Electronic payment system using Internet banking is a very important application for users of e-commerce environment. With rapidly growing use of fintech applications, the risk and damage caused by malicious hacking or identity theft are getting significant. To prevent the damage, fraud detection system (FDS) calculates the risk of the electronic payment transactions using user profiles including types of goods, device status, user location, and so on. In this paper, we propose a new risk calculation method using relative location of users such as SSID of wireless LAN AP and MAC address. Those relative location information are more difficult to imitate or copy compared with conventional physical location information like nation, GPS coordinates, or IP address. The new method using relative location and cumulative user characteristics will enable stronger risk calculation function to FDS and thus give enhanced security to electronic payment systems.
This study was carried out to isolate of antagonistic bacterium to Allium cepa L. pathogens. A total of 250 strains were isolated from A. cepa L. roots. The isolates were screened for antagonism to A. cepa L. pathogens and the isolated strain No. YJ-4 was selected among these bacteria. It was identified as Bacillus ehimensis based on morphological and physiological characteristics according to the Bergey's mannual of systematic bacteriology, Sherlock system of Microbial ID Int and 165 rDNA sequences methods. Bacillus ehimensis YJ-4 showed broad spectrum of antibacterial and antifungal activities against plant pathogens as Alternaria porri, Botrytis cinerea, Erwinia carotovora subsp. carotovora Fusarium of oxysporium, penicillium sp., Pseudomonas sp., Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotium cepivotum, Septoria sp., Stemphylium botryosum. Various network attacks such as DDoS(Distributed Denial of service) and orm are one of the biggest problems in the modern society. These attacks reduce the quality of internet service and caused the cyber crime. To solve the above problem, signature based IDS(Intrusion Detection System) has been developed by network vendors. It has a high detection rate by using database of previous attack signatures or known malicious traffic pattern. However, signature based IDS have the fatal weakness that the new types of attacks can not be detected. The reason is signature depend on previous attack signatures. In this paper, we propose a k-means clustering based malicious traffic detection method to complement the problem of signature IDS. In order to demonstrate efficiency of the proposed method, we apply the bayesian theorem.
Fast transmission speeds and various wired network services have been combined with the convenience and mobility of wireless services. The combination of wired/wireless technologies is spreading rapidly since it enables the creation of new services and provides new features to both users and service providers. In such wired/wireless integrated services, network integration is very important because such systems are integrated by a linkage between heterogeneous networks and they involve an integration of transmission technologies across networks. In this situation, existing security and communication technologies are unsuitable since the network are integrated with heterogeneous networks. The network may also have several security flaws. In existing homogeneous networks, user authentication and key management between heterogeneous networks are required for these new technologies. The establishment of security technologies for heterogeneous devices is a very important task between homogeneous networks. In this paper, we propose a secure and efficient key management system for a heterogeneous network environment. Our system provides secure communications between heterogeneous network devices.

Frequencies of red blood cell (RBC) blood group antigens differ by ethnicity. Since the number of immigrants is increasing in Korea, RBC antigens should be assessed in children/youths with parents of different ethnicities to ensure safe transfusions. We investigated the frequency of RBC antigens, except for ABO and RhD, in 382 children and youths with parents having Korean and non-Korean ethnicities. Subjects were divided into those with ethnically Korean parents (Korean group; N=252) and those with at least one parent of non-Korean ethnicity (non-Korean group; N=130). The 37 RBC antigens were genotyped using the ID CORE XT system (Progenika Biopharma-Grifols, Bizkaia, Spain). The frequencies of the Rh (E, C, e, $hr^S$, and $hr^B$), Duffy ($Fy^a$), MNS ($Mi^a$), and Cartwright ($Yt^b$) antigens differed significantly between the two groups. Eight and 11 subjects in the Korean and non-Korean groups, respectively, exhibited negative expression of high-frequency antigens, whereas 14 subjects in the non-Korean group showed positive expression of low-frequency antigens. The frequency of RBC antigens has altered alongside demographic changes in Korea and might lead to changes in distribution of RBC antibodies that cause acute or delayed hemolytic transfusion reaction.

