피츠버그 수면척도를 이용한 사상체질별 수면 비교 (Comparison of Sleep by Sasang Constitutional Type Using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify differences in sleep by Sasang constitutional type using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI). Methods The subjects of this study were 3,578 people who had information on Sasang constitutional type and PSQI among the data established at the Korean Medicine Data Center. We compared each item score in PSQI (subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep duration, habitual sleep efficiency, sleep disturbance, use of sleep medication, daytime dysfunction) and PSQI global scores by Sasang constitutional type using analysis of variance. Logistic regression was conducted to calculate the odds ratio of poor sleep by Sasang constitutional type. Results & Conclusions The SE type showed statistically significantly higher scores than the TE type and SY type in subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, habitual sleep efficiency, sleep disturbance, and PSQI global score, indicating poor sleep compared to other constitutional types. The odds ratio for poor sleep also shows that even after adjusting sex, age, height, and weight, the SE type was significantly higher than other constitutional types, indicating that the SE type could be a risk factor for poor sleep.

계획된 행위 이론을 적용한 모유수유의지 및 행위의 예측요인 분석 (Prediction of Breastfeeding Intentions and Behaviors : An Application of the Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • The majority of studies on breastfeeding consists of descriptive correlational studies identifying the incidence and correlates of breastfeeding. The theory of planned behavior has been shown to yield great predictive power for behavioral goals over which individuals have only limited control such as improving school grades and weight loss. The purpose of this study was to test the "theory of planned behavior" in the prediction of breastfeeding of mothers who delivered vaginally, One hundred mothers who delivered vaginally in one general hospital in Seoul and one general hospital and three private hospitals in Taejeon participated in this study. The instruments used for data collection in this study were developed by the researchers following the guidelines suggested by Ajzen & Fishbein(1980) and Ajzen & Madden(1986). The instruments included measurement of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and intention. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson product moment correlation, hierachical multiple regression and logistic regression. The results are as follows ; 1. Intention to breastfeed correlated significantly with attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control. Both attitude and subjective norm did not make a significant contribution to the prediction of intention, but the addition of perceived behavioral control to the regression equation greatly improved the model's predictive power, increasing the R²from .05 to .52. 2. Intention to breastfeed alone had a significant predictive effect on actual breastfeeding, resulting in a regression coefficient of .16(X²=8 60, p<.01), but when perceived behavioral control was added to the equation, intention was not a significant predictive variable and only perceived behavioral control showed significant predictive power on actual breastfeeding, resulting in a regression coefficient of .12(X²=4.69, p<.05). In sum, breastfeeding behavior lent only partial support to the second version of the theory of planned behavior, and because perceived behavioral control had a strong effect on intention to breastfeed and actual breastfeeding, It would be desirable to develop nursing intervention programs which focus on strengthening the perceived behavioral control for the promotion of breastfeeding.

셀룰라아제 처리된 데님직물의 태에 관한 연구(제4보) - 섬유의 조성에 따른 주관적인 태 평가- (The Assessment of Hand for Enzyme Hydrolyzed Denim Fabrics(Part IV) -Effect of Fiber Content -)

  • The assessment of hand of the denim fabrics finished by enzymatic hydrolysis will be discussed in this study. The subjective hand and the preference of the denim fabrics finished by enzymatic hydrolysis were evaluated using the developed scale(Part I). The factors affecting consumer's taste for denim fabrics were analyzed by statistics using SAS program. Also, the enzymatic of hydrolysis on the properties of denim fabrics were evaluated by subjective hand measurements. The results are as follows; Regarding the surface properties and the weight, Tencel was evaluated to be the finest, the smoothest, the most flexible, the warmest, the most refined, the sleekest, the flossiest, the lightest the softest, and the thinnest among the four kinds of fabrics. The other fabrics in the order of cotton/Tencel, cotton, cotton/PP were evaluated to qualify the listed touches. Tencel was evaluated to be the loosest and the weakest among the four kinds of denim. Cotton was evaluated to have the driest touch. In addition, the fabrics were evaluated to be more elastic and less wrinkly in the order of Tencel > cotton > cotton/Tencel > cotton/ PP. For the hand preference, the fabrics were ranked in the order of Tencel, cotton, cotton/Tencel, cotton/PP, where tencel is the moat preferred. Cotton/Tencel and cotton/PP showed negative values in the hand and the color preference, meaning that the evaluators disliked their touches. Hand preference of enzyme hydrolyzed cotton/Tencel and cotton/PP denims do not seem to appeal to Korean people.

