본 논문은 소프트웨어 공정에 대하여 기호코팅을 이용한 유전자 알고리즘 기반 퍼지 다항식 뉴럴 네트워크 (Genetic Algorithms-based Fuzzy Polynomial Neural Networks ; gFPNN)의 모델을 제안한다. 유전자 알고리즘에는 이진코딩, 기호코팅, 실수코딩이 있다. 제안된 모델은 스트링의 길이에 따른 해밍절벽을 기호코딩으로 극복하였다. gFPNN에 전반부 멤버쉽 함수는 삼각형과 가우시안형의 멤버쉽 함수가 사용된다. 그리고 규칙의 후반부는 간략, 선형, 이차식 그리고 변형된 이차식 함수에 의해 설계된다. 실험적 예제를 통하여 제안된 모델의 성능이 근사화 능력과 일반화 능력이 우수함을 보인다.

This study aimed to present marketing communication strategy for lifestyle groups. Consumers' preference on advertisement media/information source, advertisement appeal types, and on-line media use were examined by lifestyle groups. This study was executed by web survey and off-line survey. A total of 141 data was obtained and data were analyzed by PASW 18.0. Results were as follows: First, 4 types of lifestyle groups were made up by holistic approach; 'price oriented', 'traditional symbolic', 'positive life', and 'open mind enjoyment'. 'Positive life type' preferred every type of ads media. 'Traditional symbolic type' liked magazine and 'price oriented type' and 'open mind enjoyment type' thought off-line store display more important. For ads appeal types, 'positive life type' preferred social oriented appeal type. Every group except 'price oriented type' preferred emotional appeal type and especially 'open mind enjoyment type' liked the most emotional ads appeal type.

The purpose of this study is to trace historical changes and to show broad spectrums in landscape architectural drawing. Drawing has been both a locus of interpreting a site and a vehicle of imagining the new landscape. The designed landscape might be influenced by the way to draw in landscape design. Despite of its importance, landscape architectural drawing has rarely been discussed. Here, the drawing will be understood as theoretical issues and texts for criticism. Recently, the drawing has primarily been recognized in functional and instrumental ways. The stereotypes office drawings such as plan, section, perspective, axonometric are typical examples. Its symbolic and metaphoric dimensions have been seriously diminished. As a result, the poetic power in the designed landscape might be devastated. Composite drawing, notation are the alternative drawings to overcome the above mentioned dilemma along with the adaption of collage and photomontage. Finally, I would argue that landscape architectural drawing can be a creative tool to elicit the idea and to reveal the trace of memory. It could be also a poetic locus to postulating the vision. Designers should utilize both traditional drawing and experimental drawing in order to reconcile the instrumental representation with the symbolic representation.

This paper considers Wedding Furniture(new furniture that brides prepare for marriage) design in Korea. Social survey research methods were applied to study wedding furniture from 1960 to 1990. A questionnaires were delivered to 766 urban housewives. As to the statistical methods of the study, descriptive analysis for frequencies, and $X^2-test$ were selectively performed using SPSS PC+ program. the findings are as follows; During this period, Wedding Furniture became an essential Honsu(혼수: wedding gift) item People choose as Wedding Furnitures that serve basic functions of furniture and are traditionally symbols of wedding. They were increased both quantity and quality. Typical Wedding Furnitures of the Modern time were Jangrong(장농: wardrobe for storing clothes and bed clothes), dressing table, wardrobe chest, cupboard and bed. Wedding Furniture items have become more various in kind. Criteria for selecting Wedding Furniture were functionality, affordability, fashion, and decorativeness, tradition and symbolic of marriage. but, The symbolic importance of Wedding Furniture as Honsu will be weakened with the introduction of a variety of electronic appliances.

Optical adders using a modified signed-digit(MSD) number system have been proposed to restrict the carry propagation chain encountered in a conventional binary adder to two positions to the left. But, MSD number system must encode three different states to represent the three possible digits of MSD. In this paper, we propose the design of an optical adder based on 1-bit addition rules by using the method of symbolic substitution (SS). We show that this adder can use binary input which is used by a digital computer, as it is and be implemented by smaller system in size than MSD adder.

Extending discrete event modelling formalisms to facilitate greater symbol manipulation capabilities is important to further their use in intelligent control and design of high autonomy systems. This paper defines an extension to the DEVS formalism that facilitates symbolic expression of discrete event times by extending the time base from the real numbers to the field of linear polynomials over the reals. A simulation algorithm is developed to generate the branching trajectories resulting from the underlying non-determinism. To efficiently manage linear polynomial constraints based on feasibility checking algorithm borrowed from linear programming. The extended formalism offers a convenient means to conduct multiple, simultaneous explorations of model behaviors. Examples of application are given with consideration on fault model analysis.

