  • Consider the optimal design for PV system, it is apply to 3kW interconnected electric power PV system, that is a point of reference for 3kW PV the spread residential section system. Through the driving various practical system, we look into that for efficiency of generation and stability of interconnected system. Using obtained data acquisition, It can be suggest that installation and management for system parameter to optimal design maximum generation electric power. PV system have some losses that are variation radiation, shadow, change temperature, unbalanced grid connection, serial circuit loss, MPP deference loss, PCS loss and so forth. Using obtained various performance characteristic result, we can make database in the future, through the this study, we can get the reliance and have regard to spread PV system.

Hardware-In-The-Loop Simulation (HILS) Based Design and Robustness Evaluation of an Intelligent Gantry Crane System

  • The use of gantry crane systems for transporting payload is very common in industrial application. However, moving the payload using the crane is not an easy task especially when strict specifications on the swing angle and on the transfer time need to be satisfied. To overcome this problem, this paper describes development of an intelligent gantry crane system based on the mechatronic design. A lab-scale gantry crane is designed and then its intelligent controllers are developed. Fuzzy logic controllers are adopted, designed and implemented for controlling payload position as well as the swing angle of the gantry crane. The performance of the intelligent gantry crane system is evaluated on a hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) environment. Moreover robustness of the proposed system is also evaluated. The result shows that the intelligent gantry crane system designed based on the mechatronic design approach has better performance compared with the automatic gantry crane system controlled by classical PID controllers. Moreover simulation result shows that the intelligent gantry crane system is more robust to parameter variation than the automatic gantry crane system.

소형풍력발전 블레이드용 복합재료의 피로수명 분포에 대한 확률론적 평가 (Statistical Distribution of Fatigue Life of Composite Materials for Small Wind-Turbine Blades)

  • 본 논문에서는 소형풍력발전시스템 블레이드 제작에 사용되는 복합재료의 피로수명 데이터에 대한 통계적 해석을 위하여 다양한 확률분포 모델의 적합성에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 삼축 유리섬유강화 복합재료를 대상으로 0$^{\circ}C$, 45$^{\circ}C$ 및 90$^{\circ}C$ 의 하중방향에 대한 인장시험을 실시하였다. 또한 상기의 하중방향에 대하여 4 수준의 피로응력준에서의 피로시험을 수행하였다. 이를 통하여 획득한 피로수명 데이터를 대상으로 1) 전체 적합성, 2) 끝단 적합성 및 3) 피로물리 일치성의 기준을 이용하여 2 모수 Weibull, 3 모수 Weibull, 정규 및 대수정규분포의 적합성을 평가하였다. 또한 피로수명의 분산에 대한 하중방향 및 피로응력의 영향 역시 검토하였다.

  • In this paper, some optical parameters which have effects on the measuring precision and sensitivity of optical current sensor are analyzed. Each parameter occurs changes of specific characteristics of optical sensor system. The influences of performance and characteristics variation of optical current sensor are described in accordance with the changes of optical output power, optical bias point which is called phase difference, and a specific constant related to sensor material and wavelength of light source.

  • Robust design is to identify appropriate settings of control factors that make the system's performance robust to to changes in the noise factors that represent the source of variation. In the Taguchi parameter design, the product array approach using orthogonal arrays is mainly used. However, it often requires an excessive number of experiments. An alternative approach, which is called the combined array approach, was suggested by Welch et. al. (1990) and studied by others. In these studies, only single response variable was considered. We propose how to simultaneously optimize multiple responses when we use the combined array approach.

  • This paper deals with design of linear switched reluctance motors(LSRM) which drive a testing machine of eddy current magnetic repulsion system using Halbach array and conducting plate.   • Servo performance of a disk drive is greatly affected by the mechanical resonance frequencies of the head gimbal assembly (HSA). It is important factor to allow broader bandwidths for servo system in improving overall drive performance. In this paper, an optimal design for ODD suspension is attempted to increase resonance frequencies in tracking direction. Initial model was designed and the design parameter was defined to the model. The mode frequency variation for the change of design parameter was observed by modal analysis using the finite element method(FEM). The sensitivity matrix was calculated from the observed data and so through sensitivity analysis, an optimized ODD suspension was designed to have the higher resonant frequency than the initial model.

  • In this paper, we suggest a variable structure controller using the time-varying nonlinear sliding surface instead of the fixed sliding surface, which has been the robustness against parameter variations and extraneous disturbance during the reaching phase. As appling TS fuzzy algorithm to the regulation of the nonlinear sliding surface, the reaching time of the system trajectory is faster than the fixed method . This proposed scheme has better performance than the conventional method in reaching time parameter variation and extraneous disturbance. To demonstrate its performance, the proposed control algorithm is applied to a rotational inverted pendulum.

  • Piezoelectric BaTiO$_3$-polymer composite were investigated for dielectric and piezoelectric properties with the barium titanate active particle size. Under the condition of the same density and ceramic volume ratio of composite, the dielectric and piezoelectric constant of composite are increasing as the ceramic particle size in composite are increasing. The surface layer model was quoted to explain these phenomena in our system and experimentally confirmed. The connectivity parameter of modified cube model of composite was calculated from the dielectric constant variation as their particle size. The connectivity parameter X and Y were 77.8% and 98.9% respectively. It means that the barium titanate particle distribution in composite nearly approach to the parallel mode. It was experimentally confirmed that the surface layer has low dielectric and nonferroelectric properties. Dielectric constant and thickness of surface layer were calculated from the equivalent circuit of composite.
