시맨틱 웹 자원의 랭킹을 위한 알고리즘: 클래스중심 접근방법 (A Ranking Algorithm for Semantic Web Resources: A Class-oriented Approach)

  • We frequently use search engines to find relevant information in the Web but still end up with too much information. In order to solve this problem of information overload, ranking algorithms have been applied to various domains. As more information will be available in the future, effectively and efficiently ranking search results will become more critical. In this paper, we propose a ranking algorithm for the Semantic Web resources, specifically RDF resources. Traditionally, the importance of a particular Web page is estimated based on the number of key words found in the page, which is subject to manipulation. In contrast, link analysis methods such as Google's PageRank capitalize on the information which is inherent in the link structure of the Web graph. PageRank considers a certain page highly important if it is referred to by many other pages. The degree of the importance also increases if the importance of the referring pages is high. Kleinberg's algorithm is another link-structure based ranking algorithm for Web pages. Unlike PageRank, Kleinberg's algorithm utilizes two kinds of scores: the authority score and the hub score. If a page has a high authority score, it is an authority on a given topic and many pages refer to it. A page with a high hub score links to many authoritative pages. As mentioned above, the link-structure based ranking method has been playing an essential role in World Wide Web(WWW), and nowadays, many people recognize the effectiveness and efficiency of it. On the other hand, as Resource Description Framework(RDF) data model forms the foundation of the Semantic Web, any information in the Semantic Web can be expressed with RDF graph, making the ranking algorithm for RDF knowledge bases greatly important. The RDF graph consists of nodes and directional links similar to the Web graph. As a result, the link-structure based ranking method seems to be highly applicable to ranking the Semantic Web resources. However, the information space of the Semantic Web is more complex than that of WWW. For instance, WWW can be considered as one huge class, i.e., a collection of Web pages, which has only a recursive property, i.e., a 'refers to' property corresponding to the hyperlinks. However, the Semantic Web encompasses various kinds of classes and properties, and consequently, ranking methods used in WWW should be modified to reflect the complexity of the information space in the Semantic Web. Previous research addressed the ranking problem of query results retrieved from RDF knowledge bases. Mukherjea and Bamba modified Kleinberg's algorithm in order to apply their algorithm to rank the Semantic Web resources. They defined the objectivity score and the subjectivity score of a resource, which correspond to the authority score and the hub score of Kleinberg's, respectively. They concentrated on the diversity of properties and introduced property weights to control the influence of a resource on another resource depending on the characteristic of the property linking the two resources. A node with a high objectivity score becomes the object of many RDF triples, and a node with a high subjectivity score becomes the subject of many RDF triples. They developed several kinds of Semantic Web systems in order to validate their technique and showed some experimental results verifying the applicability of their method to the Semantic Web. Despite their efforts, however, there remained some limitations which they reported in their paper. First, their algorithm is useful only when a Semantic Web system represents most of the knowledge pertaining to a certain domain. In other words, the ratio of links to nodes should be high, or overall resources should be described in detail, to a certain degree for their algorithm to properly work. Second, a Tightly-Knit Community(TKC) effect, the phenomenon that pages which are less important but yet densely connected have higher scores than the ones that are more important but sparsely connected, remains as problematic. Third, a resource may have a high score, not because it is actually important, but simply because it is very common and as a consequence it has many links pointing to it. In this paper, we examine such ranking problems from a novel perspective and propose a new algorithm which can solve the problems under the previous studies. Our proposed method is based on a class-oriented approach. In contrast to the predicate-oriented approach entertained by the previous research, a user, under our approach, determines the weights of a property by comparing its relative significance to the other properties when evaluating the importance of resources in a specific class. This approach stems from the idea that most queries are supposed to find resources belonging to the same class in the Semantic Web, which consists of many heterogeneous classes in RDF Schema. This approach closely reflects the way that people, in the real world, evaluate something, and will turn out to be superior to the predicate-oriented approach for the Semantic Web. Our proposed algorithm can resolve the TKC(Tightly Knit Community) effect, and further can shed lights on other limitations posed by the previous research. In addition, we propose two ways to incorporate data-type properties which have not been employed even in the case when they have some significance on the resource importance. We designed an experiment to show the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm and the validity of ranking results, which was not tried ever in previous research. We also conducted a comprehensive mathematical analysis, which was overlooked in previous research. The mathematical analysis enabled us to simplify the calculation procedure. Finally, we summarize our experimental results and discuss further research issues.

