가 가능한 것으로 나타났다.

  • The aerodynamic drag characteristics of HEMU-400X which has been being developed for the maximum speed of 430km/h were analyzed experimentally as the variations of the pantograph cover configurations to reduce the acoustic noise and the aerodynamic drag of the pantograph system. The wind tunnel tests were performed with three pantograph cover models upon 1/20 scaled 5-car model of HEMU-400X. Two kinds of wedge shapes which induce up-flow in the vicinity of the pantograph and one cone shape which reduces the whole train drag were used in order to compare the aerodynamic characteristics as the pantograph cover shape changes. The each axial force of 5 each car was measured at a time with the test velocities, 30, 40, 50, 60m/s. Through the wind tunnel test the base drag forces of HEMU-400x model and the forces by the pantograph cover on the train model were investigated and the aerodynamic drag characteristics of the train model by the pantograph cover configurations were analyzed.

  • This paper presents the conceptual design of a multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) based on an axiomatic design. In most aerial vehicle design approaches, design configurations are affected by past and current design tendencies as well as an engineer's preferences. In order to design a systematic design framework and provide fruitful design configurations for a new type of rotorcraft, the axiomatic design theory is applied to the conceptual design process. Axiomatic design is a design methodology of a system that uses two design axioms by applying matrix methods to systematically analyze the transformation of customer needs into functional requirements (FRs), design parameters (DPs), and process variables. This paper deals with two conceptual rotary wing UAV designs, and the evaluations of tri-rotor and quad-rotor UAVs with proposed axiomatic approach. In this design methodology, design configurations are mainly affected by the selection of FRs, constraints, and DPs.

  • In this study, we constructed a four-channel impedance measurement system including a two-channel goniometer to analyze human arm movement. Impedances and joint angles were simultaneously measured for wrist and elbow movements. As the impedance changes resulting from wrist and elbow movements depended heavily on electrode placement, we determined the optimal electrode configurations for those movements by searching for high correlation coefficients, large impedance changes, and minimum interferences in ten subjects (age: 29+6). Our optimal electrode configurations showed very strong relationships between the wrist joint angle and forearm impedance (correlation coefficient = 0.95+0.04), and between the elbow joint angle and upper arm impedance (correlation coefficient = -0.98+0.02). Although the measured impedances changes of the wrist (1.1+1.5 ohm) and elbow (-5.0+2.9 ohm) varied among individuals, the reproducibilities of wrist and elbow impedance changes of five subjects were 5.8+1.8 % and 4.6+1.4 % for the optimal electrode pairs, respectively. We propose that this optimal electrode configuration would be useful for future studies involving the measurement of accurate arm movements by impedance method.

  • 미생물연료전지는 혐기성 조건에서 미생물의 촉매 반응을 통해 유기물질의 화학에너지를 전기에너지로 변환하는 생물전기화학 장치이다. 미생물연료전지의 전력밀도 및 쿨롱효율은 산화전극 챔버 내 미생물의 종류, 시스템 구성요소 및 운전조건에 영향을 받는다. 미생물연료전지에서 달성할 수 있는 전력은 구성요소, 물리적 및 화학적 운전조건, 바이오 촉매 선택 등의 최적화로 디자인을 변형하여 현저하게 증가시킬 수 있다. 본 총설에서는 미생물연료전지의 구성, 운전 매개변수의 최적화 및 성능과 더불어 장래 응용에 대한 최근 연구를 중점적으로 고찰하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this research is to construct real-time image acquisition system for a line-scan inspection system as a computer vision system. To construct the line-scan inspection system, many problem arise. However, problems of image acquisitions using linear CCD are practically studied in this paper. These problems are concerned to proper lighting systems, relations with handling system, camera systems, and impacts due to the noise of environment. These problems are examined separately, and proper configurations for each case are suggested to construct the line-scan image acquisition system.

유체 계면에서 야누스 입자의 흡착 에너지 (Attachment Energy of Janus Particles at Fluid-Fluid Interfaces)

  • 이 총설에서는 야누스 입자가 유체 계면에 흡착할 때, 이들 입자가 가지는 평형 배향에 대한 이론적 접근 방법을 소개하고자 한다. 구형, 타원면, 그리고 아령 모양의 야누스 입자를 모델로 하여, 입자의 모양, 젖음성, 크기가 평형 배향에 강하게 영향을 준다는 사실을 설명하겠다. 특히 야누스 타원면의 경우, 특정 조건에서 두 개의 에너지 최소점이 존재하고, 따라서 이들 입자들이 두 개의 배향(수직 배향과 기울어진 배향)을 동시에 가질 수 있음을 의미한다. 또한 입자들이 각각의 배향을 가질 확률은 두 에너지 최소점 사이의 에너지 장벽에 해당하는 방위각에 의해서 결정된다. 반대로 야누스 아령은 오로지 한 개의 배향만을 취하지만, 입자의 기하학적 그리고 화학적 비등방성과 비대칭성이 증가할수록 중간 배향을 갖게 된다. 중간 배향 상태에서 입자들은 일정 범위 내의 방위각에서 자유롭게 회전할 수 있다. 야누스 입자의 배향에 대한 연구는, 이들 입자들이 유체의 계면에 비가역으로 흡착할 때, 개별 입자들의 배향이 입자간 상호 작용, 회합 현상, 그리고 더 나아가 유변학적 성질에 직접적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 점에서 그 중요성을 찾을 수 있다.

  • In this paper, the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack for easy capacity enlargement series in the medium power capacity inverter system of the 660V voltage class is described. The parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack for 1.5MVA medium power inverter system's design is applied. The results of the parallel operation are described in this paper. The designed stack capacity for parallel operation is 800kVA class. For 1.5MVA inverter system, the 800kVA stack is applied with 2 parallel configurations. The 800kVA stack is designed with 3 parallel configurations of the IGBT Module. In this paper, the feasibility for easy capacity enlargement series in the medium power inverter by applying the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack is verified. The experimental results show the good characteristics for the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack.
