The purpose of this study is to find out the commercialization characteristics of 2nd class residential district in innercity railway station area as basic research to protect urban residential area against the pressure of commercialization. Through the research that are based on literature, field survey and urban planning map, it analysed the commercialization characteristic of selected three sites under similar urban condition; to be a nearby subway station and to be a famous commercial street in site, etc. The consequences of this study are summarized as follows; First it finds the commercialized lots in all blocks that adjoin blocks of upper class zoning. Second it is in inverse proportion between the commercialization of lots and the distance from subway station to residential block. Third, the corner lot of a block and the access road directly connected collector road are very important factors to spread commercialization to residential area. Finally, it finds the difference of the commercialization degree of 2nd class residential zone according to arrange main commercial street and the 2nd class residential block; vertical arrangement and horizontal arrangement.

When determining a meeting place, it is always a cumbersome problem to select an appropriate store with a short travel time for all participants. In this paper, to solve this problem, we propose an algorithm that recommends the best place and store based on the subway station and develop the system. This system provides a web-based store information registration function that allows self-employed people to register and promote their store, and provides an app-based function to recommend a meeting place to participants. The proposed algorithm reduces the travel time of all participants based on the subway map and improves fairness by using the standard deviation of the required time. In addition, this system presents a new way for self-employed people who have recently relied only on publicity through delivery apps.

The framework plan for the development of an integrated underground space map was established of preventing ground subsidence. The mapping process is expected to be completed to the level of nationwide municipal government standards by end of this year. To facilitate the utilization of the integrated underground space map, paper-based drawings for specialized organizations in underground safety impact assessment have been provided since September 2018, and services for local government officials have been provided in the underground information utilization system since May 2019. However, the map is utilized based on the information at the time of the initial development of the map, without any updates, thereby resulting in a lack of accuracy and latest information. This has led to a decrease in the utilization and reliability of the information. Therefore, in this study, for the underground structures(subway, underground shopping mall, underground passage, underground roadway, underground parking lot, utility tunnel), which are the key components of the integrated underground space map, a standard format for the submission of completed drawings is designed in accordance with Article 42 (2) of the Special Act on Underground Safety Management, which aims at laying the foundation for establishing the updated system of the integrated underground space map. In addition, through the verification of the automatically updated underground structure data based on the standard format, the reliability of the data can be assured. This format is expected to contribute to the improved utilization of the integrated underground space map in the future.