환경분쟁조정제도의 현황과 과제 (Environmental Dispute Adjustment System : Current Status and Issues)

  • Rapid industrial growth based on massive fossil fuel energy consumption has caused serious damages on natural environment and every aspects of human life. As demands for clean and pleasant living circumstance increases, conflicts and disputes around environmental problems have also been widespread. Given the 'environmental rights' is a relatively new legal concept, however, resolving environmental disputes through the traditional legal principles and litigation procedures could be restrictive and, in some sense. inefficient as well as expensive. With efforts to develop new legal principles on environmental disputes, the environmental dispute adjustment system has been introduced as an alternative dispute resolution to the traditional legal dispute procedures. The Korean Environmental Dispute Resolution Commission introduced as the environmental dispute adjustment system has been well established for the past twenty-seven years, given the steadily increasing numbers of applications to the Commission over environmental disputes. However, as most cases are still small in money terms and mainly subject to adjudication, the effectiveness and practical contribution of the Commission in the resolution of environmental disputes have in fact been limited. For the enhancement of the status and roles of the Commission as the prior instrument of the alternative dispute resolution(ADR) in environmental disputes, several suggestions could be considered as follows: First, mediation needs to be more activated than adjudication in order to meet the primary purpose of ADR that resolves environmental disputes according to free will of concerned parties. Second, the scope of mediation could be expanded to the areas including potential environmental damages. Third, the roles and responsibilities of the Environmental Dispute Resolution Commissions at both central and local levels need to be evenly distributed. Fourth, the mechanism and procedures of environmental dispute resolution should be standardized. Fifth, the status of the Environmental Dispute Resolution Commission could be elevated in rank by shifting its current affiliation from the Ministry of Environment to the Office of Prime Minister. Sixth, the organizational structure and human resources of the Commission need to be reinforced. Seventh, the current situation that tends to give priority to litigation procedures when an environment dispute is simultaneously pending in litigation and mediation should be eased and properly adjusted. Eighth, the adoption of mandatory mediation in advance to litigation needs to be discussed. Ninth, the legal authority of the Commission's decisions should be further guaranteed. If above suggestions are thoroughly reviewed and properly adopted, the roles, authority and power of the Environmental Dispute Resolution Commission would be increased in the era when environmental conflicts get widespread, requiring an effective alternative environmental dispute resolution mechanism.

  • 본 논문에서는 고속도로의 합류지점 상황에서 자율주행을 위한 운전 모드 결정 알고리즘의 개발 및 평가를 진행하였다. 합류 상황을 위한 자율주행 알고리즘 개발에 있어 적절하게 합류를 결정하는 운전 모드 결정이 필수적이다. 운전자 모드는 총 2가지로 차선 유지, 차선 변경(합류)이다. 합류 모드 결정은 주변 차량의 정보 및 합류 차선에 남은 거리를 기반으로 결정된다. 합류 모드 결정 알고리즘에서는 합류 가능 여부를 판단하고 합류가 가능할 때, 안전하고 빠르게 합류하기 위한 최적의 위치를 찾는다. 안전 주행 영역은 주변 차량의 정보 및 주행 모드를 기반으로 정의된다. 안전 주행 영역으로 자율주행 차량을 유지하기 위한 조향각과 종방향 가속도를 얻기 위해 여러 제한 조건이 더해진 강건 모델 예측기법이 사용되었다. 본 논문에서 제안된 알고리즘은 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 이용해 검증되었다.

개념제시자의 특성이 고등학생의 물리 개념 변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Instructors' Characteristics on the Concept Change of Korean High-School Students.)

