This study was to compare the major kinematic factors between the success and failure group on performing the back somersault motion in floor exercise. Three gymnasts(height : $167.3{\pm}2.88cm$, age : $22.0{\pm}1.0years$, body weight : $64.4{\pm}2.3kg$) were participated in this study. The kinematic data was recorded at 60Hz with four digital video camera. Two successful motions and failure motions for each subject were selected for three dimensional analysis. 1. Success Trail It was appear that success trail was larger than failure group in projection velocity, but success trail was smaller than failure trail in projection angle. Also it was appear that success trail was longer than failure group in the time required. Hand segment velocity and maximum velocity in success trail were larger than those in failure trail, and this result was increasing the projection velocity and finally increasing the vertical height of center of mass. At the take-off(event 2), flection amount of hip and knee joint angle was contributed to the optimal condition for the take-off and at the peak point, hip and knee joint angle was maximum flexed for reducing the moment of inertia. Also in this point, upper extremities of success trail extended more than those of failure trail. in this base, success trail in upward phase(p3) 2. Failure Trail It was appear that failure trail was smaller than success trail in projection velocity, but failure trail was larger than success trail in projection angle. Also it was appear that failure trail was more short than success trail in the time required. Hand segment velocity and maximum velocity in failure trail were smaller than those in success trail, and this result was reducing the projection velocity and finally reducing the vertical high of center of mass. At the take-off(event 2), flection amount of hip and knee joint angle wasn't contributed to the optimal condition for the take-off and at the peak point, hip and knee joint angle wasn't maximum flexed for reducing the moment of inertia. Also in this point, upper extremities of failure trail didn't extended more than those of success trail.

India has accorded a high priority to road infrastructure development through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and it has set a high target for investment inflows. Yet, it is widely held that road/highway infrastructure has not been developing at required pace and that the road infrastructure projects under PPP have been suffering from several hurdles and delays, thereby affecting project success/failure. This paper is an attempt to analyze the critical success/failure factors of road infrastructure projects under PPP in India. A questionnaire survey was conducted among a sample of the stakeholders of road infrastructure projects to identify the critical success/failure factors during all four major project stages using different approaches. Initially, the critical factors were identified through ranking based on the average/mean score. Later, the conventional RII score was used to identify the critical success/failure factors. Finally, the critical success/failure factors were also identified based on the stakeholder-wise ranking of the factors and their convergence. The assessment revealed that there was a greater convergence across the different methods and also that there was greater consensus among project stakeholder on the critical success/failure factors of road PPP projects.
This study divided straight success, pade success and failure with 7male golfers who have experiences more than 3 years, analyzed kinematic factors of golf swing to suggest scientifically. The conclusions were follows. 1) The wrist angle has significant difference in straight success, pade success and failure when swing of every pattern. There is no significant difference in pade success and failure. 2) The body twist angle has no significant difference in straight success, pade success and failure when swing of every pattern. There is no significant difference in pade success and failure. 3) The shoulder joint rotation angle has no significant difference in success, pade success and failure when swing of every pattern. There is no significant difference in pade success and failure. 4) The left hip joint vertical angle has no significant difference in straight success, pade success and failure when swing of every pattern. There is no significant difference in pade success and failure. 5) The hip joint rotation angle has no significant difference in straight success, pade success and failure when swing of every pattern. There is no significant difference in pade success and failure. 6) The trunk angle has no significant difference in straight success, pade success and failure when swing of every pattern. There is no significant difference in pade success and failure. 7 )The left knee joint angle has no significant difference in straight success, pade success and failure when swing of every pattern. There is no significant difference in pade success and failure. This study divided golf swing motion of pattern change in straight success, pade success and failure and analyzed the kinematic factors by 3-dimension cinematography to improve performance. In the future, many researchers have to study kinematic analysis to improve performance in every events.
We wanted to show the different group dynamics of factors for success and failure cases for technology commercialization in small technology-based firms. Existing studies are based on product level, project level, division level or firm level. We deal with technology level, and at small-technology-based firms. This is a longitudinal case study based on 8 cases from Korea. Our study on technology level is a first trial in success and failure studies unlike all existing studies. As a first step, we introduced new categories and factors such as technology attributes and CEO reflecting data, and especially a new concept of launch readiness level. Finally, we adopted correspondence analysis to show the group dynamics. The results are as follows; Technology factors are the most important factors. Second, resource-based factors are more critical in failure cases than success cases and technology factors are more critical to success.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between parental attribution and self-perception in parenting roles according to parenting success or failure situations. A total of 138 mothers who have toddlers in Seoul and other big cities in Korea completed questionnaires, and data were analyzed by paired t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Fisher's Z score, and multi-regression. The results are as follows: First, mothers in parenting success situations showed higher parental attribution than mothers in parenting failure situations. Second, correlations between parental attribution and self-perception in parenting roles turned out to be significantly different between parenting success situations and failure situations. Third, both internal attribution such as ability and effort, and external attribution such as child behavior and task difficulty, significantly predicted self-perception in parenting roles including equilibrium feeling, competence, satisfaction and parenting investment, especially in parenting failure situations. The implications of the difference in parental attribution between parenting success and failure situations have been discussed.
The previous BPR success factor research assumes that a success factor is responsible for both the success and failure of the BPR implementation. This paper proposes that a BPR success factor is not necessarily a failure factor, i.e., success and failure of BPR implementation are two distinct phenomena that possess different sets of causal factors. The paper also proposes that the factors are different in terms of the degree and type of influence they exert on the BPR implementation. An empirical research was conducted to validate the propositions. The research results indicate that the BPR success and failure have different causal factor sets, and that the factor influence manifests in different realms and domains. The implications of the research are discussed at the end.

