  • 인터넷의 비약적인 발달로 인해 복잡해진 지식체계에 따른 다양해진 정보를 손쉽게 구할수 있게 되었으나, HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language)과 같은 정적인 텍스트 위주의 고정된 내용의 웹 페이지 저작으로는 멀티미디어에 대한 점차 증대되는 사용자의 요구를 수용할 수 없게 되었다. 시간에 기반을 둔 멀티미디어 객체를 동기화 하는 효과적이 프레젠테이션을 기술할 수 있는 SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language)이 W3C (World Wide Web Consortium)에 의해 제안되었다. 이러한 SMIL은 선언적 마크업(Markup) 언어이므로 텍스트 편집기 등으로 쉽게 저작할 수 있으나, 태그(Tag)기반 언어이므로 태그를 암기하고 사용법을 숙지하여야만 효과적인 멀티미디어 프레젠테이션 제작이 가능하다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 Java를 기반으로 하여 사용자 편의적인 GUI(Graphical User Interface)에 입각한 멀티미디어 데이터의 통합 및 동기화를 위한 SMIL 전용 저작도구의 구현 및 향후 개발 방향을 제시하였다.

  • Conventional stereo image acquisition uses a pair of frame grabbers in the CAS(Computer Assisted Surgery) system. In this Paper, we developed a synchronized stereo image acquisition method with only one frame grabber Two images from left and right camera each other. were merged with different color space without time delay and thus only one frame grabber was enough toy stereo image. Due to this synchronous Property of image acquisition, we can improve spatial revolution on the computation of 3D Position. Furthermore the overall costs for 3D navigator can be down and the extraction time of stereo Position tan be shortened.

  • In this paper, we propose a simulator to evaluate the performance of the semi-active laser guidance or the quadrant photodetector and to simulate the laser power reflected from a target. The laser pulse repetition frequency was generated and synchronized with the laser pulse repetition(PRF) code. To evaluate the performances of the proposed methods, we implemented a prototype system and performed experiments. As a result, the generated high voltage was variable in the range of DC 3V to 340V and has the rate of change of 2000 V/s. PRF code can be generated within 50ms ∼ 100ms and the error is implemented within 0.3ns. The laser output is synchronized with the PRF code and has a dynamic range of 23.6dB.

  • This paper is concerned with multiple motor control using a distributed network control method. Speed and position of multiple motors are synchronized using clock synchronized distributed controllers. CAN (controller area network) is used and a new clock synchronization algorithm is proposed and implemented. To verify the proposed control algorithm, two disks which are attached on two motor shafts are controlled to rotate at the same speed and phase angle with the same time base using network clocks.

  • Pseudolite (PL) is a kind of signal generator, which transmits GPS-like signal at the ground. However our own made PL is different from a GPS satellite in clock accuracy. GPS satellites are synchronized by use of high precision atomic clocks. But because our PLs use low cost temperature controlled oscillators (TCXO), so it is very difficult to synchronize them. Hence, we should install reference station and use Differential GPS (DGPS) algorithm to calculate user position. By use of this method, we already developed indoor navigation system a few years ago.   • 터빈 노즐 면적을 최적화함과 동시에 동기화 시킴으로서 기관의 싸이클 특성의 변화를 시도하였다. 그 결과 동력 추출을 위한 가스 유동이 제한을 받게 되고 최종의 팽창비 $\delta$에 의하여 싸이클의 변화가 이루어졌으며 동력의 이득은 싸이클 효율이 증가됨으로써 성취되었다.

Gene expression of feline leukemia virus(FeLV) in cat kidney cells with radioimmunoassay using beta-emission of $^{131}I$ (요오드 131$^{131}I$의 beta-emission을 이용한 면역방사성표지법에 의한 feline leukemia virus의 유전자 발현에 관한 연구)

  • Synchronized cat kidney cells chronically infected with feline leukemia virus (FeLV) were used to study virus production, the synthesis of group specific antigen (gag) and envelope (env) proteins, the expression of env protein on the cell surface during the cell cycle, and the stability of viral RNA. As detecting method, we developed the radioimmunoassay (RIA) system using beta-emission of $^{131}I$ and demonstrated the validity of this system by comparison with routine RIA system using gamma-emission of $^{125}I$. The produced virus was analysed by developed RIA interval was determined by measuring reverse transcriptase activity. The results show that infected cells produce the complete virus particle containing products of gag, env and pol genes of FeLV, and maximum virus production occurs during mitosis of synchronized cells. Labeling of the cell surface of synchronized cells with $^{131}I$ shows that the amount of $gp70^{env}$ on the cell surface parallels cellular gorwth. Therefore, the cell cycle-dependent release of virus is not petition RIA of synchronized cells with $^{131}I$ labeled viral proteins synthesis during the cell cycle. The rate of synthesis of gag protein shows three peaks, corresponding to the $G_1,\;late\;S\;and\;late\;G_2$ phases of cell cycle. But the rate of synthesis of env protein dose not change, suggesting that in these cells the synthesis of these two gene products in controlled seperately. In Actionomycin D treated cells, the synthesis of viral proteins decreased sharply from 8 hours after treatment, and the late S and $G_2$ peaks of gag protein synthesis were disappeared. This shows the stability of viral RNA for about 6 hours in the absence of continuing viral RNA synthesis.

  • The transient vibration test and synchronized human excitation is performed for low-rise concrete buildings and their identified natural frequency, damping ratio, and mode shape are compared. Form the identified dynamic parameters, it was found that the damping ratio obtained through the synchronized human excitation test is greater than those obtained from the transient vibration test. However, the mode shapes of the first mode are not significantly different regardless of the test method. Further, the stiffness of the interior brick partition considerably affect the stiffness of the entire building such that the first natural mode of rectangular shaped building occurred in the longitudinal direction rather than transverse direction.

  • The proliferation of bone marrow stem cell compartment is thought to be under both positive and negative controls by cytokines and colony stimulation factors. Macrophage inflammatory $protein-1{\alpha}(MIP-1{\alpha})$ has been assessed for its potential to protect hematopoietic stem cells from cytotoxic effects of a cycle-specific antineoplastic agents. We have tested the ability of $MIP-1{\alpha}$ to suppress the proliferation of stem cell line Du.528.101 in variety of active status by using $[^{3}H]-thymidine$ incorporation test. The results were as follows. 1. The effect of $MIP-1{\alpha}$ on steady-state Du.528.101 cell represented the cell growth suppression at the concentration of 10, 50, 100nM of $MIP-1{\alpha}$(P<0.001). 2. $MIP-1{\alpha}$ stimulated the proliferation of Du.528.101 cells previously treated with IL-1 at the concentration of 5, 50nM of $MIP-1{\alpha}$(P<0.01). 3. The suppression effect of MIP-1 on Du.528.101 cells at the concentration of 5, 50nM was shown when cells were treated with $MIP-1{\alpha}$ before activation with $IL-1{\beta}(P<0.01)$. 4. The growth rate of synchronized cells were slower than that of non-synchronized ones, and $MIP-1{\alpha}$ represented the similar suppression effect on both synchronized and non-synchronized cells.