  • Knowledge is composed through the interaction between the concept structure already held by students and their experience, and learning can be said to be the active process of solving the cognitive conflict caused by this interaction. Therefore, this study consists in showing the effective learning method and finding out the elements which the teacher has to own, through examining several forms of pre-conception or mis-conception of the inertia, the force-equilibrium, the action and reaction, the heat, and the electric current, and then finding out their solution and studying student's change in science concepts. For this study, the types of concept on the five above-mentioned materials which students have were examined through the concept-classifying question paper, and the classes to which the class mode for the change of concepts applied, were practised in each different classroom by each different instructor - a professor, a scientist, a teacher, and two students, respectively. And the effect of the teaching strategy based on these classes, and each different instructor' influence on the change of concept in students. were examined. The result of my study is as follows; 1. Students have various types of pre-conception which are different from science concept, and these types of pre-conception tend to last even after learning in class. 2. The thoughts on the correct science concept of the high school third-grade students who learned the physics in the traditional teaching method, and the second grade students who don't learn the physics yet, were nearly equal those of the second grade students by receiving the physics class through the cognitive conflict course were greatly changed especially that students showed the distinct change on mechanics and electric current. 3. Students didn't show the remarkable change of the science concept on the five materials in the four kinds of experimental classes by each different instructor but in the part of mechanics, there was the distinct change between the class by professor and those by the students. This was due to the difference of the authority and the attitude of the concept demonstrator. 1) The authority, the kind attitude, and the responsibility of the expert played an important role in the correct concept-formation of mechanics part - especially in the case of the mis-conception caused by the intuitive belief. 2) In the class by instructor with the democratic teaching method, the change of concept took place more easily, because in his class students could discuss the subject freely, so that they might experience the thought course to give them the confidence on the science concept.

CHAT을 이용한 사회문화적 관점에서 교육실습에 참여하는 예비과학교사의 수업 설계 및 실행 과정 분석 (The Process of Pre-service Science Teachers' Designing and Implementation of Lessons in Teaching Practice from Sociocultural Perspective Using CHAT)

  • 이 연구에서는 예비과학교사가 교육실습에서 수업을 설계하고 실행하는 과정을 CHAT을 활용하여 심층적으로 분석하였다. 서울특별시에 소재한 사범대학의 화학교육과에 재학 중인 예비교사 5명이 연구에 참여하였다. 예비교사들의 교육실습을 참관하며 문서 자료를 수집하였고, 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 근거이론에 기반한 지속적 비교 방법으로 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 예비교사들은 수업 설계를 위한 결정 권한이 부족하여 어려움을 겪었고 지도교사와 직접적인 갈등을 겪기도 하였다. 또한 예비교사들은 교과 오리엔테이션과 수업 참관으로도 수업 설계를 위한 맥락적 정보를 충분히 얻기 어려웠으며 이는 예비교사들의 수업 설계에도 어려움을 가져왔다. 연속된 차시의 수업을 여러 명의 예비교사가 나누어 맡을 경우, 수업의 연속성이 떨어지는 등의 여러 문제점이 나타났다. 예비교사들이 학생들을 평가할 수 있는 권한은 제한적으로 주어져 예비교사들은 추가적인 평가를 실시하였다. 예비교사들이 평가를 실시할 때 전문성이 부족한 모습이 나타났는데, 이에 대한 원인은 사범대학의 교육과정에서 찾을 수 있었다. 이상의 연구 결과가 갖는 의미와 이 결과를 바탕으로 더 나은 교육실습을 제공하기 위한 방향을 논의하였다.

모방전략을 이용한 해운선사 안전관리 수준 평가제도 도입방안 연구 (Study on the Introduction of Safety Management Level Evaluation System for Shipping Company by Imitation Strategy)

