Approaching the Negative Super-SBM Model to Partner Selection of Vietnamese Securities Companies

  • The purpose of the study is to determine the efficiency, position, and partner selection of securities companies via the negative super-SBM model used in data envelopment analysis (DEA). This model utilizes a variety of inputs, including current assets, non-current assets, fixed assets, liabilities, owner's equity and charter capital, and outputs including net revenue, gross profit, operating profit, and net profit after tax collected from the financial reports (Vietstock, 2020) of 32 securities companies, operating during the period from 2016 to 2019, negative data are collected as well. Empirical results determined both efficient and inefficient terms, and then further determined the position of each securities firm under consideration of every term. The overall score arrived at discovered a large performance change realizing a maximum score able to reach 20.791. In the next stage, alliancing inefficient companies was carried out based on the 2019 scores to seek out optimal partners for the inefficient companies. The tested result indicated that AAS was the best partner selection when its partners received a good result after alliancing, as with FTS (11.04469). The partner selection is deemed as a solution helpful to inefficient securities companies in order to improve their future efficiency scores.

Highly Efficient AC-DC Converter for Small Wind Power Generators

  • A highly efficient AC-DC converter for small wind power generation systems using a brushless DC generator (BLDCG) is presented in this paper. The market standard AC-DC converter for a BLDCG consists of a three-phase diode rectifier and a boost DC-DC converter, which has an IGBT and a fast recovery diode (FRD). This kind of two-stage solution basically suffers from a large amount of conduction loss and the efficiency greatly decreases under a light load, or at a low current, because of the switching devices with a P-N junction. In order to overcome this low efficiency, especially at a low current, a three-phase bridgcless converter consisting of three upper side FRDs and three lower side Super Junction FETs is presented. In the overall operating speed region, including the cut-in speed, the efficiency of the proposed converter is improved by up to 99%. Such a remarkable result is validated and compared with conventional solutions by calculating the power loss based on I-V curves and the switching loss data of the adopted commercial switches and the current waveforms obtained through PSIM simulations.

The path analysis of carbon emission reduction: A case study of the Silk Road Economic Belt

  • This paper uses super-efficiency DEA model and Malmquist index to evaluate the carbon emission efficiency (CEE) values of the nine western provinces along the "Silk Road Economic Belt" for the period from 2000 to 2015, and analyses the influencing factors of the CEE. The major findings of this study are the following: (1) the overall CEE of the nine western provinces is not high, and there are significant inter-provincial differences in the CEE. Meanwhile, the provinces with higher levels of economic development generally have higher CEE. (2) The annual total factor productivity (TFP) of the nine western provinces, which is mainly determined by technological change, is greater than 1. Moreover, the total average growth rate of the TFP is 15.5%. (3) The CEE of the nine western provinces is not spatially dependent. In addition, the urbanization, openness, use of energy-saving technologies and research and development (R&D) investment have a significant positive impact on the CEE values, while the industrial structure, foreign direct investment, fixed asset investment, government expenditure levels and energy structure have a significant negative impact on the CEE. Among them, R&D investment is the primary factor in promoting the development of CEE, and the government expenditure has the greatest negative impact on the CEE.

  • This paper presents the performance investigation and design technology of a Line Start-up Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (LSPMSM) with super premium efficiency, including a design consideration and evaluation for motor start-up, key performance, and advanced finite element analysis FEA) for the design, improvement and verification, prototype build and test, design and test data comparison with a $Premium^{(R)}$ Efficient Induction Motor (PEIM). To assess the design technology, the LSPMSM prototype was built amended from a PEIM with the same frame, stator punching and rated output. Based on the prototype test, two novel design improvements and analyses have been done to eliminate noise and vibration. Additionally, the comparisons with the PEIM on the power factor, efficiency, frame size and active material consumption indicated that a significant performance improvement and active material cost reduction can be achieved by the LSPMSM.