We investigated the implicit representations of success/failure associated with mother in male and female college students. In study 1, participants were presented 'mother' or 'basket' as a context prime and 'success' or 'failure' related words as second primes for 100ms, and were asked to make lexical decisions about 'accept' or 'reject' related words and non-words after 150 ms (SOA 250ms). Results revealed that lexical decision times on the mother condition were more rapid than the ones on the basket condition, and lexical decision times on the acceptance condition were more rapid than the ones on the rejection condition, and female participants showed shorter times than male students did. In study 2, we divided participants into four groups by gender and attachment style, Results showed that the interaction between success/failure and acceptance/rejection was statistically significant, that is, quickest lexical decision times on the success-acceptance condition, and slowed times on failure-acceptance, failure-rejection, and success-rejection condition in order. On the other hand, no significant differences between high and low attachment group were found in males, but significant three-way interactions were found in females. In highly attached females, lexical decision times in success-acceptance condition were not differed from ones in success-rejection condition, and slowed times in failure-rejection condition. Low attached females showed very rapid times in success-acceptance condition, but very slow times in success-rejection condition. The results were discussed in terms of self-positivity and success/failure scheme depending on gender and attachment styles.
A Markov-modulated Bernoulli process is a generalization of a Bernoulli process in which the success probability evolves over time according to a Markov chain. It has been widely applied in various disciplines for modeling and analysis of systems in random environments. This paper focuses on providing analytical characterizations of the Markovmodulated Bernoulli process by introducing key metrics, including success period, failure period, and cycle. We derive expressions for the distributions and the moments of these metrics in terms of the model parameters.

The object of the project management is to succeed in the project. However, could you definitely judge that the result of project performance is a success? In addition, do both customer and developer agree with the result of your judgement? There are a lot of definitions and measure for the success and failure of the software development suggested, but there is no definite standard for the classification. This paper examines the measures in order to decide the development success and re-defines the success and the failure of the project. We suggest the measure and the standard that judge the project achievement based on these definitions. Applying the suggested measure and standard, it is possible to reduce arguments between the customer and the developer on the classification of the success and the failure.

This research was conducted to reveal the characteristics of breeding ecology of oriental scops owl (Otus sunia stictonotus) inhabiting in South Korea according to the nest types during the breeding season from march to October for two years (2011 and 2012). Oriental scops owl nested in woodpecker's nest holes (46.1%), natural tree holes (38.5%), and artificial wood boxes (15.4%). These nests were located on following trees: Zelkova serrata, Paulownia coreana, Celtis sinensis, Salix chaenomeloides, Salix babylonica, Fraxinus rhynchophylla, Robinia pseudoacacia and Platanus occidentalis. The hatching success was 91.4%, fledging success was 83.0%, and breeding success was 75.9%. The factors of the breeding failure were falling (57.1%), abandonment (28.6%), hatching failure (7.1%), and others with unknown cause of death (7.1%). According to nest types, the fledging success (69.2%) of woodpecker's nest holes were low and the hatching success (79.2%) of natural tree holes were also low due to hatching failure and abandonment. However, hatching success, fledging success, breeding success were high in the artificial nests as all the eggs hatched and succeeded in fledging. Therefore, we suggested that artificial nests can cover the weaknesses of natural nests as well as increasing the breeding success. However, long-term research on installation place, height, and hole sizes of the artificial nest are required in order to clearly reveal the effects on the breeding success of oriental scops owl.
