  • The continuous chip in turning operation deteriorates the precision of workpiece and can cause a hazardous condition to operator. Thus the chip form becomes a very important task for reliable turning process. The chip form is identified using the neural network of supervise data Through the measurement of energy radiated from the chip. The feed mechanism os adjusted in order to break continuous chip according to the result of the chip form recognition and it shows a good approach for precision turning operation.

  • 본 연구에서는 oneM2M 표준 플랫폼인 Mobius를 이용하여 Device와 Server간 데이터를 전송하고 관리 감독이 가능한 장치를 RaspBerry PI로 구현하는 것을 목적으로 한다. Gateway 또는 Router와 동일한 개념으로 운영되고, End node에서 전송되는 packet을 다른 네트웍으로 forwarding하는 역할을 수행하고, 이론적으로 동시에 65536개의 device를 연결하여 관리 감독할 수 있는 기능을 구현하였다. Gateway에 연결되는 End node의 통신방식은 zigBee, wifi등을 사용하였고, 초 장거리 통신을 위해 LoRa 모듈을 활용하여 테스트 하였다.

  • The main purpose of this study is to develope a Simulator for Central Traffic Controller(CTC) which can check the operating status of CTC and support tile maintenance procedure. The simulator supervise the CTC processor units and the data transmission between the CTC modules and the railway station equipments to define the validity of system functions and notify whether the eqipments are good or not. With the help of the simulator we could detect the error of CTC equipments easily. repair the faults efficiently. and improve tile reliability of CTC system.

  • The Myanmar rice cycle's existing system is still relying on a third party to manage every rice data information from several organizations. It is inconvenient to supervise simultaneously due to the unreliability of information provided by organizations. Thus, the rice cycle's original data is challenging to be utterly trusted since irresponsible parties can manipulate the current state of information. Moreover, the applied system does not preserve a proper incentive for the involved parties. In this paper, we leverage the Ethereum blockchain to be adopted to tackle the aforementioned issues. The main objective is to build trust between parties in the Myanmar rice cycle system. Our proposed scheme allows customers to check and trace information about the rice cycle information without worrying about the integrity of the data. Furthermore, the authorized parties are also rewarded by the government through Ethereum smart contract features. Eventually, our scheme achieves traceability in the rice chain system and leads to the complete digitization and automation of the rice cycle information.

Examination of Required Functions in the PBNM Scheme for Multiple Domains as Cyber Physical System that Utilizes Data Science and AI

  • In the current Internet system, there are many problems using anonymity of the network communication such as personal information leaks and crimes using the Internet system. This is why TCP/IP protocol used in Internet system does not have the user identification information on the communication data, and it is difficult to supervise the user performing the above acts immediately. As a study for solving the above problem, there is the study of Policy Based Network Management (PBNM). This is the scheme for managing a whole Local Area Network (LAN) through communication control for every user. In this PBNM, two types of schemes exist. As one scheme, we have studied theoretically about the Destination Addressing Control System (DACS) Scheme with affinity with existing internet. By applying this DACS Scheme to Internet system management, we will realize the policy-based Internet system management. In this paper, required functions in the PBNM Scheme for multiple domains as cyber physical system that utilizes data science and AI is examined.

  • These fields are integrated to visualize and finalize the proposed development, in simulation environment. SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems and distributed control systems (DCSs) are widely deployed in all over the world, which are designed to control the industrial infrastructures, in real ways. To supervise and control the various parts of designed systems; trends to require a deep knowledge to understand the overall functional needs of industries, which could be a big challenge. Industrial field devices (or network sensors) are usually distributed in many locations and are controlled from centralized site (or main control center); the communication provides various signs of security issues. To handle these issues, the research contribution will twofold: a method using cryptography is deployed in critical systems for security purposes and overall transmission is controlled from main controller site. At controller site, multimedia components are employed to control the overall transmission graphically, such as system communication, bytes flows, security embedded parameters and others, by the means of multimedia technology.

선박의 QWL(근염생활의 질)에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Quality of Working Life in Merchant Ships)

  • A major change occuring in the workplace is the willingness of union leaders, managers, and workers to experiment with various work schedules and to work toward the improvement in the QWL(quality of work life). In this study, the writer measures the level of QWL, embodies components of QWL, testifies the difference of QWL according to the demographical traits, and develops some scales to measure QWL in merchant ships. To achieve objectives of the paper, 11 hypotheses were established and a questionnaire was used, 894 proper data was obtained from 2, 910 Korean seamen working in merchant ships. Results of analyses are as follows : 1) The components of QWL in merchant ships are job, employee satisfaction, wage, welfare, working condition, supervise, colleague relations, initiative, and organization management. 2) Seamen of merchant ships are satisfied with job, supervise, colleague relations, and organization management. They are dissatisfied employee satisfaction, wage, welfare, and working condition. 3) According to demographical traits, the number of the factors significant difference(P<0.05) among components of QWL are 9 for type of ships, 8 ages of seamen, 7 for married or single, nationality of ships, and education level respectively, 5 for seamen career, for 4 rank on board and trading route of ships respectively, 2 for whether union or not and whether union involvement or not respectively, and 1 for department on board. 4) Results which tested hypotheses are as follows : For the components of QWL, married men are more satisfactory than an unmarried men, officers are more dissatisfactory than ratings, old men are more satisfactory than young men, men in high education level are more dissatisfactory than men in low education level, those who are much careers as a seaman are more satisfactory than those who are little careers as a seaman. There are significant differences in the components of QWL according to nationality and type of ships. There are insignificant differences in the components of QWL according to the shipboard department, whether union is or not, whether union involvement is or not, and trading route of ships.