혼방 및 연사방법에 따른 춘하용 아크릴 니트소재의 주관적 감성평가 (The Subjective Sensibility Evaluation of the S/S Acrylic Fabrics Knitted with Various Blended and Twisted Yarns)

  • We performed the subjective sensibility evaluation on knitted fabrics by the following procedures: setting acrylic fabrics used for S/S among fabrics as basis, five kinds of blended spun yarns and four kinds of twisted filament yarns made by different twisting methods then, we did questionnaire survey targeting sixty females in the expert groups. Utilizing SPSS 12.0, correlation, ANOVA, Duncan, and Multidimensional Standard way were analyzed. The results are as following. First, the result of evaluating on preferred knits followed by the analysis of the sense factor, in the 'drape sense', the acrylic/rayon blended knit was preferred as the most flexible, pliable, and elastic knit; in weight/bulk factor, the acrylic filament knit the most twisted was preferred as the least bulk, thin, cool and transparent knit; in 'surface depression sense' factor, A(F)W acrylic/wool blended knit was preferred as the most haggard, straight, dry knit. Second, the result of evaluating on preferred knits followed by the analysis of the sensibility factor, in the 'neatness' the acrylic filament hit was preferred as the most clean, neat and delightful knit; in the 'comfortableness', the acrylic/wool blended knit was preferred as the most natural, stable, and comfortable knit. Third, according to the result of evaluating on preferred knits as the spring and summer, generally the acrylic filament twisted yarn knits were more preferred than the acrylic blended yarns. However the preference on the kinds of the acrylic twisted filament yarn showed that there is a little difference on the acrylic blended yarn knit.

사용자 선호도를 반영한 FUZZY-AHP 기반 맞춤형 쿠폰 추천 모델 (Customized Coupon Recommendation Model based on Fuzzy AHP Reflecting User Preference)

  • 소셜 네트워크 서비스가 보편화되면서 사용자들은 소셜 커머스를 통해 상품을 저렴하게 구입할 수 있는 할인 쿠폰서비스를 많이 이용하고 있다. 현재 소셜 커머스에서 제공되는 쿠폰의 양은 크게 증가하고 있으나, 사용자의 선호도를 반영한 맞춤형 쿠폰 서비스는 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소셜 커머스를 위한 맞춤형 쿠폰 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 음식 쿠폰을 대상으로 사용자의 주관적 성향을 반영한 쿠폰 서비스 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 음식 종류, 가격, 할인율, 구매자수 등과 같은 쿠폰을 선택하는 기준이 되는 요소를 계층화하고, 주관적 성향을 반영한 의사결정 지원 방법인 Fuzzy-AHP를 이용하여 쿠폰을 분류하고 추출하여 제공하였다. 추출된 쿠폰에 대한 사용자의 만족도를 조사한 결과, 매우 만족은 45%, 만족 33%, 보통 22%로 대체적으로 만족스러웠으며 불만족하는 실험자는 없었다.

한 대학 신입생의 흡연과 건강관련행위 및 자각증상과의 연관성 (Health-Related Behaviors and Subjective Symptoms Associated with Smoking of Freshmen in a University)

  • This study was to examine the association of the health-related behaviors and subjective symptoms with smoking. Data were collected by questionnaire survey during regular health examination from Mar. 23 to Mar. 31, 1992 for 1,615 male freshmen of a university in Kwangju City. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Among the freshmen, 26.9% reported that they were smokers. 69.4% for smokers started smoking for the recent 4 years, and 63.4% for smokers smoked 10 cigarettes or more a day. 2. Meal regularity, meat eating, use of coffee or tea and alcohol drinking were positively associated with the status, the duration and the amount of smoking while the vegetable preference was negatively associated with the status and the duration of smoking. 3. There was no evidence of familial aggregation in smoking status except that of siblings. 4. Respiratory symptoms like cough or phlegm, dyspnea were positively associated with the status, the duration, and the amount of smoking. General symptoms like chest pain, fatigue, back pain, facial edema, and weight loss were positively associated with the duration and the amount of smoking. Other symptoms like headache, dizziness, and myalgia were not associated with smoking. 5. In multivariate logistic regression analysis, cough or phlegm, dyspnea, chest pain, facial edema, and back pain were related to smoking status.

미디어아트의 정량적 평가체계에 대한 연구 (Framework for the Quantitative Evaluation of Media Arts)

  • 예술작품의 평가는 작품의 제작과 감상자체가 매우 정성적인 가치관을 기반으로 한다는 전제아래 객관적으로 수치화 하려는 노력을 찾아보기 어려웠다. 이에 1960년대 말 이후로 후기 모더니즘적 사조 내에서 급격히 증가하는 미디어아트를 중심으로 기존의 예술평가의 핵심이 되었던 감상자의 주관적 의견을 최대한 반영할 수 있으며 동시에 미디어아트에 포함되는 기계적, 제품적 측면도 동시에 검토할 수 있는 정량적 평가체계의 구축을 시도하였다. 이에 따라 제시되는 평가체계의 항목에는 매체평가, 작품평가, 감상평가, 상품평가, 전시평가를 포함하였으며 관람자의 미디어아트에 대한 경험수준에 따라 일반감상자, 미디어아트 전문가 그리고 전시관련 업종 종사자, 즉 전시기획자로 분류하여 평가를 실행하도록 하였다. FGD를 거쳐 평가자에 따라, 그리고 평가항목에 따라 가중치를 적용하여 작품에 대한 객관적인 비평과 주관적 선호도를 적절하게 적용하는 평가체계가 되도록 수정하였다.

