산업공학 학부교육의 탐색:졸업생 설문조사 결과를 중심으로 (Exploring Undergraduate Education of Industrial Engineers:Result of Survey for Graduates with Industrial Engineering Degree)

  • The main purpose of this research is to find out whether curriculums of industrial engineering (IE) departments meet the demand of IE graduates working in various fields. The research was conducted as an online questionnaire survey selecting IE Graduates working in industries as practising engineers. 1,324 participants were validated among 1,477 participants. 13 fields were selected and used in the survey. Those were; 1) Mathematical statistics, 2) Computer, 3) Purchase, 4) Production system, 5) Logistics, 6) Marketing, 7) Monetary, 8) Experiment methods, 9) Operations Research (OR), 10) Human Factors, 11) Quality, 12) Engineering management, and 13) Information systems. Using the 5-scale Likert rating, each education subject was assessed both in terms of its usefulness in practices and the amount it being taught in school. As a result, courses such as motion/time study, linear programming that IE has traditionally focused showed less usefulness in practices while it is taught in relatively large amount in schools. However, courses such as 6 sigma, CRM which are closely related to industrial practices showed high usefulness in practices compared with low degree of teaching in school. This was the first ever large scalesurvey conducted for IE graduates in Korea. The result of survey displayed many helpful information on current status and future direction of IE education in Korea.

청소년들의 학교 보건교육 수혜 현황 및 건강위험행동과의 관련성 (The Relationship between School Health Education Experience and Health Risk Behaviors in Adolescents: Results of the 2013 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey)

  • Purpose: This research examined the trend of school health education, using online research data on health behaviors of adolescents. Then it compared the health perceptions, healthy life practice, and health risk behaviors between students who received health education and students who did not. In addition, it predicted the impact of health education on health risk behaviors of students. Methods: Data from 72,435 participants of this survey were analyzed. Statistical analyses were performed on weighted data using the complex sampling design. Results: In the results of the research, general high schools students had the lowest rate of receiving health education, while sex education was the most actively held throughout the all locations. Next, medium-small cities had the lowest rate of receiving health education. Regarding health risk behaviors, students receiving health education had significantly lower rates of smoking, drinking, and sexual intercourse. Conclusion: This study shows that healthy life practices by students improves with the inclusion of health education, thus indicating that schools should invest in health education. This research generated evidence for the first time in Korea that school health education has a positive impact on health risk behaviors and provides basic data for policy development of school health education.

실무형 공학교육에 대한 공학교육 당사자들의 인식 조사 결과 분석 - 홍익대학교 과학기술대학을 중심으로 - (Analysis on the Recognition of the Engineering Education Participators for Practical Engineering Education - College of Science and Technology, Hongik University -)

  • 본 논문은 지방에 소재하고 있는 공과대학에서 교수, 재학생 및 졸업생 등 공학교육 당사자들의 실무형 공학교육에 대한 인식을 조사한 결과를 분석한 것이다. 여러 대학들을 조사하여 실무형 공학교육을 각각 기업 맞춤형, 전공 강화형, 기본소양 강화형 및 기타 등 4가지 형태로 분류하였고 이들에 대한 공학 교육 당사자들의 인식도를 조사한 것이다. 그리고 취업을 위해 어떤 교육 내용이 필요한가에 대해서도 조사하였다. 조사 결과 응답자들은 실무형 공학교육을 기업 맞춤형 교육으로 가장 많이 이해하고 있었고 실무 적응을 위한 기본소양 강화 교육으로 인식하는 응답자도 상당수가 있었다. 신입사원 채용 시험에 교수와 졸업생은 인성, 품성 등이 가장 중요하다고 답한 반면 재학생은 전공 실력과 영어에 큰 비중을 두고 있었다. 이공계 학생으로 가장 부족하다고 느끼는 점은 졸업생과 재학생 모두 영어 능력을 들었으나 교수는 전공 실력 부족이라고 응답했다. 본 연구는 실무형 공학교육에 대한 인식과 이를 위한 공학교육의 발전 방향을 유추할 수 있는 기초 자료를 추출했다고 판단되나 실무형 공학교육에 대해 좀 더 세밀하고 광범위한 연구가 계속되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

국내외 환경교육 연구방법론의 동향과 과제 (Trends and Tasks of Methodology in Environmental Education Research of Korea and Other Countries)

  • The purpose of this stud)r was to critically review the trends of research methodologies of environmental education. We analyzed Journal of Korean Society for Environmental Education (vol. 1 ∼vol. 14(1)) and The Journal of Environmental Education(vol. 25∼vol. 31) to investigate the trends of methodology in EE research of Korean and other countries and to explore the tasks of it. The findings were as follows, 1) More than half of the character of the papers in Korea were actual condition (54.38%), substitute proposal (32.12%), and the papers in others countries were actual condition (39.35%), substitute proposal (33.55%). 2) The major parts of the method of the papers in Korea were literature review (26.05%), survey research (23.79%), on the other hand the papers in other counties were survey research (42.70%), literature review (25.84%). The results indicated that the research methodologies of environmental education in Korea were needed to be reinforced in the field of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

대안학교 교사의 생태중심주의 환경교육에 대한 인식 조사 (Survey on the Korean Alternative School Teachers' Perception of Ecocentric Environmental Education)

  • In this study, the Korean alternative school teachers' perceptions of ecocentric environmental education were surveyed. A total of 80 teachers from 42 alternative schools across the nation answered to the survey. The results were as follows. Teachers were found to have a lot of interest in environmental issues and to practice some environmental actions inside and outside school. Over sixty percent teachers agreed with the ecocentric philosophy of environmental education. The most two important issues among 11 environmental education contents for teachers were "natural environment" and "environmental ethics". Teachers used and preferred "field work" for teaching environmental issues, and got teaching materials mostly from the internet. However, many of them were not satisfied with environmental activity in their schools because of their lack of professionalism. They had not enough experience of professional development for environmental education, and strongly wanted to learn about field work.

