궤도 유지관리 의사결정 지원 시스템 개발 (Decision-making support system for track maintenance)

  • The process of determining whether, when, where and how to intervene, of deciding on optimum allocation of resources and minimizing the cost is a very complex problem: different track sections tend to behave differently under the effects of loading; decision-making processes for maintenance work are closely interrelated technically and economically; decision-making for maintenance plans is based on a large quantity of technical and economic information, extensive knowledge and above all experience. For that reason, It is considered very important to develope objective and computer-aided decision-making support system for track maintenance plan. On this paper, we reviewed ECOTRACK system and present the plan of develope decision-making support system for track maintenance appropriate to local condition.

교육대학생의 진로준비행동과 부모의 사회적 지지, 진로결정자기효능감 및 진로성숙의 관계 (The Relationship between the Career Preparation Behavior, Parental Social Support, Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy, and the Career Maturity of the Pre-Service Elementary School Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify a causal relationship in the career preparation behavior, parental social support, career decision making self-efficacy and the career maturity of the pre-service elementary school teachers. A total of 374 questionnaires were used for data analysis, excluding the 23 copies deemed insincere in response. To ensure the reliability and validity of the questions, technical statistics of the frequency, ratio, average, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis via PASW 18.0, item-total correlation, the totality, and the reliability analysis. The structural analysis via AMOS 7.0 in the bootstrapping method was undertaken to perform the path analysis among the variables and to assess the suitability of the model. The findings of the study led to the following conclusions: First, the causal model for the career preparation behavior, parental social support, career decision making self-efficacy, and the career maturity of the pre-service elementary school teachers is suitable to empirical analysis on research variables. Second, the career decision making self-efficacy of pre-service elementary teachers has direct effect on career preparation behavior positively. Third, parental social support of the pre-service elementary teachers has indirect effects on the career preparation behavior positively.

공공부문 IT 아웃소싱 의사경정 요인 도출 : 델파이 방법 (Decision Making Factors of IT Outsourcing in Public Sector : A Delphi Method)

  • To improve the quality of the services and to concentrate on the core capability, in public sector the IT outsourcing is recently being vitalized by the institutional support of the government for the entrusting non-government. Because the lots of general studies so far have simply focused on indicating fragmentary factors i.e. economical factors, risk factors, system factors, or induction objects, etc., they are insufficient in making the practical decisions, therefore we indicated systemized model extending over the whole range of the IT outsourcing to support substantial decision makings, and assorted 4 categories and drew considerable 55 factors from the literature study to materialize the previously considerable factors at each decision making stage. And the principal factors were drawn from each decision making category by a group of 11 experts. Besides, a henceforth plan for the application was also presented through an actual example of the IT outsourcing decision making process of 'M', a public enterprise.

  • This study is aimed at proposing a new approach to designing UDSS (Ubiquitous Decision Support System) which allows context-awareness and connectivity. In the previous studies, the need to design UDSS and analyze its performance empirically was raised. However, due to the complexity of empirical approaches, there is no study attempting to tackle this research issue so far. To fill this research void, this study proposes a Mobile Delivery System (MDS) as a form of UDSS, empirically analyzing how users perceive its context-awareness and connectivity functions. Especially, to add more rigor to the proposed approach to know how much it works well in the decision-making contexts, we considered three decision making phases (intelligence, design, choice) in the research model. With the valid questionnaires collected from 340 users of the MDS, we induced statistically proven results showing that both context-awareness and connectivity of the proposed UDSS (or MDS) influence the decision making steps positively and then contribute to improving the decision making quality.

유비쿼터스 의사결정지원시스템의 접속성과 상황인식기능이 사용자 의사결정과정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Analysis of the Influence of Connectivity and Context-Awareness Functions of Ubiquitous Decision Support System (UDSS) on User's Decision Making Process)

  • 정보기술의 급격한 발전은 경영환경에서 다양한 정보를 산출하여 의사결정자들이 의사결정을 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 수단을 요구하고 있다. 특히 유비쿼터스 환경의 등장으로 이러한 의사결정형태는 더욱 복잡해지고 다양해 질것으로 기대된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 의사결정지원시스템(UDSS:Ubiquitous Decision Support Systems)이 실제 업무에서 의사결정과정과 의사결정의 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 모바일 택배 시스템(MDS:Mobile Delivery System)을 UDSS로 간주하고 유비쿼터스 환경의 주요한 두 속성인 유비쿼터스 접속성과 상황인식기능이 의사결정자의 의사결정과정과 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 유비쿼터스 접속성은 의사결정과정에서 대안설계에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였으나, 상황인식기능은 의사결정의 모든 과정에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 의사결정과정 간의 각 단계들은 상호 유의한 인과관계를 나타냈으며, 의사결정과정과 의사결정의 성과는 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 UDSS의 설계 및 구현에 필요한 시사점 및 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

