고무차륜 경량전철 국산화 대차의 주행안정성 향상을 위한 동특성 해석 (Dynamic Analysis for Improvement of Running Stability of Rubber Tired AGT Localization Bogie)

  • The LRT(light rail transit) system, which has medium transport capacity between subway and bus is an advanced transportation system. It has many benefits like chap construction and operational cost down through driverless and flexible route planning. The rubber tired AGT(K-AGT) is a kind of LRT, which has rubber wheels and side guides. The side guides has many advantages, but brings vibration and noise problems from the friction between the guide rail and the wheels. This is the major source for the of passengers' discomfort. The purpose of this paper is to analyze dynamic characteries and running stability of the rubber tired AGT localization bogie if the AGT's speed is increased from 70 km/h to 80 km/h. The current design parameters of bogie suspension, as it is designed, was examined to satisfy the comfort index of the railway vehicle in performance test.

Effects of Chitosan Coating for Liposomes as an Oral Carrier

  • The chitosan-coated liposomes (chitosomes) were designed to improve the stability in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and to enhance the efficacy for oral drug delivery of liposomes. The phosphatic acid (PA)-incorporated anionic liposomes were surface-coated with water soluble chitosan (WSC) by electro-ionic interaction. The shape of the chitosomes observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was spherical in all the formulations and the coating layer by WSC could be founded through TEM images. The mean size and the zeta potential values of the chitosomes increased significantly with depending on the content of WSC added for coating the liposomes. The stability of the chitosomes in the GI tract was confirmed through the change of relative turbidity of the liposomal suspension. The plain liposomes (plasomes) suspension without adding WSC clearly showed the change of relatively turbidity in simulated gastric fluid (SGF), while the change degree of turbidity of the chitosomes in the SGF decreased as increasing of WSC content added for coating liposome. In the 5-CF release study from the plasomes and chitosomes, the plasomes released >90% of the initial 5-CF content at 4 h of release measurement. In contrast, the chitosomes released below 40% of initial content of 5-CF. In conclusion, these results indicate that the chitosomes can be used as a potential carrier for effective oral drug delivery.

수열합성법으로 합성된 나노 SmxCe1-xO2-2/x 분말의 수계 분산 (Dispersion of SmxCe1-xO2-2/x Nanoparticles which is Synthesized by Hydrothermal Process in Aqueous System)

  • Dispersion stability of the $Sm_xCe_{1-x}O_{2-2/x}$ nanoparticles, which was produced by hydrothermal process, was studied in aqueous suspension using ESA (Eletrokinetic Sonic Amplitude). The average particle size of the synthesized $Sm_xCe_{1-x}O_{2-2/x}$ at nanoparticles was about $5{\pm}2nm$. The dispersion and rheological behavior of the $Sm_xCe_{1-x}O_{2-2/x}$ nanoparticles aqueous suspension was investigated using $NH_4OH\;and\;HNO_3$ as a disperse agent. The colloidal stability of aqueous suspensions with $Sm_xCe_{1-x}O_{2-2/x}$ nanoparticles at different pH values has been investigated by means of zeta potential, average particle size, and the distribution of synthesized $Sm_xCe_{1-x}O_{2-2/x}$ nanoparticles. The isoelectric point of the $Sm_xCe_{1-x}O_{2-2/x}$ nanoparticles was at pH around 11 and the value of zeta potential was at its maximum near pH 6.5.

The influence of vehicles on the flutter stability of a long-span suspension bridge

  • The presence of traffic on a slender long-span bridge deck will modify the cross-section profile of the bridge, which may influence the flutter derivatives and in turn, the critical flutter wind velocity of the bridge. Studies on the influence of vehicles on the flutter derivatives and the critical flutter wind velocity of bridges are rather rare as compared to the investigations on the coupled buffeting vibration of the wind-vehicle-bridge system. A typical streamlined cross-section for long-span bridges is adopted for both experimental and analytical studies. The scaled bridge section model with vehicle models distributed on the bridge deck considering different traffic flow scenarios has been tested in the wind tunnel. The flutter derivatives of the modified bridge cross section have been identified using forced vibration method and the results suggest that the influence of vehicles on the flutter derivatives of the typical streamlined cross-section cannot be ignored. Based on the identified flutter derivatives, the influence of vehicles on the flutter stability of the bridge is investigated. The results show that the effect of vehicles on the flutter wind velocity is obvious.

