A Design and Implementation of RSS Data Collecting Engine based on Web 2.0 (웹 2.0 기반 RSS 데이터 수집 엔진의 설계 및 구현)

  • The environment of web service has changed a great deal due to the progress of internet technology and positive participation of users. The established web service is static and passive, but the recent web service is becoming dynamic and active. Web 2.0 reflects current web service change well. The primary feature of web 2.0 is positive participation of users. Since the size of generated information is becoming larger, it is highly required to share the information fast and correctly. The technology to satisfy this need is web syndication and tagging in web 2.0. The web syndication makes feeds for another site or users to receive the content of web site. In addition, the tagging is the kernel of a information. Many internet users share rapidly the information through tag search. In this paper, we propose the efficient technique to improve the web 2.0 technology such as web syndication and tagging by using the data collection engine. Data collection engine has stored in a database, a user's Web site to use the information. and it has a user's Web site with access to updated data to collect. The experimental results show that our approach can improve the search speed up to 3.14 times better than the existing method and reduce the size of data up to 66% for building associated tags.

  • 디지털 정보환경 하에서는 이용자가 정보를 찾아오기 기다리기 보다는 이용자를 찾아가 수요를 창출하고, 이용자의 취향에 맞춘 정보제공이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 연구장비정보의 효율적인 정보제공을 위해 푸시(push)와 풀(pull) 서비스를 통합한 맞춤정보 서비스 모델을 제시하고, RSS(Really Simple Syndication) 2.0과 Dublin Core Metadata Element Set 1.1을 참고하여 연구장비정보의 RSS-XML 메타데이터를 설계한 후, 풀(pull) 형태의 선택적 정보제공(SDI)시스템을 구현하여 이를 적용하였다.

  • Recently, the internet has seen tremendous growth with plenty of enriched information due to an increasing number of specialized personal interests and popularizations of private cyber space called, blog. Many of today's blog provide internet users, RSS, which is also hewn as the syndication technology. It enables blog users to receive update automatically by registering their RSS channel address with RSS aggregator. In other words, it keeps internet users wasting their time checking back the web site for update. This paper propose the ways to manage RSS Channel Searching Crawler and collected RSS Channels for internet users to search for a specific RSS channel of their want without any obstacles. At the same time. This paper proposes RSS channel ranking based on user popularity. So, we focus on an idea of adding index to information and web update for users to receive appropriate information according to user property.

  • The new technology, RSS(Really Simple Syndication), allows people to send and receive a lot of up-to-date information by constant monitoring websites and databases for new information, without having to visit the site or database. The "gatekeeping" task for capturing and delivering various information influx via new digital channels as speedy as possible, is being discussed as a new form of service in the field of information service system nowadays. Given this situation, the RSS tool can be greatly useful in the gatekeeping task. This paper, by analyzing concrete cases in which RSS is actually employed in libraries and also newly applied to other diverse information services in France, expects to provide insightful ideas for developing innovative information services in other countries.

  • Due to the recent tremendous growth of internet information, RSS, syndication technology provides internet users with a user-friendly information search. RSS enables you to automatically receive newly updated contents, so users do not need to constantly access web sites to obtain new information. This paper proposes the way of managing the web crawler, which collects the sites of RSS documents and helps the users efficiently use the RSS documents. And it also suggests the proper way of ranking the RSS documents based on the users' popularity. Users can efficiently search out the documents they need by using the proposed information searching methods.

  • 2008년 IPTV를 시작으로 IP망을 통한 서비스가 본격적으로 시작되었으나 VOD 전송에 있어 대부분의 서비스가 On-demand 형태로 원하는 것을 찾아가서 시청 및 다운로드 받는 형태였다. 시청자 편의와 네트워크의 효율적인 활용을 위해 RSS(Really Simple Syndication)를 활용하여 CE-HTML(Consumer Electronics-HTML)이 탑재된 DTV수신기에 VOD를 전송하는 방법을 소개한다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 전송 기술을 이용하여 시청자는 CE-HTML 브라우저로 RSS 주소를 다운받아 저장하고 삭제하며 DTV 수신기에 설치된 RSS Application 은 저장된 RSS 주소를 활용하여 주기적으로 VOD 데이터를 가져간다. 시청자는 자신이 원하는 VOD가 다운로드 되면 시청한다. 인터넷을 효율적으로 활용하여 DTV 수신기에 풍부한 VOD 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 기술을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Content의 배급 및 구독을 위해 등장한 시맨틱 웹의 대표적인 기술인 RSS 를 통하여 모바일 환경에서의 사용자가 원하는 Content를 전달 받을 수 있는 시스템을 제안하고 있다. 이 시스템은 DCD Server를 사용하여 각 Content에 대한 정보를 담고 있게 되며, UDDI를 이용하여 사용자가 원하는 Content를 키워드 검색으로 통해 지정할 수 있게 된다. 또한 사용자가 선택한 각각의 Content는 RSS를 통하여 사용자의 모바일 Client로 전달되게 된다.

  • RSS(RDF Site Summary)는 웹 사이트의 콘텐츠를 간단하게 기술하고 RSS 수집기는 사용자에게 이를 적절한 형식으로 보여준다. 그러나 현재의 RSS는 자신의 콘텐츠에 대해서만 기술하고 있어서 웹 자원의 검색 측면에서 볼 때 사용자는 그와 유사한 콘텐츠를 갖는 다른 웹 사이트를 찾는데 또 다른 노력을 들여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 현재의 RSS에 다른 웹 사이트로 연결되는 추가적인 요소를 통하여 웹 자원의 탐색에 RSS를 이용할 것을 제안한다.

  • The RSS is a document format for syndicate a document maded by a WebSite. A document that made and syndicated to fit for this format is called a RSS feed or a feed. This paper presents the design of package for an RSS feed parser that analyzes an RSS feed and saves its informations. according to the RSS specification. This paper establishes an RSS grammar and an automata recognizing that grammar. Based on the automata, we design a package for classes that recognize elements of an RSS feed.
