적응형 필터링 기법을 이용한 회전형 시선제어시스템의 진동 저감 및 영상 주파수노이즈 저감 기법 (An Adaptive Filtering Technique for Vibration Reduction of a Rotational LOS Control System and Frequency Noise Reduction of an Imaging System)

  • In mechatronic systems using electric signals to drive control systems, driving signals including the frequency band of the unwanted signals, such as resonant frequencies and noise frequencies, can affect the accuracy of the controlled system and can cause serious damage to the system due to the resonance phenomenon of the mechatronic system. An LOS (Line of Sight) control unit is used to automatically rotate the gimbal system with a video imaging system generally mounted on modern aerial vehicles. However, it still suffers from natural frequency variation problems due to variations of operational temperature. To prevent degradation in performance, this paper proposes an adaptive filtering technique based on real-time noise analysis and adaptive notch-filtering for LOS control systems, and verifies how our proposed method maintains the LOS stabilization performance. Additionally, this filtering technique can be applied to the image noise filtering of the video imaging system. It is designed to reduce image noises generated by switching circuits or power sources. The details of design procedures of the proposed filtering technique and the experiments for the performance verification are described in this paper.

  • 본 논문에서는 차세대 고속철도 구동 인버터 시스템의 고조파로 인한 전자기적 소음을 줄이기 위해 RCF-PWM(Random Carrier Frequency Pulse Width Modulation)을 적용한 인버터 구동시스템을 개발하였다. RCF-PWM 방식은 인버터 스위칭 주파수를 전력용 반도체의 최대 스위칭 주파수와 최소 스위칭 주파수 사이에서 임의적으로 변화시키며 PWM을 수행하는 방법이다. 본 연구의 타당성을 확인하기위해서 RCF-PWM이 적용된 차세대 고속전철 시스템을 설계하여 MATLAB/Simulink 기반의 시뮬레이터를 개발하고 이를 이용하여 일정한 스위칭 주파수를 사용하는 정규적인 SVPWM 방식과 RCF-PWM 방식의 시험결과를 비교 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 높은 변조지수 M 영역에서는 소음 및 고조파 스펙트럼의 광대역화 효과가 저하되는 2상 RCD-PWM(Random Centered Distribution PWM)기법의 문제점을 개선하고자, 듀얼 영 벡터 모드를 갖는 2상 RCD(Dual Zero Vector Modes RCD : DZRCD)기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 2상 DZRCD기법은 변조지수 M=0.8을 기준으로 하여 M이 0.8보다 큰 영역에서는 영 벡터로 $V_0$(111)를 선택하고, 0.8보다 작은 영역에서는 $V_0$(000)를 선택한다. 제안된 방법을 16비트 마이크로 콘트롤러인 C-167기반의 유도 모터 구동 시스템에 적용해 본 결과, M이 0.8이상인 영역에서 모터의 전압 / 전류 및 스위칭 소음 스펙트럼의 광대역화 특성이 종전의 방법과 비하여 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • There is a noticeable hum from the inverter board of LCD TV when in operation. In this study, we investigate the source and the characteristics of this noise for the inverter board of LCD TV using measurement of vibration and noise. Modal analysis of vibration and noise is visualized for identification of noise sources and transmission vibration. The main source of noise was the transformer of the LCD TV inverter. A noise reduction was achieved by damping the structural elements.

  • This paper describes a principle of the conducted noise separator which can separate the conducted noise to the common mode and differential mode(normal mode), and presents the transfer characteristics of the separator designed and manufactured. We separated the conducted noise generated from switched mode converter to the CM and DM conducted noise, and also analyzed the source and path of conducted noise in the converter by the conducted noise separator. Since we could easily get the characteristics of the CM and DM conducted noise by the separator, we could efficiently determine the contermeasures for the reduction of the conducted noise and establish the foundation of the systematic procedure for the design of low pass filter.

  • The power conversion system must be increased switching frequency in order to achieve a small size, a light weight and a low noise. This paper proposes a skillful and a concise PWM DC-DC converter employing both zero voltage and zero current high frequency switching(ZVCS) operation. The Proposal ZVCS circuit is composed with resonant circuit using active resonant condenser. And this circuit provides switches with ZVS and ZCS by quasi resonant only that switching transients appear. This operation results in reduction of stress and losses in the power devices and resonant components. Some simulation results are included to confirm the validity of the analytical results.

  • A new suboptimal PWM is proposed, intended particularly for the reduction of acoustic noise and harmonics of the output current in the inverter-fed induction motor drive system. This strategy is based of the Regular PWM and applied optimal techniqe. And it could solve a problem that computation time is very much when switching strategy is determined at the Optimal PWM. In case that the number of switching increases infinitely, this strategy could determine the switching pattern, and can realize Online, Real time of microprocessor. Also, this strategy is applied to 1(Hp), three phase induction motor, and compared with the other PWMs. From the results, the validity of this strategy could be verified.

  • This paper is to demonstrate the effectiveness of one point grounding in support of ESS protection. One point grounding provides for the dispatching of excess energy for protection of switching equipment and personnel from lightning discharge hazards and for a natural sink for noise from atmospheric lightning and power transients. In most ESS installations there are a number of different items that must be maintained at a common ground potential for safety, fault protection or noise reduction. The items typically consist of power systems, heating and ventilating systems, distributing frames, repeating equipmets, switching equipments, etc. Grounding system of an ESS Office is most effective when all the ground points are connected to a single, common earth. The one point grounding prvides a common reference potential, keeping all the items of telecommunications facility free from the earth current and voltage hazards.

  • In this paper, a new Three-Phase Lead-Lag Random Pulse Position PWM(LL-RPWM) scheme is proposed and implemented for decreasing audible acoustic noise of motor drives. In the proposed RPWM(Random PWM), each of three phase pulses is located randomly in each switching interval. Based on the space vector modulation technique, the duty ratio of the pulses is calculated. Along with the randomization of the PWM pulses, we can obtain the effects of spread spectra of voltage, current as in the case of randomly changed switching frequency. To verify the validity of the proposed LL-RPWM, the simulation and experimental study was tried. Along with the randomization PWM pulses, the space vector modulation is also executed in the C167 micro-controller. The simulation and experimental results show that the voltage and current harmonics are spread to a wide band area and that the audible acoustic noise is reduced by the proposed RPWM method.

  • 종래의 충전기 및 통신용 전원장치에 있어서 입력 역률을 개선시키기 위해 고 역률 컨버터(Power Factor Correction Circuit)가 제안되어 적용되고 있고, 이들 대부분 회로는 Hard Switching을 이용한 정류회로로, 입력역률 1제어와 입력전류를 정현파형을 만들 수 있지만 Switching Noise에 의한 전자파장해(EMI)와 스위칭손실 등의 문제를 안고 있다. 또한, 절연된 DC 출력전압을 얻기 위해서는 고 역률 컨버터 후단에 절연된 DC/DC 컨버터가 적용되어야 함으로써, 주 회로 및 제어회로가 다단으로 구성되는 등 복잡화되는 단점이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 역률보정회로(PFC)를 갖는 절연된 Single Stage 무손실 스너버적용 고주파 소프트 스위칭 컨버터를 제안하고자 한다.
