The bobsleigh is a winter sport which use a sled to slide down an ice-covered course. There is a big expectation for having a training environment and being able to train year round. At present, training is very limited due to the season or course facilities. A variety of VR (Virtual Reality) equipment has been developed in recent years, and it is beginning to spread. We have also made our contribution in bobsleigh simulation. The reactive force applied in our bobsleigh simulation is much smaller than that of a real bobsleigh. This paper proposes a method to enhance reactive force of bobsleigh simulation in real time. The reactive force is magnified instantly in the physically-based simulation. The Laplacian filter is applied to the sequence of reactive force, this technique is often used in the field of image processing. The simulation is comprised of four large scale surround screens and a 6-D.O.F. (Degree Of Freedom) motion system. We also conducted an experiment with several motion patterns to evaluate the effectiveness of enhancement. The experimental results proved useful in some cases.

최근 스마트폰이 급격하게 보급되면서 1인 1스마트폰 시대가 열렸다. 이에 스마트 TV를 이용할 때 스마트폰을 활용하여 기능을 더욱 향상시키는 기술이 주목받고 있다. 해당 프로젝트에서는 스마트 TV의 영상을 시청하고자 할 때 홈시어터 등의 장비 대신 스마트폰을 활용하고자한다. TV의 기본 2채널 스피커가 아닌 5.1 채널을 구축하고 다채널 서라운드를 지원하여 더욱 풍부한 음향이 제공되는 환경에서 스마트 TV의 영상을 관람 가능한 시스템을 구현하였다. 스마트 TV 1대와 스마트폰 3대를 이용하여 구축하였고, AllShare Framework를 통하여 디바이스 간 연결을 하고, FFmpeg과 Chord SDK로 사운드 채널 분리 및 디바이스 사운드 동기화 처리를 통하여 출력 딜레이를 최소화한다.

The viewers primarily watch a television under the surround light source of an incandescent or a fluorescent light. When human visual system has been adapted chromtically under the different surround light, the same chromaticities elicit quite different color appearnaces. Therefore, the corresponding color reproduction is the most suitable objective of a color television system. In this paper, an efficient corresponding color reproduction method based on the chromatic adaptation of human visual system is proposed in which colors in the display have the same appearance as the colors in the original would have had if they had been illuminated by standard illuminant ($D_{65}$). The chromaticities that appeared neutral in human visual system were determined by the Hunt's experimental results of the color adaptation in picture viewing situations and the corresponding chromaticity coordinates of stimuli in chromatic adaptation were obtained by the Bartleson's theory. Also, the corresponding color reproduction is realized by changing the phase and the gain of the demodulation axes in television receiver. Experimental results show that the proposed corresponding color displayed on the television is better than that of the conventional colorimetric color reproduction under the surround light sources.

This paper presents a novel contrast enhance algorithm for images displayed with bright environment light. This algorithm is designed to preserve local contrast based on the luminance ratio of the pixel to its local surround in attention. This algorithm improves image quality of projectors in a bright room.

In this paper, we measured inter-floor loss in multifloored building to surround buildings at 910MHz. Effect of interfloor diffraction to propagate through out-surface were smaller than effect of reflection of surrounding buildings. If multifloored building were offered W-PBX service, we will have to design optimization of indoor cell to overcome time delay difference.

음악 레코딩 산업에서 5.1 서라운드 사운드 프로덕션은 이미 전 세계적으로 우리 실생활에 널리 사용 되어 왔다. 많은 음악 엔지니어들은 과거보다 더욱 진보된 사운드를 위해 다양한 기술적 시도를 하고있다. 본 논문은 현재 사용되고 있거나 개발 중에 있는 Sony/Philips, Fukada Tree, 그리고 Hamasaki Square 등 여러 종류의 서라운드 마이크로폰 테크닉을 분석하고, 다양한 악기 사용에 따라 달라지는 결과를 분석하여 서라운드 사운드 프러덕션에서 보다 효율적인 접근법을 모색하기 위한 연구이다.

LUTCHI와 새로이 수집된 CII-Kwak 데이터를 이용하여 테스트한 결과 CIECAM02를 비롯해 현재까지 개발된 주된 color appearance model들이 몇 가지 중요한 color appearance 현상들을 설명하지 못한다는 것이 발견되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 극복하기위해 새로이 개발된 Kwak03 모델이 소개되었다. Kwak03 모델은 CIECAM02에 기초하고 있으나 achromatic signal에서 cone 신호들의 비율, dynamic response 함수 등 많은 면에서 큰 차이를 보인다. LUTCHI 및 CII-Kwak 데이터를 사용한 테스트 결과 Kwak03가 테스트된 모델들 중 특히 dark surround 하에서 휘도 및 배경색의 변화에 따른 색변화 예측에서 가장 우수한 결과를 보였다.

본고에서는 동일 주파수 대역폭에서 T-DMB(Terrestrial-Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)의 가용 채널용량을 확장하기 위해 개발중인 Advanced T-DMB(AT-DMB)의 기술에 대해 소개한다. AT-DMB는 계층변조, MPEG-4 SVD(scalable video coding) 및 MPEG surround 오디오 기술을 이용하여, 기존 T-DMB와의 역호환성을 보장하면서 다채널 혹은 고품질의 서비스를 제공하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 향후 AT-DMB 기술 개발이 완료되어 상용서비스가 실시될 경우, 증대된 서비스 채널을 통해 다양한 비즈니스 모델의 모바일(mobile) 방송 서비스 제공이 가능할 것이며, 나아가 T-DMB 해외 시장 확산에도 기여할 것이다.

The Andong batholith is a Jurassic plutonic complex intruding metamorphic rocks of the RRyeongnam massif that extends from NE to SW in the southern Korean Peninsula. Detailed mapping and petrographic studies show that the batholith exhibits five sparate plutons: Andong, Dosan, Pungsan, Imha, and Nokjeon. The oldest Andong pluton among them exhibits reverse zoning. This feature contrasts with typical modal and chemical zoning trends in calc-alkaline plutons in which higher color index and more mafic rocks in the outer rim surround lower color index felsic rocks in the interior. 본 연구는 폐열을 이용할 수 있는 배후지역 선정을 위해 필요한 제반 여건 및 국내 주요 공업단지를 대상으로 폐열발생 평가, 타당성 분석 등을 실시하였으며 이의 결과를 토대로 최적의 예비 배후도시를 선정, 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 최적 배후도시를 선정하기 위해 에너지 흐름, 폐열발생 자원량 평가, 배후도시 선정절차 및 단계 등을 실증적으로 분석하여 제시하였다.
