There are three important components in tissue engineering: the cells, signaling factors (cytokines and growth factors), and scaffolds. To obtain finely engineered tissue, all three components should perform their individual functions and be fully integrated with each other. For the past few years, we have studied the characteristics of photodimerizable HA (CHA)/alginate (CA) composite materials. CHA/CA complex hydrogels, which were irradiated under UV light and, then treated with calcium ions, were found to have good biocompatibility, mechanical properties and water resistance for implantable tissue scaffolds. In this study, we introduced a cell growth factor (basic fibroblast growth factor; bFGF) into the CHA/CA scaffolds and studied its release behavior. We also introduced tetracycline hydrochloride and flurbiprofen into the same scaffolds as model activation factors and evaluated their release behaviors from the scaffolds. The drug release rate from the materials was influenced by various parameters, such as the degree of crosslinking, the cross linker type, the physico-chemical properties of the drug, and the amount of the drug in the polymer. The results indicated that the negatively charged CHA/CA composite materials showed sustained release behavior and that HA has a particularly strong negative charge, making it attractive toward tetracycline hydrochloride and bFGF, but repulsive toward flurbiprofen.

Certain professionals face repeated exposure to traumatic events throughout their career. Although typically linked to pathological outcomes, research has identified sustained positive benefits and posttraumatic growth (PTG) as consistent posttrauma outcomes in occupational exposed to trauma. This study investigated the association of occupation, subjective psychological distress to a traumatic event, and demographic characteristics with posttraumatic growth in emergency workers (firefighters, rescue, and ambulance personnel), subway operators, and child protective service workers. The study led to the following conclusions: First, all three groups are risk groups of PTSD, especially, subway operators demonstrated the highest degree. Child protective service workers demonstrated the highest degree of PTG and emergency workers and subway operators followed respectively. Second, vicarious trauma and PTG were significantly correlated, in particular, invasion and avoidance were more highly correlated. Third, multivariate analysis revealed that occupation, invasion, avoidance, religion, and sex were significantly associated with PTG. Discussion addresses the need to serve mental health service and to apply concept of PTG for occupations exposed to trauma.

While the current literature has considered business group as a temporary form of organizations that only exists under the developing contries with under-developed financial markets. Chaebol, a form of businss group in Korea, has sustained as a major organization form in Korea. To fill the current gap in the literature and practice, I suggest a theoretical model of Chaebol scion's entrepreneurial firm growth mechanisms. First, I posit that social, structural, and psychological factors motivate Chaebol scions to engage in entrepreneurship. Second, I suggest that five mechanisms, including business opportunity, financial support, recruitment, marketing, and inter-organizational collaboration, will facilitate entrepreneurial firm growth. By constituting a model of Chaebol scion's entrepreneurial firm growth, the current theoretical paper advances the literature on business group and entrepreneurship with indicating Korean Chaebol's new expansion possibilities.

This study aims to propose the policy direction for agriculture and fisheries heritage system in Korea. The agriculture and fisheries heritage system is defined as traditional agricultural activity systems and landscapes which should be preserved, sustained and handed down and evolved from the co-adaptation of a community with its cultual, agricultural, biological environment. The key characteristics of the agriculture and fisheries heritage system of Korea are as follows; Firstly, this system designates software and hardware factor of heritage in integrative manner. secondly, this system seeks to preserve and utilize such heritages simultaneously. Thirdly, this system intends to strengthen the role of people in rural area. Fourthly, this system makes use of new engine of growth in agricultural community. This system is designed by comparing and reviewing several related domestic and foreign systems including FAO' GIAHS.

A novel preparation method for core/shell nanoparticles with protein drug-loaded lipid core was designed and characterized. The lipid core is composed of lecithin and protein drug and the polymeric shell is composed of Pluronics (poly (ethylene oxide)-poly (propylene oxide)-poly(ethylene oxide) triblock copolymer, F-127 For the application of core/shell nanoparticles as a protein drug carrier, lysozyme and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) were loaded into the core/shell nanoparticles by electrostatic interaction and the drug release pattern was observed by manipulating the polymeric shell.

This study focused on the validity of Imago couple therapy's contents and the effects of application of the Imago couple therapy model. The participated subjects were 38 graduate students and their spouses. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, the types of couple relations that formed and sustained marital relations after growth could be predicted by the early childhood relationships between the subjects when they were children and their parents. Second, the marital conflicts and frustrations could be healed by the 'parent-child dialogue' and 'guided imagery'. Third, Imago couple therapy was effective for couple counseling to improve the areas of marital relationships, especially marital intimacy, marital communication, communication skills for marital conflicts, mutual respect, gender role, sexual satisfaction, time together, and decision-making. Fourth, Couple's Dialogue was a powerful tool for couple and parent-child relationships as well as general counseling practices.

E-learning has the potentials to provide educational publicity and equality, and has been deployed rapidly in many areas of our society. Growth of e-learning market is also rapid and sustained. However, for e-learning to be a good solution, enough contents should be provided, for which sharing limited contents in the early deployment stage should be necessary. In this paper, we survey some activities about contents sharing. On the other hand, there have been many complaint from e-learning about its effectiveness. Therefore, in this paper, based on the poll results on concentration and satisfaction of e-learning, we also study practical ways to improve studying efficiency of e-learners.

Multinational corporations (MNCs) leverage global locations for efficient production and sustained growth, and move significant foreign direct investments globally, particularly into emerging economies. MNCs also engage in entrepreneurial ecosystems of host countries for strategic benefits and impact the ecosystem as well. Of late, MNCs are increasingly entering into emerging economies like India through foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows and they are playing a vital role in start-up promotion in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Therefore, we examine the role of MNCs and its impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystems in India by exploring a symbiotic relationship between MNCs and startups. We use a case-based method to ascertain and analyze specific benefits that emerge from such symbiotic relationships and draw implications for startups in India's technology entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Various mobile Internet services have been commercialized these days and mobile banking service is considered one of the most potential business models. However, the market growth has been limited since the implementation environment is different from that of wired-internet business services. This study is investigating the effect of mobile channel preference, perceived usability, perceived value on sustained use of mobile banking service and discussed the direction of future research at the end.

Nonparametric Bayesian methods have seen rapid and sustained growth over the past 25 years. We present a gentle introduction to the methods, motivating the methods through the twin perspectives of consistency and false consistency. We then step through the various constructions of the Dirichlet process, outline a number of the basic properties of this process and move on to the mixture of Dirichlet processes model, including a quick discussion of the computational methods used to fit the model. We touch on the main philosophies for nonparametric Bayesian data analysis and then reanalyze a famous data set. The reanalysis illustrates the concept of admissibility through a novel perturbation of the problem and data, showing the benefit of shrinkage estimation and the much greater benefit of nonparametric Bayesian modelling. We conclude with a too-brief survey of fancier nonparametric Bayesian methods.
