A Study on Performance Evaluation of Multipurpose Functional Synthetic Resin Formworks (다목적 기능 합성수지 거푸집 성능평가에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is a multipurpose functional synthetic resin formwork which can replace existing euro form. We tried to improve the disadvantages such as work noise, stenosis, recyclability, and workability of Euroform system. As a result of the test, Euroform showed an average of 106.7dB and synthetic resin formwork showed an average of 100.4dB. Therefore, it is considered that the synthetic resin formwork has a great effect of noise reduction compared to the euro form.

  • The goal of a distributed simulation such as battle field simulation is to combine all kinds of simulations in the same synthetic environment and to make people interact at the same time. It is a key issue to share the same synthetic environment among simulations. To support reusability and affordability in the modeling and simulation area, DMSO(Defense Modeling and Simulation Office) of USA developed concepts such as HLA(High Level Architecture) and SEDRIS (Synthetic Environmental Data Representation and Interchange Specification). In the industrial simulation area, the digital manufacturing is the main stream. To reduce cost and to reuse simulation environment, the standardization becomes the focus of digital manufacturing. This study proposes to use SEDRIS to improve interoperability of manufacturing data. The simulation data of DELMIA, which is a leading commercial digital manufacturing solution, is mapped and translated into the SEDRIS transmittal format. Mapping of the manufacturing simulation data and the synthetic environment are implemented and verified through experiments.

  • As the research on the development of the lightweight concrete block by the hydro-thermal synthetic reaction mixed with the calcareous material and bottom ash that is used less among siliceous material, we studied on the physical and chemical characteristics in the changes of hydro-thermal synthetic reaction of lightweight concrete block compounded with the PP fiber to increase flexural toughness and to prevent fragility failure. The results of the experiment are as follow. According to the increase of hydro-thermal synthetic reaction and the fiber content, compressive and flexural strength increased. Despite the changes of the hydro-thermal synthetic reaction time, tobermorite was produced on each of the specimens similarly. However, the phase of tobermorite was changed in accordance with the changes of time. Also, $CaCo_{3}$ appeared on the surface of the 9 hour hardened specimen.

Adsorption of Lead Ion by Zeolites Synthesized from Jeju Scoria (제주 스코리아로부터 합성된 제올라이트에 의한 납이온 흡착)

  • The adsorption performance of lead ion was studied using five zeolites (Na-P1, sodalite (SOD), analcime (ANA), nepheline hydrate (JBW), cancrinite (CAN)) synthesized from Jeju scoria. The adsorption performances of lead ion decreased in the order of Na-P1 > SOD > ANA > JBW > CAN. These results showed that the synthetic zeolite with a higher cationic exchange capacity showed a higher adsorption performance. The uptake of lead ion by synthetic zeolites were described by Freundlich model better than Langmuir model. The adsorption kinetics of lead ion by synthetic zeolites fitted the pseudo 2nd order kinetics better than pseudo 1st order kinetics. The effective diffusion coefficients of lead ion by synthetic zeolites were ten times higher than the zeolite A synthesized from coal fly ash.

  • Most of the cultural assets in Korea are wooden structures. Due to the material characteristics of wood, the preservation of traditional wooden structure is impossible by simple maintenance. Damaged member is replaced with new member or completely dissolve and restore them. But member has a cultural value, so that it is impossible to arbitrarily replace each member. Although the preservation treatment method using synthetic resin is emphasized, there is no exact standard for proper reinforcement ratio. This paper is experimental study for reinforcement ratio of wooden flexural member with synthetic resins, Reinforced ratio on section area of flexural member. As a result, synthetic resin reinforcement are selected as experimental variables by proper ratio enhanced flexural capacity of reinforced wooden member than new wooden member.

  • A hit-miss transform(HMT) using synthetic structuring elements(SE's) for optical recognition of a moving target is proposed. A moving target which was obtained from a fixed view point has objects. In proposed HMT, SE's are synthesized by using SDF(synthetic discriminant function) algorithm for efficient recognitionof various shapes of true class objects in noisy and cluttered scene. The synthetic hit SE and the synthetic miss SE are composed of SDF of hit SE's and miss SE's for each true class object. Simulation results show the proposed method can be used for the recognition of various shapes of the true class with one one HMT operation.

  • M-DNAs based on zinc and cobalt ions were formed at the conditions of $26^{\circ}C$, 76% humidity, atmosphere, and pH 8.0. Some process parameters in synthesis of M-DNA such as synthetic temperature, concentration of metal ions, and synthetic time were varied and the electrical properties were investigated by changes of the parameters. The electrical properties of M-DNA showed the dependences on synthetic temperature, concentration of metal ions and synthetic time. The I-V characteristics rapidly increased with each increase of the parameters.

Optimal Synthesis Conditions of Synthetic Aluminum Silicate (합성규산 알루미늄의 최적합성조건)

  • Synthetic aluminum silicate was prepared by reacting aluminum sulfate solution with Sodium silicate solution in this study. The optimum synthesis conditions based on the yield of the product were established by applying Box-Wilson experimental design. The results were found to be as follows; Reactant temperature : 50∼72$^{\circ}C$, Concentration of two reactants : 10∼17.6%, Mole ratio of two reactants, [Sod. silicate]/[Al. sulfate) : 4.6∼5.0, Temperature of washing water : 25∼4$0^{\circ}C$, and Drying temperature of product : 50∼$65^{\circ}C$. The physical and chemical properties of synthetic aluminum silicate as medicine were investigated by means of chemical analysis, adsorption test and acid consuming capacity measurements.

  • In this paper, surface defects and typical illumination mechanisms for steel plates are analyzed, and then optimum illumination mechanism is selected using discrete wavelet transform (DWT) synthetic images and discriminant measure (DM). The DWT synthetic images are generated using component images decomposed by Haar wavelet transform filter. The best synthetic image according to surface defects is determined using signal to noise ratio (SNR). The optimum illumination mechanism is selected by applying discriminant measure (DM) to the best synthetic images. The DM is applied using the tenengrad-euclidian function. The DM is evaluated as the degree of contrast using the defect boundary information. The performance of the optimum illumination mechanism is verified by quantitative data and intuitive image looks.