Ni 나노 분말을 이용한 안정한 현탁액 제조 및 특성 (Preparation and Characterization of Stable Suspensions of Ni Nanoparticles)

  • In this study, the effects of the dispersants, i.e., Hypermer KD-2 and poly(l-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP), and their concentration on the dispersion stability of Ni nanoparticles ($10nm{\sim}40nm$) in ethanol were investigated by using a visual inspection, a transmission profile (Turbiscan), and a zeta potential measurement. The transmission profiles measured by Turbiscan showed that the particle size increased over the entire height of the sample for suspensions with both the dispersants without showing any particle coalescence and sedimentation. The visual inspection also confirmed that the Ni suspensions with Hypermer KD-2 and PVP were very stable for more than a year. The zeta potential values varied from positive to negative with increasing the dispersant's concentration. The dispersion stability of the suspensions was not affected by both the dispersant's concentration and the zeta potential values. The observed suspension stability of Ni nanoparticles was attributed to the steric effect for the Hypermer KD-2 and to the bridging effect for the PVP.

  • The vehicle suspension system plays a very important part related with vehicle ride and handling. To improve the vehicle ride and handling many researches have been progressed from various damping parameter tuning techniques to the development of the electronic controlled suspension systems. In this paper, as one of the ride performance improvement a disturbance observer(DOB) based control system is applied to the quarter car vehicle model in order to show that the DOB can obtain good vibration isolation characteristics. First, the robust stability criterion for the DOB is introduced in detail, and then how DOB is applied to the 1/4 car vehicle model is represented, and finally to confirm the effectiveness of the DOB in vehicle ride performance improvement a computer simulation is carried out for various driving conditions.

  • The ROM (roll over mitigation) system is a next-generation suspension system that can improve vehicle-driving stability and ride comfort. Currently, mass-produced safety systems, such as ESC (electronic stability control) and ECS (electronic control suspension), enable measurements of longitudinal and lateral acceleration as well as yaw rate through inertial sensor clusters, but they lack direct measurements of the roll angle. Therefore, in this paper, a roll angle estimation algorithm from ESC system sensors and tire normal force has been proposed. Furthermore, this study presents a method for roll over mitigation force distribution between the front and rear of a ROM system. Performance and reliability of the roll angle estimation and roll over mitigation force distribution were investigated through simulations. The simulation results showed that the proposed control algorithm and strategy are reliable during vehicle rollovers.

고농도 용액에서 Layered Copper Hydroxides의 합성 및 특성 (Synthesis and Characterization of Layered Copper Hydroxides in Highly Concentrated Solution)