In recently, ship trajectory data consisting of ship position, speed, course, and so on can be obtained from the Automatic Identification System device with which all ships should be equipped. These data are gathered more than 2GB every day at a crowed sea port and used for analysis of ship traffic statistic and patterns. In this study, we propose a method to process ship trajectory data efficiently with distributed computing resources using MapReduce algorithm. In data preprocessing phase, ship dynamic and static data are integrated into target dataset and filtered out ship trajectory that is not of interest. In mapping phase, we convert ship's position to Geohash code, and assign Geohash and ship MMSI to key and value. In reducing phase, key-value pairs are sorted according to the same key value and counted the ship traffic number in a grid cell. To evaluate the proposed method, we implemented it and compared it with IALA waterway risk assessment program(IWRAP) in their performance. The data processing performance improve 1 to 4 times that of the existing ship trajectory analysis program.
A simple, specific, and economical LC-MS/MS method was investigated for the screening of 43 prescribed antihypertensive and related drugs in human urine. The urine samples were simply prepared by diluting and mixing with internal standard before directly introduced to the LC-MS/MS system, which is fast, straightforward, and cost-effective. Fractional factorial, Box-Behnken, and I-optimal design were applied to screen and optimize the mass spectrometric and chromatographic factors. The analysis was carried out on a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer system utilizing multiple reaction monitoring with positive and negative electrospray ionization method. Chromatographic separation was performed on a Thermo Scientific Accucore RP-MS column (50 × 3.0 mm ID., 2.6 ㎛) using two separate gradient elution programs established with the same mobile phases. Chromatographic separation was performed within 12 min. The optimal method was validated based on FDA guideline. The results indicated that the assay was specific, reproducible, and sensitive with the limit of detection from 0.1 to 50.0 ㎍/L. The method was linear for all analytes with coefficient of determination ranging from 0.9870 to 0.9981. The intra-assay precision was from 1.44 to 19.87% and the inter-assay precision was between 2.69 and 18.54% with the recovery rate ranges from 84.54 to 119.78% for all drugs measured. All analytes in urine samples were stable for 24 h at 25℃, and for 2 weeks at -60℃. The developed method improves on currently existing methods by including larger number of cardiovascular medications and better sensitivity of 12 analytes.
To verify the performance of a Distributed Translator Network(DTxR) system in the real world conditions, 5 legacy DTV broadcasting repeater sites were implemented with 5 DTxR systems and field-tested by the DTV field test truck. The 4 DTV broadcasting repeater sites are selected in congested areas where their service areas are overlapped and the 5th site is deviated from the other sites to examine the effect of long-delayed multipath signals. First of all, we checked the receiving signal of the main station that used as a transmitting signal in 5 DTxR systems on the pre-selected 60 test points and tested every case of a DTxR system's on & off except 1 repeater site due to the already built-in DTV repeater system. The test items are received signal electric field strength, noise margin, ease of reception and subjective evaluation of the picture quality for received signals. We used 3rd, 5th, and 6th generation DTV receivers to examine the differences of the receivability by each generation of DTV receivers. Reviewing the test results, we conclude that the DTxR system can be adopted in the current DTV Repeater sites and it could improve the quality and receivability of the main signals by extending the service areas and enhancing the signal levels in the shadow areas without using the extra broadcasting channels.
