Network-based IDS(Intrusion Detection System) gathers network packet data and analyzes them into attack or normal. They raise alarm when possible intrusion happens. But they often output a large amount of low-level of incomplete alert information. Consequently, a large amount of incomplete alert information that can be unmanageable and also be mixed with false alerts can prevent intrusion response systems and security administrator from adequately understanding and analyzing the state of network security, and initiating appropriate response in a timely fashion. So it is important for the security administrator to reduce the redundancy of alerts, integrate and correlate security alerts, construct attack scenarios and present high-level aggregated information. False alarm rate is the ratio between the number of normal connections that are incorrectly misclassified as attacks and the total number of normal connections. In this paper we propose a false alarm classification model to reduce the false alarm rate using classification analysis of data mining techniques. The proposed model can classify the alarms from the intrusion detection systems into false alert or true attack. Our approach is useful to reduce false alerts and to improve the detection rate of network-based intrusion detection systems.

The analysis of existing XML documents and other documents was centered on words. It can be implemented using a morpheme analyzer, but it can classify many words in the document and cannot grasp the core contents of the document. In order for a user to efficiently understand a document, a paragraph containing a main word must be extracted and presented to the user. The proposed system retrieves keyword in the normalized XML document. Then, the user extracts the paragraphs containing the keyword inputted for searching and displays them to the user. In addition, the frequency and weight of the keyword used in the search are informed to the user, and the order of the extracted paragraphs and the redundancy elimination function are minimized so that the user can understand the document. The proposed system can minimize the time and effort required to understand the document by allowing the user to understand the document without reading the whole document.

The resonant mechanism of reradiation interference (RRI) over 1.7MHz from power transmission lines cannot be obtained from IEEE standards, which are based on researches of field intensity. Hence, the resonance is ignored in National Standards of protecting distance between UHV power lines and radio stations in China, which would result in an excessive redundancy of protecting distance. Therefore, based on the generalized resonance theory, we proposed the idea of applying model-based parameter estimation (MBPE) to estimate the generalized resonance frequency of electrically large scattering objects. We also deduced equation expressions of the generalized resonance frequency and its quality factor Q in a lossy open electromagnetic system, i.e. an antenna-transmission line system in this paper. Taking the frequency band studied by IEEE and the frequency band over 1.7 MHz as object, we established three models of the RRI from transmission lines, namely the simplified line model, the tower line model considering cross arms and the line-surface mixed model. With the models, we calculated the scattering field of sampling points with equal intervals using method of moments, and then inferred expressions of Padé rational function. After calculating the zero-pole points of the Padé rational function, we eventually got the estimation of the RRI’s generalized resonant frequency. Our case studies indicate that the proposed estimation method is effective for predicting the generalized resonant frequency of RRI in medium frequency (MF, 0.3~3 MHz) band over 1.7 MHz, which expands the frequency band studied by IEEE.

The NARO is South Korea's first carrier launch vehicle, which made its flights from NARO Space Center on 25 August 2009 and 10 June 2010. LV PACS(Preparation Automated Control System) is a electrical ground support system to monitor and control the integrated launch vehicle during the launch preparation and operation in Launch Complex. As a subsystem of LV PACS, LV PACS-II was developed for launch preparation and operation of the NARO upper stage, and all the functions and requirements were verified successfully through NARO flight tests. In this paper the core technology and characteristics applied to LV PACS-II are described.
Data mining is the process of discovering hidden, non-trivial patterns in large amounts of data records in order to be used very effectively for analysis and forecasting. Because hundreds of variables give rise to a high level of redundancy and dimensionality with time complexity, they are more likely to have spurious relationships, and even the weakest relationships will be highly significant by any statistical test. Hence cluster analysis is a main task of data mining and is the task of grouping a set of objects in such a way that objects in the same group are more similar to each other than to those in other groups. In this paper system implementation is of great significance, which defines a new definition based on information-theoretic entropy and analyse the analogue behaviors of objects at hand so as to address the measurement of uncertainties in the classification of categorical data. The sources were taken from a survey aimed to identify of job guidance from students in high school pyeongtaek. we show how variable precision information-entropy based rough set can be used to group student in each section. It is proved that the proposed method has the more exact classification than the conventional in attributes more than 10 and that is more effective in job guidance for students.