  • LCHs는 높은 구리함량 뿐만 아니라 고결정도, 음이온교환능력 및 규칙적인 층상 구조 등을 가지고 있어 살균제로 활용가능성이 높다. 본 연구에서는 최초로 고농에서 LCHs를 합성하였으며, 다양한 반응인자에 따른 결정학적 및 물리적 특성을 규명하여 최적조건을 설정하였다. $Cu(NO_3)_2$ 용액에 NaOH 용액을 첨가하여 합성된 LCHs의 결정성은 후숙시간에 따라 약간 증가하였으나, 0.5시간 이후에는 거의 변화가 없었다. 반응온도에 따른 LCHs의 XRD 피크의 강도 및 패턴은 매우 유사하였으나, LCHs 현탁액의 안정성은 반응온도가 증가할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. LCHs의 결정성은 반응용액의 pH가 높아질수록 증가하였으나, pH 9.0 이상에서는 오히려 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한, 반응용액의 pH에 따라 LCHs 현탁액의 색상과 안정성이 다양하게 변화되었다. $Cu(NO_3)_2$ 농도가 증가할수록 반응용액의 점성이 증가되었으며, LCHs의 결정성은 상대적으로 낮아졌다. NaOH 용액 5.0 M에서 합성된 LCHs의 결정성은 뚜렷하게 감소하였으나, 현탁액의 안정성은 NaOH 농도가 높아질수록 증가하였다. 그러므로 LCHs의 최적 합성조건은 후숙 2시간, 반응온도 $25^{\circ}C$, 반응용액의 pH 6.0, $Cu(NO_3)_2$ 및 NaOH 용액의 농도는 3.0 M 이었다. 최적 반응조건에서 합성된 LCHs는 골격구조를 형성하는 OH, 층간의 $H_2O$$NO_3$로부터 기인하는 흡수 band가 FT-IR 분석에서 뚜렷하게 나타났다. LCHs의 탈수 및 결정구조의 파괴는 $206{\sim}246^{\circ}C$의 매우 좁은 온도범위에서 발생하였으며, 무게감량이 31.8%로서 이론적인 값인 33.6%와 비슷하게 나타났다. $25^{\circ}C$에서 합성된 LCHs는 0.2~0.8 ${\mu}m$ 크기의 plate 형태를 나타내었으나, 반응온도 및 반응용액의 pH가 증가할수록 입자 크기가 증가할 뿐만 아니라 그들의 입자모양도 변화되었다. 무기 구리제의 병원균에 대한 작용기작은 식물체 표면에 처리된 구리제가 건조 후 엷은 막을 형성하고, 공기 중의 이산화탄소나 탄산을 함유한 빗물, 이슬, 식물체 또는 미생물의 분비물에 의해 가용성의 구리염으로 변화되어 방출된 구리이온이 병원균과 접촉하여 효과를 발현한다. 따라서 작물보호제 처리 시 식물체 표면 흡착이 증가할수록 방제효율은 증가되며, 일반적으로 입자의 크기가 작을수록 식물표면 흡착은 증가한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서 합성된 HDCS는 합성공정이 간단하며, 고농도에서도 합성이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 입자크기가 작고 현탁액의 안정성이 높기 때문에 구리 살균제로서의 활용가능성이 높은 것으로 판단되었다.

분산 안정성을 이용한 나노 $Y_{2}O_{3}-CeO_{2}$ 소결체의 제조 (Fabrication of Nano $Y_{2}O_{3}-CeO_{2}$ Sintered Body Using Dispersion Stability)

  • 나노 $Y_2O_3-CeO_2$ 시스템의 분산안정성을 콜로이드 계면화학을 이용하여 조사하였다. 수계 슬립캐스팅으로 $Y_2O_3$가 첨가된 $CeO_2$의 성형체를 제조하였다. 분말과 유기첨가물 사이의 서스펜션의 분산안정성은 ESA를 이용한 서스펜션의 전기영동학적인 거동을 통하여 구하였다. 입자들의 이동도는 음이온계 분산제 1wt% 첨가 시 가장 크게 향상되었다. 산성영역에서의 $Y^{3+}$ 이온의 해리로 인해 슬러리의 수소이온 농도는 pH 7.0 이하로 내려가지 않았다. $Y_2O_3-CeO_2$ 시스템에서 서스펜션의 최적 조건은 음이온계 분산제를 1wt% 첨가하고 pH를 11.0으로 고정하는 것이고, 슬립캐스팅하여 1400$^{\circ}$C에서 2시간 소결하였다. 소결체는 98% 이상의 상대밀도를 나타내었으며, 표면 미세구조에서뿐만 아니라 단면의 깊이 방향에서도 Y원소의 분포가 균일하였다.

실차 시험을 통한 ER 현가장치의 성능평가 (Rerformance Evaluation of ER Suspensions Under Field Test)

  • This paper presents performance characteristics of a semi-active suspension featuring continuously variable ER (electro-rheological) dampers. These are evaluated through the field test of a passeng er car. Four ER dampers (two for front and two for rear part) are manufactured and their field-dependent damping properties are experimentally investigated. The damping force responses to step input fields are also identified by employing small size of high voltage amplifiers which are made adaptable to the field test. A skyhook controller considering the vertical, pitch and roll motions is formulated and incorporated with a car to be tested. The field test is then undertaken in order to evaluate both comfortability and steering stability showing bump, dive and squat responses.