정보기술의 발전으로 인해 코딩 교육의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 코딩 교육과 다양한 분야와 융합된 교육 모델이 제시되고 있으며 그 중 드론을 활용한 코딩 교육 방법이 일부 존재하지만 오락성이 강조되거나 드론 조종에 초점을 두고 있어 코딩 역량 향상에는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 학습자의 안전성을 보장하고 코딩 역량 향상을 위해 드론 교육에 적용 가능한 교육용 심볼릭 코딩 어플리케이션을 제시한다. 제시하는 어플리케이션은 사용자가 SW 설계 수준의 순서도 기반 심볼릭 코딩을 학습하고 코딩 결과를 드론 시뮬레이션 또는 실제 드론에 적용하여 확인할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 이를 통해 학습자들에게 실제적인 코딩 경험을 제공하고 창의적인 문제 해결 능력과 창의성 향상을 기대할 수 있다.

Contemporary people can form a broad social sympathy on cultural products based on the present Korean image. K-pop is good material to use to share korean culture, and fans who are enthusiastic here are increasingly demanding cultural products. The visual materials of Bangtan Boys are collected from their album covers, and a concept book, and divided into specific and symbolic images. Based on this motif, three specific images: 'bulletproof vest', 'army house + superhero extract image', and 'Wings symbol', six designs were proposed. In addition, six motifs from the music videos for recent popular songs, 'Spring Day', 'Blood, Sweat and Tears' and 'Burning Up' were selected as symbolic images. Each selected image is divided into a normal line and a special line. The former is a relatively small, stable, and popular style, and the latter is a large, original, and bold style. By drawing and transforming extracted images and motifs using Adobe Illustrator CS6 and Adobe Photoshop CS6 program, a full-width umbrella design was developed. The messages that the Bangtan Boys wants to convey through their music are put into cultural products that contemporaries can sympathize with. By developing umbrellas, a variety of items and design goods can become desirable points of consumption as high-value products by domestic and foreign fandom. If designs that incorporate various elements of future K-pop contents as well as other Korean Wave contents are developed, it will be possible to develop original design products that will form global understanding.

This study researches the current status of shrouds and analyzes the current status of the Hanji shrouds and sets its goal on suggesting the direction for a futuristic shroud design, suitable for the changing funeral culture. For this, the characteristics of traditional shrouds were studied, standard shrouds' and Hanji shrouds' current statuses were researched and analyzed to suggest the development diretion for design of Hanji shrouds. The results of the research showed that the Hanji shrouds are superior in cremation and burial, and the design expressions were more effective. Also the previously established shrouds were shown to have an increase in value through use of different materials, changing designs through various patterns, or through the added symbolic value. Thus the direction of shroud development designs based on the advantages of Hanji have been drawn out to as follows: First, traditional shrouds used the ceremonial dresses, such as official uniforms or wedding dresses, from the Tang dynasty which made it multicolored. Afterwards colors were limited with the use of hemp clothes shrouds but with the appearance of Hanji shrouds, the possibility for mulitcolors and patterns became larger. Second, Hanji is superior in its expression of colors and patterns, making designs with symbolic sides such as religion possible, to meet the demands of the customers. Third, Hanji shrouds are more environmentaly friendly than the standard shrouds in cremation and burial, and it presents a much better image of shrouds for the future society. Such development of Hanji shrouds design developments satisfies the distinct and gentrified demands of the customers and it looks to be able to suggest an opportunity for environmentaly friendly actions while preparing itself for the chaning market demands and values.

This study examined images typical to this city and explored ways to develop cultural products using these images. Researchers reviewed literature about fashion cultural products and related previous research, and then conducted a closed-ended survey to analyze universal fashion preferences. For the examination material, such a way was used as information data base and network review inside and outside the country, dissertation screen, and published media including separate volumes. The following are considering points in the developing process. First, the study identified design, color, price, practicality and quality as factors that should be taken into consideration when using the image of Gangneung. In particular, it determined that the image needs to reflect a modern sensibility while maximizing its representation of local culture. Second, Gangneung's symbolic image should incorporate the sea, Gyeongpo, and coffee. In other words, the sea, Gyeongpo, and coffee should receive top symbolic priority. Third, from a development perspective, the most appropriate items for displaying the image include t-shirts, keychains, umbrellas, or other accessories, since these items are easily available in terms of price. In sum, this study highlighted the necessity of reconsidering Gangneung's currents ymbolic image, suggesting that a new image should be developed. Developing a typical fashion cultural product image will enrich Gangneung's cultural industry and the distribution of newly designed products will improve the localeconomy.