  • 국가 간 국제무역 확대로 인한 물동량 증가, 국민의 삶의 질 향상에 따른 해양레저 활동의 증가 등 해상교통 환경은 빠르게 변하고 있다. 또한 선원의 고령화, 외국인 선원 증가 등 선박운항 환경도 변화하고 있다. 이러한 해상교통 및 선박운항 환경변화에 따라 시장에서는 해운선사의 수준 높은 안전관리 능력을 요구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 해운선사의 해양사고, 항만국통제, 안전관리체제 등 개별 제도에 따른 안전관리 결과를 종합적으로 평가 및 관리할 수 있는 제도 도입을 위하여 국내외 유사사례를 조사 분석하고 모방전략을 적용했다. 모방전략을 이용한 연구결과에 있어서 모방산업과 제도는 건설업체 환산재해율 산정제도, 교통안전 우수사업자 지정제도를 선정했다. 두 제도를 분석하여 모방대상으로 근거법률, 평가지표, 인센티브를 추출하고 해운선사 안전관리 수준 평가제도를 위한 근거법 도입, 해양사고율, 항만국통제 점검률, 안전관리체제 심사율로 구성된 평가지표와 안전점검의 면제, 수수료 감면 및 심사시간 단축 등의 인센티브 방안을 제안하였다. 또한 제도의 신속한 도입과 지속적인 시행을 위한 모방시점과 방법을 단계별로 제시하여 제도의 지속발전이 가능하도록 하였다.

FSM을 이용한 해양안전정보시스템의 고도화 구조모델 연구 (A Study on the Advancement Structure Model of Maritime Safety Information System(GICOMS) using FSM)

  • 국제해사기구(IMO)는 해상에서의 안전과 보안, 환경의 보호를 위해 선박의 출항에서 입항에 이르기까지 항해와 관련된 정보를 전자 적인 방법으로 조화롭게 공유 통합 표현 분석하기 위해 e-Navigation 이라는 전략적 추진체계를 수립, 채택, 실행을 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 e-Navigation의 실효적 시행에 대비하여 국내에서 운영 중인 GICOMS에 요구되는 개선방안 및 추가 시스템을 식별하기 위한 구조모델을 수립하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 GICOMS의 문제점을 조사하고, 전문가그룹의 브레인스토밍(brainstorming) 과정을 통해 GICOMS 개선을 위한 9개의 추진과제를 도출하였다. 이들 과제에 대하여 퍼지구조모델(FSM, Fuzzy Structural Modeling)을 이용하여 의식구조를 분석하고 요소 간 상호관계를 파악할 수 있는 구조모델을 제시하였다. 그 결과 GICOMS 개선방안 으로 "GICOMS 고도화"가 최상위층레벨 요소로 파악되었고, 최하층레벨은 "정보생산체제 개선", "정보제공방안 개선", "GICOMS와 VTS 상호연동"과 "글로벌 안전협력 네트워크 구축"으로 나타났다. 중간층레벨은 "e-Navigation 대응체계 구축", "해양사고예방체계 강화", "VMS 기능 고도화"와 "이용 활성화"로 파악되었다. 특히 최종목표인 "GICOMS 고도화"는 "VMS 기능 고도화"와 "이용 활성 화" 항목으로부터 많은 영향을 받고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 구축한 GICOMS 고도화 구조모델을 기반으로 최첨단 IT를 활용한 시설 장비 전문인력의 개선 및 보강과 해양종사자 중심의 이용자 전환 등의 고도화 방안을 제시하였다.

1950년에서 2016년까지 한국에서 발표된 기공관련 연구 동향 (Research Trends on Gigong in Korea from 1950 to 2016)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to understand trends of "Gi-Gong" related studies from 1950 to 2016 and to help guide the research direction of Gigong study. Methods : The computerized Korean database was searched from 1950 to 2016. The search terms used were only Korean language terms such as '기, '기공', '도인', '명상', '생체에너지', '수련', '양생'. Results : 1. A total of 310,184 (155,565(1950~2007) + 13,705(2016) + 140,914(2008~2016)) studies were searched in this study. A total of 6,240 studies were finally selected as Gigong related studies. 2. In the results according to the Main Subject Categories(KCI;Korea Citation Index), the 'Humanities' was the largest with 2,686 studies and the 'Marine Agriculture, Fishery' was the least with 10 studies. 3. In the results according to the Middle Subject Categories(KCI;Korea Citation Index), the 'Philosophy' was the largest with 1,014(16.26%) studies. 4. A result of the Gigong Categories showed that the 'Philosophy of Gi' was the highest with 2,151(33.82%) not including duplication. 5. As a result of Research Method, the most frequently used method was 'Analysis Research' with 4,199(67.33%) studies. 6. In the author search, 'Kim Nak Pil' was searched 112 times and was the most.. 7. The journal that published the most relevant studies with Gigong was 『Conference Proceedings OF The Korean Society OF Jungshin Science』 (189), and the university that had the largest number of studies related to Gigong was 'Wonkwang University'(212). Conclusions : 1. The number of Gigong related studies had increased rapidly from the late 1990s to the early 2000s, and reached to a peak in 2007 and has been gradually increasing since 2008. 2. The three major academic fields of Gigong related studies are Thought Field, Korean Medicine Field, and Kinesic Field. 3. In the Gigong related studies, the best authority is 'Kim Nak-pil' and the most active academy is the 'Korean Society OF Jungshin Science'. 4. Although most categories of Gigong have been generally studied evenly, studies on External Gi Therapy and Taoist Sexual Practices are very insufficient.

