Mathematics textbook plays a significant role in shaping students' learning of mathematics. Logic, rigor and abstraction as typical features of the formalization of mathematics, dominate mathematics textbooks around the world, which is regarded as one of the important origins of students' learning difficulties in mathematics. An innovative series of Chinese mathematic textbooks is presented in this paper. Supported by the supplementary materials excerpts from the textbooks, it gives a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the principles of design and implementation of this series of mathematics textbooks. The effectiveness of this series of textbooks is demonstrated by student achievement and secondary research data. It shows that series of Chinese mathematic textbooks has largely decreased students' learning difficulties in mathematics and enhance classroom teaching efficiency. It suggests that prioritizing the essence of mathematics and reducing abstraction is an important notion for mathematics textbook design and implementation.

This paper describes Web based education technique. We implemented a remote compile system with 8051 micro controller. It implemented the system in this paper so that a learner compiled 8051 control programs to the remote. Most big restriction subject is the control of the hardware in an engineering field even though it implements a remote education system. We download the Java Application to Java Web Start and execute in this system. In this paper the learner controls 8051 executions in Web to the remote and implemented so that we confirmed the action. The supplementary problem will be the construction of a remote education system which offeres existing text and sound information, flash animation.

This study used Hierarchical Linear Modeling analysis to investigate the effects of individual self-regulated cognitive strategies and public education on middle school students' academic achievement. Participants were 6389 (boys 3287, girls 3102) middle school students from the 2005 data of the Korea Education Longitudinal Study. Results were as follows : (1) there were significant differences among different schools in middle school students' academic achievement, i.e. 20% of variance in English achievement and 15% of variance in mathematics achievement were explained by school differences. (2) Students' elaboration and meta-cognitive strategy influenced academic achievement positively. (3) Predictor variables by ability grouping, supplementary class, and/or self-learning class had no significant effects on students' academic achievement.

There have been great advances in communication and networking in recent times. It is necessary to take advantage of this information infrastructure for the purpose of developing an engineering education system, but the networking system was expensive or hard to develop. The current international networking is converging to the use of the World Wide Web system. It has become a new standard for global network communication. But there are not a great number of applications which take full advantage of this environment. In this paper, an interactive education system for engineering education using the World Wide Web will be presented. This can be used as a supplementary kit for engineering education of DC machine design. The system is developed using JAVA and can be accessed using Web browsers.

To achieve the aim of science education, it is known that warious teaching, and learning materials should have to be used. As a sub-textbook for primary science education, 'Sil Hum-Kwan Chal (Experiment and Observation), teaching and learing material are developed and using now in science. This material have following characteristics; (a) Soruce-book contains reading materials for additional information, various pictures to enririch the science concepts, and supplementary and enrichment activities. (b) Work-book consists of the detailed procedures of activities of experiments presented in the textbook, student can record the experimental procedures and results. (c) Operational manuals provide operation techniques for experimental equipments which are used in science class. In this study the using status are surveyed for the 3rd grade of primary school, and based on this survey the improvement plan are discussed in view of design, quantity and utility, of sub-textbook.

For the purpose of increasing the efficiency of practices on board in the education of oceanography by the oceanographic research vessel "Tamyang", the problems which were generated while maneuvering the vessel for the practices were examined thoroughly, the proposals for the improvement of the above problems were summarized as follows : 1. The career of cruise for research should be recognized as the credit of practice on board by the training ship, the chances for credits of practice on board should be provided more and the demand of research assistant should be satisfied. 2. The special programs for the practice on board in the education of oceanography should be developed for increasing the educational and economical efficiency during the practice. 3. The research cruise should be enlarged fir providing the more chance of study to the professor. 4. The supplementary practice on board should be carried out in the vacation. 5. The budget for purchasing the spares of research equipment should be allotted and the expert technician should be supplemented for the maintenance and instruction.