Recent development of related technologies and efficient utilization of the entire country for the purpose of railway construction, and plans are being accelerated. the railway noise has been improved by increasing the high speed railway station, and accelerating the existing trains. Nord2000 which is an overseas noise prediction equation could not be applied directly to the domestic railway vehicles. So the specific vehicles in the Nordic countries which is a similar specification to domestic trains should be selected. Nord2000's accuracy was compared to Schall03, CRN's. Prediction of Ground impedance and Roughness class were carried out at different. In this paper, the result of selected vehicles for Nord2000 was as follows. S-1aX2 was for express trains, N-$^*2c$-3b was for Mugunghwa, S-Pass/wood was for Saemaul, N-4a was for freight trains, N-3a was for subway, the calculation time for Nord2000 took longer than others, in addition, Ground absorption was indispensable to calculate a noise map for Nord2000. As a result, CRN's prediction noise levels at Wonju-si was closest to the measurements. However, the predicted noise levels of Nord2000 was the most accurate.
The utilization of underground space has recently increased with the complication of road, the rise of the land price, and the development of green technology. Underground space ranges from classical excavations to subway, underground cities, and shopping malls where there are crowds of people. At this time, government has spent a lot of money in installing various types of safety facilities for preparations of increasing potential disasters. Therefore, an effective facility management system is required. In this paper, we propose an information retrieval process to effectively extract the facilities' information based on the ontology and spatial analysis in underground space. The ontology-based searching supports hierarchical and associated results as well as knowledge sharing with hierarchy concepts. The spatial analysis based searching has "Buffer" and "Near" functions to operate on a map without understanding any property of the facility information.
Geotechnical Information System (GTIS) for efficient management of three dimensional borehole data has been developed. Geotechnical maps in the vicinity of Bulkwangdong, Seoul station, Itaewon, Han river near Yuido, and Jungrangchon were constructed by Kriging method. In Bulkwangdong and Jungrangchon area where boundary between granite and gneiss is present, gneiss has been more weathered than granite, but in Seoul station and Itaewon area where the boundary is also present, granite has been more weathered than gneiss. It has been inferred that when Seoul granite intruded, the strength of gneiss in Bulkwangdong and Jungrangchon area was lowered by the attitude of foliation plane than in Seoul station and Itaewon area, so the gneiss has been easily fractured and weathered in Bulkwangdong and Jungrangchon area. Geotechnical map in the vicinity of Yuido showed that there is an NW-SE trend weakness zone that might be affected by major faults under Han river and it is expected that the fault zone may be present in construction area of Kyoungbu Highspeed Railway that lies below the Han river like the Subway Line No.5.
The Seoul Metro has been playing a vital role in public transportation for last 35 years as the feet of 10 millions of Seoul citizens. It currently takes charge of over 45% of the national subway transit and transports 4 millions of citizens a day. The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan for crew members' working condition improvement and job satisfaction improvement which will lead to the finest quality of service to the citizens. We examined the working conditions of the crew members and surveyed crew members about the working conditions and the extent of job satisfaction. The results of our study can also be used as basic materials for building the road map to the management improvement.
The latest hardware and software techniques are combined to give safe walking guidance and convenient service of realtime walking assistance system for visually impaired person. This system consists of obstacle detection and perception, place recognition, and sign recognition for pedestrian can safely walking to arrive at their destination. In this paper, we exploit the sign object detection system in subway station for sign recognition that one of the important factors of walking assistance system. This paper suggest the adaptive feature map that can be robustly extract the sign object region from complexed environment with light and noise. And recognize a sign using fast zernike moment features which is invariant under translation, rotation and scale of object during walking. We considered three types of signs as arrow, restroom, and exit number and perform the training and recognizing steps through adaboost classifier. The experimental results prove that our method can be suitable and stable for real-time system through yields on the average 87.16% stable detection rate and 20 frame/sec of operation time for three types of signs in 5000 images of sign database.

The integrated underground space map shows the underground facility(water supply, sewage, gas, electric power, communication, heating), underground structures (subway, underpass, underground walkway, underground parking lot, underground shopping mall, common ward), ground(drilling, coffin, geology) refers to a map constructed so that a total of 15 types of underground information can be checked at a glance on a three-dimensional basis. The purpose of this study is to develop a technology to correct the problem of curved surface processing and the unevenness of underground facility pipelines that occur in converting 2D underground facility data into 3D-based underground space integrated map(3D underground facility model). do it with. To this end, we first investigated and reviewed the domestic and foreign status of technologies that generate data on underground facilities based on three dimensions, and developed a surface correction algorithm and an unevenness correction algorithm to solve practical problems. Algorithms to verify the developed algorithm This applied correction program was developed. Based on the above process, the three-dimensional model of the underground facility could be produced identically to reality. This study is judged to have significance as a basic study to improve the utilization of the underground spatial integration map.

ITIS is applied to the several tunnel construction sites in Korea. Tunnel construction properties which are acquired from these sites are transferred to information management server(SQL 2000 server)by client application program in real time. Access permission to DB server depends on the user's roles. Some functions which cannot be embodied in SQL Server are serviced through XML and GMS server is used for spatial data based on GIS part. This system is supposed to give engineers the advantages which are not only easy handling of the program and computerized documentation on every information during construction but also analyzing the acquired data in order to predict the structure of ground and rock mass to be excavated later and show the guideline of construction. Neung-Dong tunnel and Mu-Gua express way tunnel are now under construction and with this system they have 3D visualized map of the geology and tunnel geometry and accumulate database of construction information such as tunnel face mapping results, special notes and pictures of construction and 3D monitoring data, all matters on the stability of rock bolts and shotcrete, and so on. Ground settlement prediction program included in ITIS, based on the artificial neural network(ANN) and supported by GIS technology is applying to the subway tunnel. This prediction tool can make it possible to visualize the ground settlement according to the excavation procedures by contouring the calculated result on 3D GIS map and to assess the damage of buildings in the vicinity of construction site caused by ground settlement.
