3상 SRM 구동용 4-스위치 인버터 PWM 제어 알고리즘 (Control Algorithm for 4-Switch Inverter of 3-Phase SRM)

  • Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) has become popular for industrial application, particularly for low medium drives due to the advantages of SRM over the other ac motors: SRM can be manufactured with low cost because it has a simple structure. But, asymmetric bridge converter that generally is used for driving requires two discrete switching devices and freewheeling diodes per phase, and cause the SRM drives to be complicated and to increase the cost of overall system. Therefore, this paper suggests a new type of 4-switch converter for SRM. 4-switch converter topology is studied to provide a possibility for the realization of low cost 3-phase SRM drive system. For effective utilization of the developed system, a new current control algorithm is designed and implemented to produce the desired dynamic performance. With the developed power conversion circuit and control scheme, it is expected that the proposed system can be widely used in commercial applications with reduced system cost.

  • This paper suggests a new type of 4-switch inverter for switched reluctance motor drives. 4-switch Inverter topology is studied to provide possibility for the realization of cost of 3-phase SRM drive system. We used Y-connection and two-phase exciting method. For effective utilization of the developed system, a direct current controlled PWM scheme is designed and implemented to produce the desired dynamic. We solve to balance the neutral point of Y-connection by the direct current controlled PWM and examine the performance of proposed system. With the algorithm and developed control scheme, is expected that the proposed system can be widely used in commercial applications with a reduced system cost.

  • The switched reluctance motor(SRM) drive system provides a good adjustable speed and torque characteristics. However, it also has some drawbacks such as relatively high torque ripple and acoustic noise which are caused by the torque production mechanism. To reduce torque ripple and to have precise speed control, PLL technique is adopted. The PLL system in conjunction with dynamic dwell angle control scheme has good speed regulation characteristics. Digital control system with a 80c196kc micro-controller is used to be realized this drive system. Test results show that the suggested control system has the ability of dynamic and precise speed control.

  • The switched reluctance motor(SRM) drive system provides a good adjustable speed and torque characteristics. However, because of the torque production mechanism, it also has some disadvantage such as higher torque ripple and fluctuation in speed. To reduce torque ripple and to control speed precisely, digital signal processor(DSP) is adopted. The DSP TMS320F241 was used to be realized this drive system. Test results show that the suggested control system has the ability of dynamic and precise speed control.

  • 스위치드 릴럭턴스 모터의 소음과 진동의 원인은 토오크의 불균일 특성에 기인한다고 볼 수 있다. 토오크는 회전자의 각도에 따라 법선 성분인 radial torque 와 접선성분인 tangential torque 로 분해될 수 있고 그 비율은 주기적으로 변화한다. 이 가운데 소음, 진동의 원인이 되는 성분은 radial torque 이며, 이 성분은 모터 구조의 설계에 따라 다른 특성을 나타낸다. 본 논문은 이에 대한 분석에서 스위치드 릴럭턴스 모터의 실용화 설계의 한 방법을 제시하였다.

  • In this paper, a backstepping speed controller applied in SRM is presented. The driver of SRM is generally planned with a PI controller. A PI controller is becomes a satisfied structure in the system. it is used in position and speed control loops. However, when the system parameter uncertainties large inertia and load disturbance, it will not be able to expect a satisfied efficiency. Therefore, a backstepping control law was researched, which is able application even to a linear system as well as a nonlinear and it is more excellent than a origin adaptive control law. In this paper, a backstepping control law applied the drive system of SRM was used in the drive controller. The computer simulation result clearly show that the applied backstepping controller can track the speed reference signal generated by internal signals.

  • 본 논문은 SRM 의 가변속 구동을 위한 디지털 방식 인버터에 관한 연구이다. 전동기의 속도제어를 위해 고정스위치각과 가변전압제어방식을 사용하였으며 이는 평탄 상전류를 얻어 토오크 맥동을 저감하고 상제어를 위한 위상각 제어를 하지 않아 제어시스템을 단순하게하는 장점을 가진다. 8097마이크로콘트롤러를 이용하여 제어시스템을 디지털화, 소형화하고 제어의 유연성을 높였다.

  • Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) drive system is known to provide good torque characteristics and high efficiency drive. However, speed variation caused by higher torque ripple is one of main drawback. The Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) technique in conjunction with dynamic dwell angle control has good speed regulation characteristics. In this paper, appropriate advance angle control for high efficiency drive and PLL technique for accurate speed control is proposed. A TMS320F240 DSP is used to realize this drive system. Test results show that the system has good dynamic and precise speed control ability as well as high efficiency.

  • This paper presents a position sensorless control system of Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) using Neural Network. The basic algorithm of this scheme is based on the flux linkage characteristic according to the phase currents and rotor position. A sufficient experimental data was used for neural network training. The proposed position sensorless control system was realized using TMS320F240 DSP. The experimental result shows some good results, and verifies the possibility of this algorithm.