지속성 외래 복막투석 환자의 투석기간에 따른 영양상태 (A Study on Nutritional Status during Dialysis in Patients Undergoing Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis)

  • Patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis are at risk for protein-energy malnutrition because of nutrient losses during dialysis. This study determined the nutritional status of patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Forty-four patients receiving CAPD were divided into two groups according to dialysis period. We investigated the nutritional status of the patients by measuring anthropometric and biochemical parameters, as well as food intake, self-appetite, dietary habits, a subjective global assessment, and a total nutritional status assessment. Group I subjects (7 males, 13 females) had received dialysis for < 2 years, whereas the group II subjects (18 males, 6 females) received dialysis for ${\geq}$ 2 years. Energy intake with added dextrose in the dialysate per kg of body weight was $30.3{\pm}5.8$ kcal in group I and $29.0{\pm}8.1$ kcal in group II. The average protein intake per kg of weight was $1.0{\pm}0.3$ g in group I and $1.0{\pm}0.4$ g in group II, which were less than the recommended protein intake for patients undergoing CAPD (1.2-1.5 g/kg). Mean serum albumin level was significantly lower in group II than that in group I (p < 0.05). A recent self-appetite score was significantly higher in group II than that in group I (p < 0.01). The dietary habits score was significantly lower in group II than that in group I (p < 0.05). The subjective global assessment was significantly higher in group I (85.0%) than that in group II (54.2%) under normal nutrition status (p < 0.05). The dialysis period was significantly and negatively correlated with the subjective global assessment (r = -0.502, p < 0.01) and the total nutritional status assessment (r = -0.575, p < 0.01). These results demonstrated that patients undergoing CAPD for ${\geq}$ 2 years had worse nutritional status than those who had been undergoing dialysis for < 2 years. Good nutritional status can predict the long-term survival of patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis. Additionally, the exact evaluation of nutritional status before 2 years will be important to maintain long-term dialysis therapy in patients undergoing CAPD.

선택적 가중치를 이용한 깊이 영상 업샘플링 알고리즘 (Depth Image Upsampling Algorithm Using Selective Weight)

  • 본 논문은 양방향 가중치를 이용하는 기존의 업샘플링 방법들에서 나타난 색상 텍스쳐 복사(color texture copy) 문제를 방지하기 위해 선택적 양방향 가중치와 라플라시안 함수를 이용한 색상 가중치를 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 먼저 3차 회선 보간법(bicubic interpolation)을 통해 높은 해상도의 깊이영상을 생성한다. 그 후 색상영상과 깊이영상의 주변 화소값 차이를 이용하여 색상 텍스쳐 영역을 추정한다. 만일 보간 된 화소가 색상 텍스쳐 영역에 속한다면 해당화소를 포함하는 $3{\times}3$ 영역의 화소들에 대한 거리정보와 깊이정보의 가중치를 구하고 경계 화소값 결정을 위한 비용계산을 수행한다. 반면에 색상 텍스쳐 영역에 포함되지 않는 화소는 깊이정보 가중치 대신 색상정보 가중치를 구하여 비용계산을 수행한다. 아홉 개의 화소에 대한 비용계산이 끝나면 가장 작은 경계 화소값 결정 비용을 가지는 화소 값을 결과영상의 화소값으로 정한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 PSNR 및 주관적 화질 비교에서 우수한 성능을 보였다.

Nutritional Assessment of Cancer Patients in Tehran, Iran

  • Background and objectives: Weight loss and malnutrition are common among cancer patients, these two factors greatly affecting survival and quality of life during treatment. Since cancer is becoming increasingly common in the world and in order to provide better treatment measures, it is important to identify and prevent side effects. The present study has been conducted in 2010 on a sample of cancer patients in the oncology center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences to determine the prevalence rates of malnutrition and the factors affecting it. Methods: The PG-SGA standard questionnaire was administered to 416 cancer patients to evaluate their nutrition status and determine the frequency of each malnutrition stage. Correlations and ANOVA tests were used to analyze the relationship between factors and weight loss and how they might affect the development of malnutrition. Results: The prevalence of malnutrition among the patients was 53.1% out of which 29.1% had moderate and 24% had severe malnutrition. The most common factors inducing nutritional symptoms were depression and anorexia. Some 35 % of the patients had over 5% weight loss in the last mouth. The average PG-SGA score was 10.1 with 49 being the highest. 46.1 percent of the patients scored over 9 (requiring critical nutrient intervention). Malnutrition has a high correlation with weight loss, activity limitations, nutritional symptoms, and cancer stage, but low correlation with treatment and pathologic type. Conclusion: Malnutrition has a high prevalence in Iranian cancer patients and has a close relationship with mortality, morbidity and treatment-related problems and also quality of life. Therefore, periodical assessment by PG-SGA to detect malnutrition in patients should be made so that appropriate nutritional interventions can be provided.