  • Recently a multi-attribute structure analysis method is one of the evident areas of important points in the decision support system analysis. This research developed an internet/intranet-based solution builder for a three-step decision support system using fuzzy-AHP in the view of 1) brainstorming far the idea generation, 2) fuzzy-AHP (fuzzy analytic hierarchy process) as a multi-attribute structured analysis method and 3) aggregation logic model to integrate the results of individual analysis. We applied this decision support system to the make-or-buy decision problem for school foodservice system considering the multi-attributes in the decision making. A computer program is developed and demonstrated it internet/intranet-based decision problem. It was known that this solution builder provides decision makers a good tool for mate-of-buy group decision making.

Emerging Data Management Tools and Their Implications for Decision Support

  • Recently, we have witnessed a host of emerging tools in the management support systems (MSS) area including the data warehouse/multidimensinal databases (MDDB), data mining, on-line analytical processing (OLAP), intelligent agents, World Wide Web(WWW) technologies, the Internet, and corporate intranets. These tools are reshaping MSS developments in organizations. This article reviews a set of emerging data management technologies in the knowledge discovery in databases(KDD) process and analyzes their implications for decision support. Furthermore, today's MSS are equipped with a plethora of AI techniques (artifical neural networks, and genetic algorithms, etc) fuzzy sets, modeling by example , geographical information system(GIS), logic modeling, and visual interactive modeling (VIM) , All these developments suggest that we are shifting the corporate decision making paradigm form information-driven decision making in the1980s to knowledge-driven decision making in the 1990s.

  • The main objective of this research is to identify the evaluation criteria of the local governments' projects for the fisheries industry development (LGPFID) and to develop the evaluation software prototype applicable to LGPFID. This research does not try to develop the whole evaluation processes and programs for LGPFID, but just to outline the approach to managing LGPFID. The evaluation processes and programs developed in this study is based on the group decision support systems(GDSS), which is a collaborative, system-oriented, and objective system useful in evaluating LGPFID. Specifically the goals of the programs are to : (1) enhance the quality of evaluation process for LGPFID; (2) provide the local government decision makers' and interest groups' access to comprehensive evaluation information; (3) support private-public collaboration in government's decision making. We used analytic hierarchy process model as a group decision making model and programmed the application software prototype with Visual Basic language.

How to develop corporate real estate? A decision support tool for CREM

  • Various forms of procurement are open to companies when constructing new owner-occupied properties. The selection of a form of procurement is an important decision-making problem for companies and their Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) departments. With this in mind, a decision support tool has been developed to optimise the outcome and success of company's proposed real estate development projects and is presented in this paper. This model can also be used for current real estate portfolios to optimise returns in the long term. In pursuit of this objective and in order to provide an academic basis for this study, decision-relevant goals and parameters were initially identified from the referenced literature used in our research. These were subsequently evaluated in a case study of a corporate development project and identified as specific decision criteria from the perspective of the CREM. The investigation identified 15 criteria that are relevant to the corporate decision-making process in procuring and/or developing property. A model for supporting and resolving decision-making problems of this type was derived from decision theory. In this paper, a decision-making tool is presented that takes into account all the decision criteria from the CREM point of view for the first time. This model should therefore serve as an aid in implementing the decision-making process for the development of real estate projects in a more structured and transparent manner.

GIS의 패션 산업에의 전략적 전개에 대한 고찰 (Strategic deployment of GIS for fashion Industries)

  • 최근 GIS는 국내에서 뿐 아니라 외국에서도 마케팅의 의사결정문제와 그에 따른 의사결정지원시스템에 적용이 시도되고 있다. GIS는 강력한 공간분석 기능과 함께 자료의 통합과 그래픽 기능 등을 갖추고 있으며 이와 같은 기능으로 인해 많은 소매 운영자와 생산자들로 구성되는 패션 산업에 있어서 의사결정을 지원하는 하나의 좋은 수단으로서 점차 인식이 확산되고 있다. 이러한 시점에 본 논문에서는 GIS를 패션마케팅에 적용함에 있어서 몇가지 주요한 요소들을 고찰하여 보았다. 이를 위해 현재의 패션마케팅 의사결정문제에 있어서의 주요 이슈에 대한 문제제기에서 출발하여 다속성 의사결정과 다목적 의사결정의 프레임이 어떻게 패션마케팅 의사결정지원에 이용될 수 있는가를 알아보고 이를 실제로 구현하는데 있어서의 한계점 역시 아울러 고찰하여 보았다. 논의의 주안점은 주로 현재의 패션마케팅 의사결정시스템과 GIS 기능의 통합에 두었다.