동북아시아지역 신용보증기관의 효율성 분석과 정책적 함의: 일본, 대만, 한국 신용보증기관의 비교분석 (Efficiency Analysis of Credit Guarantee Institutions in North-eastern Asian Countries and Its Implication : Comparison Analysis of Credit Guarantee Corporations of Japan, Taiwan, and Korea)

  • 본 연구는 신용보증제도가 효과성 높은 중소기업지원 수단의 하나로서, 그 성과를 업무성격이 다른 국내 공공기관들과 비교하는 것보다 매우 유사한 형태로 운영되고 있는 일본, 대만 신용보증기관과의 글로벌 효율성 비교가 훨씬 유용할 수 있다는 측면에서 3개국 70개 기관의 2016년도 효율성을 DEA모형과 초효율성 모형을 통해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 우리나라 신용보증기관들의 효율성이 일본에 비해 다소 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 효율적으로 운영되고 있는 DMU의 숫자도 비교적 적정한 것으로 분석되었다. 초효율성점수는 히로시마, 대만SMEG, 부산, 지바, 시즈오카, 울산, 기보 순으로 나타났다. 또한, 대부분의 신용보증기관들은 규모수익상태가 체증규모수익상태에 있는 것으로 분석되어 적정수준의 투입 증가전략을 추진하는 것이 효율적일 수 있는 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 우리나라와 일본간 효율성 격차는 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 보였다. 정책적 시사점으로는 첫째, 일본 신용보증제도의 동향에 대한 주기적 분석이 필요하며, 둘째, 신용보증규모가 국가경제 및 중소기업정책에 미치는 영향을 파악하여야 하고, 셋째, 효율성 결정요인에 관한 분석이 필요하며, 넷째, 비효율의 원인을 고려하여 효율성 개선전략의 방향성을 정립하여야 하고, 다섯째, 다각적인 측면에서 효율성 측정이 이루어질 필요가 있음을 제시하였다.

  • Even though efficiency of coal-fired power plant is proportional to operating temperature, increasement of operating temperature is limited by a technological level of each power plant components. It is an alternative plan to increase operating pressure up to ultra super critical point for efficiency enhancement. It is difficult to control in that pressure within safety guideline that many unexpected phenomena are happen because that region is highly nonlinear region. In this paper, Advanced process control algorithm, ARX and Fuzzifier, is introduced. Then power plant control logics applied Unit Step Optimizer, which is combination of ARX and Fuzzifier are proposed. Its performance is tested and analyzed with design guide line.

  • This study is concerned with computerized multi-level substructuring methods and stress analysis of coil springs. The purpose of substructuring methods is to reduce computing time and capacity of computer memory by multiple level reduction of the degrees of freedom in large size problems that are modeled by three dimensional continuum finite elements. In this paper, the spring super element developed is investigated with tension, torsion, and bending of a cylindrical bar in order to verify its accuracy and efficiency for the multi-level substructuring method. And then the algorithm is applied to finite element analysis of coil springs. The result demonstrates the validity of the multi-level substructuring method and the efficiency in computing time and memory by providing good computational results in coil spring analysis.

Therefore, high thermal insulation of windows system can speak as very important part in save energy of building. in this research, After select most suitable frame design and Glazing system for high thermal insulation of windows, execute simulation of mixing frame and Glazing System. Also, manufacture windows with the result and execute verification experiment, with verified simulation, this research evaluated thermal insulation performance of window by Glazing System's change.

  • 초고층 건축물은 일반적 건축물에 비해, 구조, 환경적 분야 뿐 아니라 시공 분야에서도 골조공사와 마감공사의 시공방법, 재료, 공사관리 등에서 차이점이 있다. 특히 초고층 건축물 시공에서 요구되는 다양한 관리기법 중 양중계획 및 관리는 핵심적인 분야이며, 건설공사에 필요한 인원 및 자재와 같은 자원을 리프트카와 같은 양중기계장비를 이용하여 효율적으로 수직이동하여야 한다. 그러나 리프트카의 경우 초기 수립된 계획과 실제 운영에 차이가 발생하는 경우가 많고 이러한 비효율성으로 인해 문제가 발생하는 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서는 양중작업에 사용되는 리프트카를 대상으로 건축마감공사의 자원물량에 근거한 양중부하 산정 방법 및 예측 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 그 결과 리프트카 운행시간 및 사이클타임을 계산하여 총 양중장비 가동시간 및 양중가능 물량을 산출할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 양중장비조합을 위한 의사결정 지원 모델 구축을 위한 연구로 발전시켜 나갈 것이다.

  • There arc some problems on storage batteries which are called Secondary Battery, such as long charging time, limited cycle life, low coulomb efficiency and inaccurate residual power meter. To solve those problems, a complex system of capacitors and Super Capacitors of increased energy density. Though the capacitors alone arc not capable of delivering stable output, the accompanied circuits compensate the various characteristics all through the charge-and discharge-cycle. This paper deals with Energy Storage System with Super Capacitor for PV System Discussed in this paper are, explains the accompanied circuits of Super Capacitor which is compared with the Second Batteries.
