This thesis analyzes the Chapter "Hoyeonjigi(浩然之氣)" of Mencius(孟子), using text linguistics theory and reading theory of Korean. In this process the model of macro-structure #1∼5 are presented, according to Vandijk′s rules of macro-structure; Auslassen, Selektierne, Generalisieren, Konstruieren odor Integrieren. As a result, this certifies; First, macro-structure could make arbitrarily a several steps of macro-structure by types of text or purpose of analysis. Second, macro-structure applies various cognitive mechanisms of outer world as well as inner world. Third, a text with profound symbolism could be figured as a two-or threefolded symbolic structure. At the same time, macro-structure enables the clearer analysis of the content of the Chapter to verify the following; first, Hoyeinjigi itself is the best measure of developing "Imperturbable Mind(不動心)" Second, benevolence-righteousness(仁義) and wisdom(智) would be reached by cultivating Hoyeonjigi. Third, Mencius′ own view of language is well expressed in "Jieon(知言)", which is not only a condition for Imperturbable Mind, but also the Oriental view of language focused especially on listening in terms of language usage, not language analysis. This Mencius′ view of language has a thread connection with that of Oriental′s.

후천성 뇌손상(ABI) 환자의 인지-언어 능력은 하위 영역 간 상호작용의 맥락에서 고려되어야 하는데, 특히 화용언어는 통합적 인지 처리를 관장하는 집행기능과 직결된다. 본 연구에서는 ABI 환자를 대상으로 화용언어와 집행기능 간의 상관성을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 55세 이상의 ABI 환자군 35명(뇌졸중에 의한 실어증 21명, TBI 14명)을 대상으로 화용언어와 집행기능 관련 5개 하위 과제를 평가하였다. 그 결과, 실어증 집단은 비유언어 이해 및 기능/상징언어가 실행화 과제와 유의한 상관성을 보였고, TBI 집단은 모든 과제 간에 유의한 상관성이 있었다. 실어증 집단의 비유언어 이해는 실행화, 그리고 TBI 집단의 비유언어 표현과 기능/상징언어는 각각 계획화와 실행화를 가장 잘 예측하는 과제였다. 본 연구를 통해 ABI 이후의 인지-언어적 중재 시 상호 보완적으로 활용할 수 있는 화용언어 및 집행기능 과제들을 제시할 수 있었다.

Environmental design should be based on the positive theory, a researcher structured symbolic aesthetics on the basis of positive perception theory. Symbolic aesthetics by ecological theory of perception, human preference is related to existence and the formation of place-identity and cognitive map is dealt importantly in this study. Symbolic aesthetics is a study on environmental meaning and a researcher understood the operation of environmental meaning by regarding symbology as a methodological frame and defined architecture as a visual language system after discussing the importance of signified.

This research was conducted to define the different conventional meanings of face painting, we can come across easily in recent days, in different times and different cultures. The conclusions of the research are as followed. First, the face painting was mainly done for the symbolic function. Second, in un-cultivated groups, face painting was one way of body art expression and in some cases, the color and the pattern was the tool to give a symbolic massage that was more powerful than a language. The characteristics of the patterning was that they adopted wide range of patterns include geriatrics, abstract, animals, plants and especially the abstract patterns have the groups unique symbolic meanings such as specific pattern appears guard god which was the effort of having a wholeness with the pattern. Third, it is known that in un-cultivated cultures, face painting has a symbolic function whereas in modern society, there is an emphasis on a decorative function. Lastly, the various expressions of modern body decorations are seen as a result of social/cultural states of the settlement ethnic culture and the modern life style of the people who want to have direct and active opinions and individualize and differentiate themselves.

