Alkaline fuel cells using polymer electrolyte membranes are expected to replace proton exchange membrane fuel cells, which have similar system configurations. In particular, in alkaline fuel cells, a low-cost non-platinium catalyst can be used. In this study, to fabricate high performance and high durability anion exchange membranes for alkaline fuel cell systems, two kinds of supports, polybenzoxazole and polyethylene supports, were impregnated with Fumion FAA ionomer, by which we tried to fabricate the support-impregnated membrane which has higher mechanical strength and higher ion conductivity than the Fumion series. Finally, the Pore-filling membranes were successfully fabricated and ionic conductivity and mechanical properties were different depending on the properties of the supports. In the pore-filling membranes with Fumion ionomer on the PE support, excellent mechanical properties were obtained, but ionic conductivity decreased. On the other hand, when the PBO support was impregnated with Fumion ionomer, high ionic conductivity was shown after impregnation due to high basicity of PBO, but the mechanical strength was relatively low as compared with Fumion-PE membrane. As a result, it was concluded that it is necessary to consider the characteristics of the support according to the operating conditions of the alkaline fuel cell during the preparation of the pore-filling membranes.

Recently, housing market & circumstances considering society change have changed dramatically. Such changes have affected system exchange of apartment housing greatly and promoted new housing system breaking with bearing wall structure. From this point of view, this study examined ultimate systematic items for promoting better housing system after extracting existing building regulation and housing regulation. This study only analyzed system change considering skeleton(support) with housing regulation, building regulation and fire service law. Consequently, apartment housing will intend residential open building breaking with existing bearing wall structure by promoting change of skeleton & infill system afterward.

The aim of this research is to study and develop enabling technologies for home healthcare device with ubiquitous network. The motivation of this paper is to enable healthcare in home, to development the device for smart home health care. To achieve the aim, we must develop the prototype platform based on home gateways, distributed context user interface based on UPnP and support for information sharing with high speed power line communication and mobile infra-structures. And IPv6 is the base technology of this platform. In this paper, we concern that physical health, mental health and medical emergencies is all of home healthcare. With the smart device, we evaluate the connectivity, automatic information extraction and private data exchange and event driven message. The result of this paper is demonstration of smart device for ubiquitous communication in a healthcare application such as patient monitoring device and several information services. In conclusion, home healthcare will support more healthy and easy living for a human.

This paper is to analyze business activities of approval/permission (A/P) and to describe its problems. To conduct the A/P business activities currently, there are many problems such as complex business process and different business policies among the each organization. In order to solve the problems, this paper suggests the A/P system of highway construction CALS (Commerce at Light Speed). CALS, a top down vision of complete computing integration, promises to support electronic data exchange. The A/P system is designed to classified documents based on CALS standard and store them to database. The data register to the A/P system by the Internet, and each construction company can use the A/P system by Internet also. Benefits of the A/P system is reduction in junk documents for approval/permission actives, improvement in conduct and services life cycle support.

The current manufacturers have generated tremendous amount of digitized product data to efficiently share and exchange it with other stakeholders or various software systems for product development. The digitized product data is a valuable asset for manufacturers, and has a potential to support high level strategic decision makings needed at many stages in product development. However, the lack of studies on extraction of key performance indicators(KPIs) from product data management(PDM) databases has prohibited manufacturers to use the product data to support the decision makings. Therefore this paper examines a possibility of an architecture that supports KPIs for evaluation of product development performances, by applying multidimensional product data model and on-line analytic processing(OLAP) to operational databases of product data management. To validate the architecture, the paper provides a prototype product data management system and OLAP applications that implement the multidimensional product data model and analytic processing.

The purpose of this study was to compare the job loss and job seeking experiences between middle-aged men and their younger cohort. Participants included 11 middle-aged unemployed men and nine younger unemployed men. The study adopted a phenomenological approach. In-depth individual interviews were carried out and the theme analysis was used to analyze the interview data. The results showed that the two cohorts experienced the macroeconomic crises, the foreign exchange crisis in 1997 and the global financial crisis in 2008, differently. Their experiences affected their attribution of the unemployment and job seeking process. They expressed ambivalence toward their family while dealing with social isolation from extrafamilial support. Most of the participants criticized government employment support policies and services.

I have already reported about the necessity of international cooperation, our role and measures under the present conditions of private technological exchange in the Japanese and Korean Consulting Engineers Meeting at Taejeon, Korea. Continuously I have been discussing whether we, Japanese ＆ Korean consulting engineers can give technological cooperation and support with the regard to industrial technological development, enhancement of industrial infrastructure, social and economic development. I am focusing on Vietnam which has been in the course of economic development to excess in a sense and this country attracts the world's attention. I probe the possibility of technological cooperation under the cooperation of Japanese & Korean consulting engineers while I introduce the present conditions of Vietnam. In addition Vietnam has become a member of ASEAN officially, and the foreign investment in Vietnam has gotten on the right track. Moreover, the regularization of lawsystem in Vietnam is well under way and they aim at joining advanced nations in the 21st century.

According as Internet based EC(Electronic Commerce) has been activated, More requirements for exchanging digital documents are being proposed in B2B(Business to Business) and B2G(Business to Government) environments. However, the documents can not be processed automatically, because the structures of documents in each site(companies, central/local governments) do not match. Therefore, W3C(World Wide Web Consortium) has proposed XML(eXtensible Markup Language) DTD(Document Type Declaration) technology to support structuring documents. The XML DTD technology can support interoperability between EC sites. And, XML DTD based documents can be processed automatically in every sites. They will improve efficiency of services in B2B and B2G environments. In this paper, we propose interoperable DTD architecture and IDEP(Interoperable DTD Exchange Protocol) protocol which supports searching DTDs and exchanging DTDs. This technology can popularize DTDs and digital documents.

In this paper, we present three kinds of development support systems (test and evaluation systems), which are developed to fulfill the specific needs in accordance with the CDMA Mobile System (CMS) developmental phases. The support systems consist of the mobile switch traffic simulator (MSTS), the mobile call simulator (MCS), and the CDMA mobile system analysis tools (CSAT). The MSTS is used for the simulation of the base station in the stage of development of the mobile exchange, and the MCS is used for the overall performance test of the CMS. The CSAT is used for the CMS performance evaluation. These systems have been used for the CMS development successfully.

Due to the needs of design optimization and productivity for modernized Korean traditional house, standardization of Korean traditional building components is proceeding by BIM (Building Information Modeling). Currently, most of BIM software support object-based parametric modeling. By means of parameterized Korean traditional building components, the shape and assembly relation can be controlled. Although IFC(ISO/PAS 16739), which is an international standard in the AEC field, has been developed for information exchange among BIM software, IFC and other existing common data formats cannot be exchangeable parametric information. For the exchangeable parametric information within IFC, the authors defined meta-data by using Pset(Property-Set). The authors analyzed results about interoperability test in Revit $Architecture^{TM}$, $ArchiCAD^{TM}$ and Digital $Project^{TM}$. In order to solve found problems, the authors developed a translator to improve interoperability among BIM software.