유치원/초등생 로봇 교육에 대한 학부모의 인식 조사 (A Survey on Parents' Cognition in the Robotics Education for Kindergarten and Elementary Students)

  • Robots have been widely used for the education in kindergarten and elementary school. In this study, the cognition of parents on robots in education is investigated. The study is conducted by analyzing responses of 105 parents with kindergarten students and elementary schoolchildren. The survey results show that most students who have been taking the robotics education start it from five or seven years old. The students were mainly educated in the private institution. Therefore, the parents worry about the lack of professionalism about educational institute and teachers. In conclusion, the systematic curriculums and policy of robotic education are needed for kindergarten students and elementary students.

  • 현재 초 중등학교 현장에는 다양한 교육정보자원이 보급되어 있다. 이를 보다 내실화 있게 운영하기 위해서는 현행 교육정보자원에 대하여 운영 실태를 정확히 파악하고 이를 분석하여 국가 수준에서의 내실화 방안을 모색하여야 한다. 지금까지 기울여왔던 학교 교육정보자원들이 실제 현장에서는 어떻게 활용되고 있는지에 대한 정확한 실태를 분석하기 위해서 시간과 공간을 초월한 효율적인 설문분석 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 조사자로 하여금 설문 분석단계를 자동화하고 후속 설문을 쉽게 하도록 하여 연구의 효율성을 부여하도록 검색, 통계처리, 코드 생성, 설문관리 기능을 구현하였다.

대학 소비자교육 교양강좌의 실태조사와 요구도 조사를 통한 교과모형개발 (A Development of Consumer General Education Program for University Students through Assessment of Need and Actual Condition)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a meaningful thought to professionals and administrators of Korea working for Consumer General Education development at their Universities. Also, tips for organizing and meaning Consumer General Education Curriculum effectively are provided. Finally, the study suggests essential elements to improve qualities of Consumer General Education in Korea Universities. This study's method are content analysis through web site and survey. The subjects of this survey were 257 students. The data were collected by questionnaire developed by researcher and analyzed by frequencies, correlation Analysis, One Way Anova, Duncan Test, Factor Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings were as follows: University students's satisfaction level about General Education was low and the needs level about Consumer General Education was high. And the education service quality showed factors to be administrative service element, professor service element, classroom environment element, communication element. And Multiple Regression Analysis on each of the education service quality factors had been significant effects for find out the differences in the degree of satisfaction.

보건교육 수강여부에 따른 보건 인식.태도.지식의 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Difference of Students' Recognition, Attitude, and Knowledge Level of Health Activity by the Health Education)

  • This study investigated the difference of the university students' recognition, attitude, and knowledge level of health by the health education in Daejeon and Chungnam province. First, in the survey analysis result regarding the health related recognition, the students who had attended lectures of health education were surveyed not only to have higher health related recognition than the students who did not have attended the lecture of health education, but also to appear meaningful in statistics by showing significance level p<0.05 in total score. Second, in the research regarding the health related attitude, the attendance or nonattendance of health education lecture were surveyed not to have high effect on the attitude of daily lives of the university students. Third, in the analysis of health related knowledge, the knowledge level between the students who had attended lectures of health education and who did not have attended the lecture of health education showed that the students who had attended lectures of health education got more excellent correct answer rate. In this survey result, the students who had attended lectures of health education showed higher health related recognition and knowledge than the students who had not attended lectures of health education.

청소년건강행태온라인조사 자료에서 개인위생 교육 경험과 손씻기 실천의 연관성 (An Experience of Personal Hygiene Education and Hand-washing Practices among Adolescents in the Korean Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship of personal hygiene education and hand-washing practices among adolescents. Then the impact of such factors on the hand-washing practices was analyzed. Methods: The data of the 2012 Youth Health Risk Behavior web-based Survey collected by Korean Center for Disease Control was analyzed using SPSS. Total 74,186 of middle and hish school students were included. Uni-variate analysis was done by complex sample crosstabs and multi-variate analysis was done by complex sample logistic regression. Results: The 26.8% of students experienced personal hygiene education. The students of boys, low school grade, coeducation, metropolitan, high school record and high economic status experienced more hygiene education. The hand-washing practices were high in the students with the experience of personal hygiene education. In the factors affecting the hand-washing practice, the experience of personal hygiene education was consistently significant. If students experienced the personal hygiene education, they showed 20~30% more rates of hand-washing practices. Conclusions: Hand-washing practice was high when experiencing personal hygiene education. The personal hygiene education was necessary to improve the rate of hand-washing practices.