Since the introduction of web 2.0 technology, social network service has been recognized as the foundation of an important future information technology. The advent of web 2.0 has led to the change of content creators. In the existing web, content creators are service providers, whereas they have changed into service users in the recent web. Users share experiences with other users improving contents quality, thereby it has increased the importance of social network. As a result, diverse forms of social network service have been emerged from relations and experiences of users. Social network is a network to construct and express social relations among people who share interests and activities. Today's social network service has not merely confined itself to showing user interactions, but it has also developed into a level in which content generation and evaluation are interacting with each other. As the volume of contents generated from social network service and the number of connections between users have drastically increased, the social network extraction method becomes more complicated. Consequently the following problems for the social network extraction arise. First problem lies in insufficiency of representational power of object in the social network. Second problem is incapability of expressional power in the diverse connections among users. Third problem is the difficulty of creating dynamic change in the social network due to change in user interests. And lastly, lack of method capable of integrating and processing data efficiently in the heterogeneous distributed computing environment. The first and last problems can be solved by using FOAF, a tool for describing ontology-based user profiles for construction of social network. However, solving second and third problems require a novel technology to reflect dynamic change of user interests and relations. In this paper, we propose a novel method to overcome the above problems of existing social network extraction method by applying FOAF (a tool for describing user profiles) and RSS (a literary web work publishing mechanism) to OLAP system in order to dynamically innovate and manage FOAF. We employed data interoperability which is an important characteristic of FOAF in this paper. Next we used RSS to reflect such changes as time flow and user interests. RSS, a tool for literary web work, provides standard vocabulary for distribution at web sites and contents in the form of RDF/XML. In this paper, we collect personal information and relations of users by utilizing FOAF. We also collect user contents by utilizing RSS. Finally, collected data is inserted into the database by star schema. The system we proposed in this paper generates OLAP cube using data in the database. 'Dynamic FOAF Management Algorithm' processes generated OLAP cube. Dynamic FOAF Management Algorithm consists of two functions: one is find_id_interest() and the other is find_relation (). Find_id_interest() is used to extract user interests during the input period, and find-relation() extracts users matching user interests. Finally, the proposed system reconstructs FOAF by reflecting extracted relationships and interests of users. For the justification of the suggested idea, we showed the implemented result together with its analysis. We used C# language and MS-SQL database, and input FOAF and RSS as data collected from livejournal.com. The implemented result shows that foaf : interest of users has reached an average of 19 percent increase for four weeks. In proportion to the increased foaf : interest change, the number of foaf : knows of users has grown an average of 9 percent for four weeks. As we use FOAF and RSS as basic data which have a wide support in web 2.0 and social network service, we have a definite advantage in utilizing user data distributed in the diverse web sites and services regardless of language and types of computer. By using suggested method in this paper, we can provide better services coping with the rapid change of user interests with the automatic application of FOAF.

Purpose : The renin-angiotensin system(RAS) plays an important role in renal growth and development. We have studied the prevalence of renal anomalies and documented the association between karyotype and renal anomalies using IVP and ultrasonography. Furthermore, to investigate the impact of RAS gene polymorphism on renal anomaly in Turner syndrome, we examined the ACE I/D genotype, angiotensinogen(AGT) gene M235T, angiotensin receptor type 1(ATR) gene A1166C. Methods : Cytogenetic analysis was performed in 33 Turner syndrome patients on peripheral blood lymphocytes. Ultrasonography(US) of the kidneys and collecting system and intravenous pyelography(IVP) were perfomed in all patients. Nuclear scintigraphy{Tc 99m dimercaptosuccinic acid(DMSA) scan} was also performed for the definite renal diagnosis if indicated. And, ACE I/D genotype, angiotensinogen(AGT) gene M235T, angiotensin receptor type 1(ATR) gene A1166C were examined by PCR amplification of genomic DNA samples. Results : The prevalence of renal anolmalies in Turner syndrome was 36.4%(12/33). The Karyotype 45, X was observed in 18 of the 33 girls(54.5%), of whom 8(44.4%) had renal anomalies. Mosaic karyotypes were observed in 11(33.3%) and four(12.2%) had a non-mosaic structural aberration of the X chromosome. In this group 4(25.7%) had renal anomalies. More renal anomalies were associated with the 45, X karyotype than those with mosaic/structural abnormalities of X chromosome, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). And, there was no significant differences in the RAS gene polymorphism and allele frequencies between renal anomaly group and normal group in Turner syndrome. Conclusion : The prevalence of renal anolmalies in Turner syndrome was 36.4%. There is no significant differences in the RAS gene polymorphism and allele frequencies between the renal anomaly group and the normal group in Turner syndrome.