도덕과수업은 도덕이라는 추상적 대상을 구체적으로 표현하여 전하면서, 정서가 담재된 도덕적 의미의 발생을 추구한다. 이 측면에 주목하면, 도덕과수업은 예술적 상징 언어와 닮음이 있으며, 특히 시적 상징과 닮음이 있다. 시는 예술적 상징 언어의 전형적 양식이며, 시에서 추상적 대상의 의미를 수용 가능하게 표현하는 대표적 표현방식이 시적 상징이기 때문이다. 시적 상징은 시적 성찰을 언어로 표현하지만, 동시에 언어의 한계를 넘어선 형이상학적 의미를 전한다. 이를 위해 시적 상징은 불가시적인 형이상학적 원관념을 암시하는 가시적인 구체적 보조관념을 겉으로 드러낸다. 원관념을 은폐하고 보조관념을 드러내는 시적 상징은 동일성, 암시성, 다의성, 입체성, 문맥성, 전체성 등을 특성으로 한다. 이러한 특성을 가진 시적 상징이 시인의 창조적 상상력과 결합되어 개인적 상징으로 나타나고, 그것이 독자의 상상력과 결합되어 시적 의미로 체험된다. 시적 상징으로서의 도덕과수업은 이러한 시적 체험과 유사한 학습 경험을 제공하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해서 도덕과수업은 논리적이고 산문적인 설명보다는 도덕적 의미 발생이 가능한 상징적 형식으로 구성되어야 한다. 이러한 구성을 위해서는 지도요소를 구체화하는 상징적 매개체 찾고, 상징적 매개체의 도덕적 의미를 다양하게 검색하면서, 그 도덕적 의미에 대한 해석이 가능하도록 수업을 구성해야 한다. 이렇게 구성된 도덕과수업이 시적 상징을 닮는다면, 그 수업은 좋은 시에서 시인이 표현한 주제를 독자가 공감적으로 수용하듯이 교사가 표현한 교육내용을 학생은 정서가 수반된 도덕적 의미로 학습할 수 있다.

Taking the issues of inequity and power between NES and NNES teachers as a starting point, this qualitative study explores the way the widespread belief of the native speaker fallacy manifests itself in one NNES teacher's teaching life and is linked to the teacher's understanding of herself as an English teacher. Guided by critical applied linguistics (Pennycook, 2001) and using Bourdieu's (1991) theorization of symbolic violence, I conducted an instrumental case study (Stake, 1995) in an ESL writing class at a US university. I collected data through classroom observations and interviews over a nine-month period and analyzed the data using the constant comparison method (Glaser and Strauss, 1967). The findings illustrate the ways the dominant ideology of the native speaker fallacy works to maintain and reproduce the status quo unequal relation between NES and NNES teachers by making all parties involved believe in the artificial sociocultural arrangements that favor NES teachers as legitimate. The findings direct our attention to the importance of critical teacher education that will enable future TESOL professionals to engage in critical reflection on diverse issues and envision transformative change. The findings, in particular, point to the need for language support for NNES teachers in TESOL teacher education.

자연언어처리 문제에서 딥러닝 모델이 좋은 성능을 보이고 있고 딥러닝 결과는 구조화된 결과를 내놓는 경우가 많다. 딥러닝 모델 결과가 구조적인 형태를 가지는 경우 후처리 통해 특정 구조에 맞는 제약을 가해주는 경우가 일반적이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 제약을 규칙에 기반하지 않고 직접 학습을 통해 얻고자 하였다.

This paper describes and implements a design method of register allocation as a required module of RISC compiler systems. It compiles a C program to a machine-independent intermediate language, translates each variable into symbolic register. After local allocation process for the symbolic registers, global register allocation is executed by applying the graph coloring algorithm. This register allocation phase is designed for a system with the large register file like RISC machines.

The Landscape drawing is used as main media in landscape design process like the language in daily life for human. Designers input many intentions and meaningful words in design process through landscape drawing. The common purpose of landscape drawing is to represent reality effectively, even though it has variable visual forms and materiality. The representation in landscape drawing in metaphorical as well as visual and functional. But current tendency is inclined to use landscape drawing in a functional aspect for visual representation and the landscape drawing is utilized straight-forwardly rather than metaphorically for clear communication. Such recognition on landscape drawing results from the difficulty to accept the symbolic aspect of the drawing. The difficulty makes the utilization and the interpretation of landscape drawing stay at conventional level in following visible factors. For the sake of solving the difficulty this study considers landscape drawing as the text that contains readable objects and symbolic words. This study presents layer-methods for reading a landscape drawing as a text; situational and contextural reading, iconological reading and reading the subject of drawing.

No one would deny that, despite the fact that they are the central factor in any given communication system, language signals have their limitations. For example, language cannot keep up with the radical changes that occur in the world and its ideas. The present meaning of a language signal is always pegged to the past when it was originally created. This limitation in turn puts limitations on the way we conceive of the world, and we have no choice but to watch the world through the refracted, darkly colored lens called language. Lee Sang′s was well aware of these limitations, and his works reflect his suspicion of language. This paper argues that Lee Sang′s "Ogamdo 1" is a poetic commentary on the ambiguity of language signals; that "Ogamdo 2" is an accusation of the stationary nature of language signals; ; and, finally, that "Sune-kwanhan-gakseo (Treatise on Lines) 7" is a poetic expression of Lee Sang′s negative view of the symbolic limitation of, and the fragmentary nature of, language signals.