라캉의 정신분석적 관점에서 해명된 초등학교폭력의 이해와 예방 (Understanding and Prevention of Violation in the Elementary School by J. Lacan's Psychoanalysis)

  • 학교폭력이라는 개념은 오늘날 우리 사회의 핵심 키워드가 되었다. 학계 차원에서는 이미 1990년대 초부터 학교폭력의 심각성을 구체적으로 논의하기 시작했다. 그러나 날이 갈수록 학교폭력의 양상은 점점 더 다양해지고 흉악해졌다. 이에 학교폭력의 문제는 학계와 지역사회의 차원에서만 다루어져야 할 사항이 아니라, 범정부의 차원에서 다루어져야 한다는 주장이 쇄도했으며 이러한 운동은 결국 국회를 움직여 법령을 제정하게 하고, 범정부적 대책기구까지 상정하게 하였다. 그러나 학교, 지역사회, 정부차원 등 다방면의 예방노력에도 불구하고 학교폭력의 양상은 더 흉포해지고 조직화되고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 특히 가해자와 피해자가 중 고등학생 중심에서 초등학생으로 저연령화되고 있다. 또한 많은 연구들은 초등학교 저학년 때 학교폭력을 경험한 아동이 고학년이 되어 가해자가 될 수 있는 가능성이 높다는 점을 명시적으로 보여준다. 따라서 초등학교 저학년을 위한 학교폭력 예방 프로그램의 개발이 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 우선 첫째로, 라캉의 주체 개념을 해명하고, 둘째로, 학교폭력 발생의 원인과 폭력의 양상을 분석하고, 셋째로, 지금까지 제안된 학교폭력을 위한 중요 예방 프로그램의 문제점을 지적하고, 넷째로, 라캉의 정신분석적 도덕교육의 관점에서 학교폭력예방을 위한 대안을 제시하고자 한다.

고등학교(高等學校) 해사영어(海事英語) 교과영역(敎科領域)과 평가방법(評價方法)의 개선(改善) - 4·5급(級) 해기사(海技士) 면허시험(免許試驗)과 관련하여 - (Improvement in the Syllabus of Maritime English for High School and the Method of Examination for Certification -Relating to the 4th and 5th Class Marine Officer License Examination-)

  • It is indispensable for the marine officers who are engaged in the international voyage to make command of maritime English fluently. The Marine Officers Act in Korea which is under ammending in 1989 prescribes the proportion of maritime Englishin English examination is made to be 60% for the 4th and 5th class marine officer-license examination. A concrete syllabus or content of maritime English is not established yet with the exception of a general prescription of minimun knowledge required for certification of marine officers in the IMO/STCW Convention. The authors, who rewrote the maritime English textbook for the course of the fisheries high, schools and the merchant marine high schools, settled the syllabi of nautical English and marine engineering English for the course as follows : 1. The syllabus of nautical English, includes maritime English readings, the IMO English dialogue on port entry, writing of logbooks, night order books, and docking and repair specifications. 2. The syllabus of marine engineering English includes maritime English readings, dialogue on oil supply, writing of engine logbooks and oil record books, standing orders, and docking and repair specifications. The authors propose that the realm of these class marine officer-license examination on maritime English should be limited within in the above mentioned textbook. As maritime English is made to be included in the 4th and 5th marine officer liscence examination since 1989, high schools concerned need to reform the curricula to complete at least 6 units for this subject. On the other hand, the competent authority of this examination must secure questions as much as possible to promote the reliability of them.
