끝 단에 스프링-질량계가 연결된 엘리베이터 로프의 진동 (Vibration of Elevator Rope with a Spring-mass System at the Tip)

  • This study is concerned with the free vibration analysis of an inextensible uniform rope with a spring-mass system at the tip. The rope is hanged vertically in a gravitational field. This problem is related to the free vibration of an elevator rope connected to an elevator cage. The equation of motion and the corresponding boundary conditions are derived by using the Hamilton's principle. The general solution of the governing equation of motion is expressed in terms of Bessel functions. The characteristic equation was derived by applying the boundary conditions. The characteristic values which are in fact non-dimensionalized natural frequencies were obtained numerically. The effects of mass and spring constant were investigated. The numerical results show how the tip mass and spring affect the natural frequencies of the rope.

  • In this study, we tried to investigate the impedance characteristic of human arm in a cooperative task. Human arm was moved in a desired trajectory. The motion was actuated by a 1 degree-of-freedom robot system. As the muscle is mechanically analogous to a spring-damper system, a second-order equation was considered as the model for arm dynamics. In the model, inertia, stiffness and damping factor were considered. The impedance parameter was estimated from the position and torque data obtained from the experiment and based on the "Estimation of Parametric Model".   • The Microsource has to supply high quality Power that has high reliability and high energy efficiency to Load according to operating type of Microgrid. The energy sources of microsource type have various dynamic characteristic and transient response corresponding to classes and application skill. This paper shows dynamic characteristic of Microgrid according to Energy Source of microsource type. This research has been carried out by detailed modelling of Microturbine system and Fuelcell system. All models are realized by EMTP/RV and simulated change of operating type and load increase within Microgrid of DC constant voltage inverter model and Microturbine, Fuelcell based Microsource.

TDR 측정시스템이 도입된 압력판 추출 시험기를 이용한 흙-함수특성곡선 연구 (Soil Water Characteristic Curve Using Volumetric Pressure Plate Extractor Incorporated with TDR System)

  • 흙-함수특성곡선에 대한 선행 연구결과들의 경우, 정량적으로 간극수 유출입량을 측정하여 모관흡수력에 따른 체적함수비를 산정하였다. 본 연구에서는, 압력판 추출시험기(VPPE)에 Time Domain Reflectimoetry(TDR) 측정 시스템을 도입하여 불포화토의 건조과정 및 습윤과정 진행에 따른 유전상수를 측정하여 체적함수비를 산정하고자 하였다. 압력판 추출 시험기는 압력셀, 압력조절장치, 뷰렛 시스템, TDR 프로브로 구성된다. 압력셀에 초기 간극비가 다른 두 시료를 조성한 후, 압력조절장치를 이용하여 압력셀 내부에 0.1kPa - 50kPa 범위의 공기압을 가하여 모관흡수력을 조절하였다. 그리고 뷰렛시스템을 이용하여 모관흡수력 변화에 따른 시료의 체적함수비 변화를 측정하였다. 또한, 압력셀 내부에 설치된 TDR 프로브를 이용하여 프로브 양단에서 발생되는 전자기파의 반사 신호로부터 유전상수를 산정하였다. 주문진 표준사의 체적함수비 변화에 따른 유전상수 측정에 대한 보정으로 도출한 체적함수비와 유전상수관계를 이용하여 시료의 체적함수비를 산정하였다. 실험 결과, 시료의 초기 간극비와 상관없이 TDR 프로브에 의해 산정된 체적함수비는 뷰렛 시스템을 통해 정량적으로 산정된 체적함수비와 매우 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 건조과정 및 습윤과정 진행에 따라 동일한 모관흡수력에 대한 함수비의 차이가 존재하는 이력현상(Hysteresis)이 발생하였고, 건조과정 및 습윤과정의 반복에 따라 이력현상은 줄어들었다. 본 연구에서 적용된 전자기파의 시간영역반사법(TDR)을 통해 불포화토의 흙-함수특성곡선을 효과적으로 파악할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

물 순환 시스템용 BLDCM의 센서리스 제어 방식에 따른 출력 특성 비교 (Output Characteristic Comparison of BLDC Motor for Water Circulation System According to Sensorless Control Methods)

  • The sensorless control of blushless DC motor(BLDCM) is based on the $120^{\circ}$ control in which the back electromotive force(Back EMF) for estimating the position of the rotor can be detected. However, the $120^{\circ}$ control has a disadvantage that the torque constant is small as compared with $180^{\circ}$ control which can not detect the back EMF. The $150^{\circ}$ control which complements these problems makes it possible to detect the back EMF and improve the torque constant by 12.5% compared to the $120^{\circ}$ control. Therefore, this paper compares the output characteristics of BLDCM through finite element method analysis (FEA) by the conventional and proposed control methods of BLDCM for water circulation system and proposes design for downsizing and weight reduction of BLDCM according to secured torque constant. The validity of the proposed control and design proposal is proved through simulation and experimental results by comparing the output characteristics of $120^{\circ}$ control and $150^{\circ}$ control.