Marine oil spill accidents not only devastates marine ecosystem but also Ins significant adverse socio-economic impact on local community whose living is dependent on clean marine system Although the Marine Environment Management Act of the Republic of Korea stipulates tim marine pollution impact survey must be conducted at the time of the oil spill, the articles do not provide specifics or concrete survey items for socio-economic impact assessment Moreover, there are redundancy questions in the provisions related to socio-economic impact assessment. This paper examined several difficulties encountered in carrying out the socio-economic impact assessment for marine oil spill as required in the law, and presented some recommendation., for the plan to improve the assessment mechanism systematically through the development of the research categories and indicators of socio-economic impact assessment.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of degrees of freedom on the multi-synergies in two hierarchies of human hand system during force production and releasing tasks. Method: In this study, the constrained movements of the aiming and releasing actions using both hands and fingers during archery-like shooting were implemented as experimental tasks. The participants produced a pulling force holding the customized frame (mimicking an archery bow, with a set of force transducers) and kept it consistently for about 5 seconds, and released fingers as quickly as possible in a self-paced manner within the next 5 seconds. An analytical method based on the uncontrolled manifold hypothesis was used to quantify the stability index (synergy index) in two hierarchies including two hands (upper hierarchy) and individual fingers (lower hierarchy). Results: The results confirmed that the positive synergy pattern showed simultaneously at the upper and lower hierarchies, and the kinetic degrees of freedom were associated with the increment of hierarchical synergy indices and the performance indices. Also, the synergy indices of both hierarchies showed significant positive correlations with the performance accuracy during the task. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the human control system actively uses extra degrees of freedom to stabilize task performance variables. Further increasing the degree of freedom at one level of hierarchy induces positive interactions across hierarchical control levels, which in turn positively affects the accuracy and precision of task performance.

With the recent increase in the development of domestic independent turbofan engines for aircraft, there is a need to develop software for FADEC(Full Authority Digital Engine Control) with real-time fault diagnosis functions to enhance fuel efficiency, engine performance, and reliability. As engine control algorithms become more sophisticated, software is being developed using Model-Based Design(model-based development) methods. This paper introduces the Middleware architecture of FADEC(Full Authority Digital Engine Control), which connects hardware with Model-Based Design(model-based development) software. Given the high reliability and safety required for turbofan engines in aircraft, the design complies with DO-178C[1] International Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification Guidelines.

There had been substantial demand for record management system with which to efficiently control the information circulation processes, involving accumulation of recorded materials, classification of information resources, and users access to them. It converged to a collaboration of Australian federation, and Sydney Records Centre and finally induced Australian Standard Records Management, commonly known as AS 4390. AS 4390 served later as a model for International Standard of Record Management. This paper introduces the current undertaking of Recordkeeping system development in Australia, which stems from the line of AS 4390 by analysing exhibited research approaches. The analysis includes the definition, regime of Recordkeeping system, design and implementing of guidelines of Recordkeeping System and information on metadata projects. It also highlights the necessity for standardization, as is the prime factor in promoting inter-linking of Tabularium on New Southwales State, CRS(Commonwealth Record Series), database system of Canberra National Archives and Australian Government Locator Service. From year 2005, as dictates, any record management system, serving public agency will be required to adapt Professional Archives Management System, which, by far, will enhance the inter-compatibility. In its application, the government need Thesaurus to eliminate possible redundancy in use of terminology and to promote correct usage of words.
This paper aims to analyze the Award wage system in Australia for construction workers. Considering low wages and precarious employment situation of construction workers in general, it is of advantage especially for them in Australia. Furthermore, it seems to be instructive for Korean construction workers, who stand in more precarious and unstable situation and furthermore are lack of fair wage and social safety. After strong and longstanding labour struggle in the late 19th century in Australia, it has been established a tripartite institution called as 'tribunal' between trade unions, employers, and the government. Under the highly institutionalized form of industrial relations, it functions as an arbitration and conciliation system between labour and management. The Award wage system stands in the middle point. This Award wage system including various welfare provisions is settled by the tribunal, today renamed as Fair Work Commission. In this wage system should be defined level of minimum wages according to the various skill levels, which are in turn connected with compulsory superannuation and Medicare as well as vocational education and training. Furthermore, it provides especially for the construction workers, who suffer from job instability, so-called 'portable benefits', which relate to long service leave and redundancy pay. Considering general conditions of precarious construction workers in Korea, In that respect, the Australian Award wage system would be very instructive for our social wage and safety system for construction workers.