지리교과서는 부도(atlas)와 함께 공인된 지리 교육 교재로서 교육현장에서 널리 사용되는 책자 형태의 인쇄자료이다. 특히 부도는 지리교과서의 내용을 이해하고 학습하는데 보조적인 역할을 하는 교재로 이해할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 현행 교과서 검정체제하에서 발행되어 교육현장에서 사용하는 교과서와 부도의 상호보완성이 어떻게 구현되며 이와 관련된 문제점은 무엇인지 검토하였다. 지리 교과서와 사회과 부도는 교육과정에 근거하여 편찬되는데 저자들과 제작자들의 교육과정 해석, 교육적 신념과 관심 등에 따라 검정본을 완성하여 제출한다. 검정과정을 통과한 교재는 비로소 교육현장에 배포되어 지리 학습에 활용된다. 교과서와 부도 두 교재의 내용구성은 하나의 교육과정 진술에 대해 다양한 자료가 제시되고 두 교재에 제시된 자료는 상호보완적으로 구성되어 있지만, 때로는 각각의 교과서에 유사한 자료가 제시되거나 교과서에 제시된 자료와 사회과 부도 내용상 구성이 중복되거나 독립적일 수 있다. 현재와 같은 교과서 검정 제도하에서 두 교재가 효율적으로 지리 학습에 활용될 수 있는 방안이 모색되어야 할 것이다.

본 연구는 종합병원 의료인의 교육훈련 인식이 의료인 상호간 커뮤니케이션에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 수행된 연구이다. 자료조사는 광주광역시, 전라남도 소재 29개 종합병원에서 근무하는 의료인 433명을 대상으로 2018년 6월 8일부터 2018년 6월 25일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 t-검정과 분산분석, 사후검정, 상관관계 및 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 인구사회학적 특성 및 건강관련 특성과 의료인 상호간 커뮤니케이션 차이를 검정한 결과 연령, 학력, 병상규모, 직업만족도, 소재지, 건강상태, 건강관리 교육경험, 우울경험에서, 교육훈련 인식은 연령, 병상규모, 직종, 급여수준, 의료기관 종류, 직업만족도, 소재지, 건강상태, 건강관리 교육경험, 만성질환 여부에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 의료인 상호간의 커뮤니케이션에 미치는 영향 요인으로 학력, 건강관련 교육경험에서 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 연령과 병상규모(801병상 이상), 직업만족도에서는 연령이 높을수록, 병상규모가 801병상 이상인 경우, 직업에 만족하지 못할수록 부정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 교육훈련 하부요인인 지원환경, 학습전이, 성과에서 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구를 바탕으로 교육훈련 계획수립 시 성과와 지원환경, 학습전이를 높일 수 있는 교육훈련 프로그램 구축이 필요하며, 의학 및 간호학생들의 교육 과정에 커뮤니케이션의 정규 교육과정을 도입. 의료인 상호간 커뮤니케이션을 높여 환자에게 안전한 의료서비스를 제공해야 할 것이다.

This study finds methods to activate culinary education by surveying the level of recognition for culinary practice from the culinary teachers of vocational high schools. The number of individuals surveyed is 103. Data is verified by using SPSS 14.0 (SPSS Inc, Chicago, USA). The results of the survey on recognition for culinary education showed that learning requirements are very high as well as that theoretical education and trial demonstrations are necessary to enhance the effects of culinary practice education. Desired teaching learning materials were cooking materials by a certified technician. Their desired supplementary data for enhancing practical techniques were practical demonstrations, various materials and language instruction to learn other culinary practices. It is reported that there was increasing work other than learning time and complication for preparing practice. In addition, they desire more websites for cooking need to be built. Plans for activating culinary education are as follow: First, how to enhance the professional abilities of culinary teachers. Second, to show the necessity of theoretical education, video-based education, and culinary practice demonstrations. Third, to show the necessity to increase the ratio for culinary practice classes. Fourth, to display various teaching and learning materials. Fifth, to enhance websites for culinary data. Sixth, to provide opportunities to augment a sense of achievement.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the value perception changes of early adolescents, who are from 5th grades to 7th grades regarding to agriculture and rural communities through debate education. Since current education policy to educate agricultural value is limited in solving stereotypes and acquiring abundant relevant knowledge about agricultural values, this study tried to test the effect of debate education for the change of value perception of early adolescents about agriculture and rural communities. Through the two weeks of a debate education course, the differences of perception changes between the experimental group and control group were analyzed. As a result, education on agriculture and rural communities through debate has a great influence on the change of value perception and thus, it could be used as a supplementary educational method for literacy education and field trip learning. Lastly, limitations and implications for the study is discussed.