  • This paper proposes a robust digital controller for PWM voltage source inverter using CRA method. The usual inverter controller for the operation of constant voltage and constant frequency consists of a double looped PI controller for the outer voltage controller and the inner current controller, of which the order of characteristic polynomial is high and so the gain tuning is difficult. Considering the limited switching frequency of the devices and sampling frequency of the digital controller, the gain tuning is usually based on the engineering experiences with the try and error method. In this paper, the error-space approach is used to get the system model including the controller with low order, and the characteristic ratio assignment (CRA) method is proposed for the design of robust controller which has the advantage to design the optimal gain to meet the referenced response and overshoot within the limit range. The PSiM simulation and experience results are shown to verify the validity of the proposed controller.

  • 본 논문에서는 800MHz대역의 TRS(Trunked Radio System)대역을 비롯한, GSM(Global System for Mobile telecommunication), CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) 대역을 통합할 수 있는 광대역 마이크로스트립 안테나를 설계하고자 한다. 그리고 선박 및 해상 안전에 상용 가능한 선박 기지국 중계기용 안테나를 설계하였다. 마이크로 스트립 안테나의 협대역을 개선하기 위해서 직사각형 패치에 U자 형태의 급전구조를 갖고, 그라운드와 급전 사이에 유전체(${\varepsilon}_T$ = 2.1), 패치와 급전 사이에는 유전체 (${\varepsilon}_T$ = 1)인 서로 다른 유전체를 사용하여 이중 공진 효과를 이용하였다. 설계된 안테나의 주파수 대역폭(VSWR 2:1)은 $780MHz{\sim}1.83GHz$로 2.61GHz의 광대역 특성을 보였으며. 또한 E-평면과 H-평면 모두 이득은 9.dBi이상. 3dB 빔폭은 E-평면 과 H-평면 $60^{\circ}$이상의 개선된 특성을 보였다.

  • This paper is about modeling on 1500V DC electric railroad system. Electric railroad systems have peculiar characteristics against other electric system. The characteristics arc that the railroad systems have electric vehicle loads which are power-varying and location-varying with time. Because of this load characteristic, the electric railroad system modeling which reflects its own characteristics on EMTDC simulation could not be achieved. However, to reflect load characteristic on EMTDC, this paper suggests electric railroad system modeling by using TPS (Train Performance Simulator) that was developed in Korea Railroad Research Institute. A TPS program has various kinds of input data, such as operation condition, vehicle condition, and power system condition. By these data, TPS calculates mechanical power consumption and location, especially it decide electric power consumption on the basis of the fact that consumed electric and mechanical power are equal. Moreover, on this paper, movement of vehicle is reflected on EMTDC simulation as variation of feeder impedance. Also, an electric vehicle load is modeled as time-varying constant power load model.

  • In this paper, the basic experiment, electrolytic cell design and basic manufacturing have been made to interpret the characteristics of Hydrogen-Oxygen-Gas-Generator. As for the detailed matters, the data research on basic technology on Hydrogen-Oxygen-Gas and analysis on characteristics of Hydrogen-Oxygen-Gas from basic experiment. Also the experiment of characteristics and comparative evaluation between constant current source using SCR converter from existing method and constant current source using new phase shift PWM control method converter. As results when it has injected constant DC current, we has compared Gas quantities by variable ripple frequencies using phase shift PWM control method converter. Therefore, in linear region, it has not different Gas quantities by constant DC current and by phase shift PWM control method converter. Also, it has increased Gas quantities wilder linear region when put ripple frequency at saturation region. Through, Gas quantities and input rower, it has acquired higher input power per Gas quantities at put pulse current. Therefore, when designing converter or inverter for electrolysis, which has ripple current.

  • This study is about how to lower the driving voltage that enables to move the micro droplet by the EWOD (Electro Wetting On Dielectric) mechanism. EWOD is well known that it is used ${\mu}-TAS$ digital micro fluidics system. As the device which is fabricated with dielectric layer between electrode and micro droplet is applied voltage, the hydrophobic surface is changed into the hydrophilic surface by electrical property. Therefore, EWOD induces the movement of micro droplet with reducing contact angle of micro droplet. The driving voltage was depended on the dielectric constant of dielectric layer, thus it can be reduced by increase of dielectric constant. Typically, very high voltage ($100V{\sim}$) is used to move the micro droplet. In previous study, we used $Ta_{2}O_{5}$ as the dielectric layer and driving voltage was 23V that reduced 24 percent compared with $SiO_2$. In this study, we used $BZN(Bi_{2}O_{3}ZnO-Nb_{2}O_{5})$ layer which had high dielectric constant. It was operated the just 12V. And micro droplet was moved within Is on 15V. It was reduced the voltage until 35 percents compare with $Ta_{2}O_{5}$ and 50 percents compare with $SiO_2$. The movement of micro droplet within 1s was achieved with BZN (ferroelectrics)just on 15V.
