화염 영역 검출을 위해 이전 기법에서는 화재 이미지에서 연기제거 및 색상보정을 통해 이미지를 전처리하였다. 그러나 이 기법은 임계값에 영향을 많이 받고, 밝기채널을 이용하여 검출하기 때문에 밤에 일어난 화재 이미지에서는 평균이상의 퍼포먼스를 수행하지만, 주변이 밝은 대낮의 화재 이미지에서는 퍼포먼스가 줄어드는 문제가 있다. 이를 보완하고자 본 논문에서는 CycleGAN을 이용하여 낮 이미지를 밤 이미지로 바꾸어 이미지 전처리를 진행하는 기법을 제안함으로써 화염 감지의 정확도가 개선되었음을 실험을 통해 보여준다.

과제 지향 대화 시스템은 발화 의도 및 요구사항을 파악하여 사용자가 원하는 과제를 달성한다는 점에서 유용하다. 대화 상태 추적은 과제 지향 대화 시스템의 핵심 모듈이며, 최근에는 텍스트뿐만 아니라 시각 정보까지 활용하여 대화 상태를 추적하는 멀티모달 대화 상태 추적 연구가 활발히 진행되는 중이다. 본 논문에서는 멀티모달 공황장애 상담 대화 속 내담자의 상태를 추적하는 과제를 제안하였다. ChatGPT를 통한 멀티모달 공황장애 상담 과제 지향 대화 데이터셋 구축 프레임워크와, 구축한 데이터셋의 품질을 증명하기 위한 분석도 함께 제시하였다. 사전학습 언어 모델인 GPT-2를 벤치마크 데이터셋에 대해 학습한 성능을 측정함으로써 향후 멀티모달 대화 추적 성능이 능가해야 할 베이스라인 성능을 제시하였다.

As the importance and dependency of the positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) information provided by the radio navigation satellite service (RNSS) increases, the vulnerability of RNSS to jamming can lead to significant risks. The signal design under the consideration of anti-jamming performance helps to provide service which is robust to jamming environment. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the jamming robustness performance during the design of new signals. In this paper, we introduce figures-of-merit (FoMs) that can be used for an anti-jamming performance analysis of designed signals of interest. We then calculate the FoMs, such as the quality factor (Q factor), tolerable jamming-to-signal ratio (tolerable J/S), and range to jammer (d) for legacy RNSS signals and analyze the results. Finally, based on the results of the analysis, we derive waveform design conditions to obtain good anti-jamming performance. As a result, this paper shows that the waveforms with wide bandwidth leading to good spectral efficiency provide strong anti-jamming performance.

This paper presents a multi-frequency and multi-constellation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signal generator that simulates intermediate frequency level digital signal samples for testing GNSS receivers. GNSS signal generators are ideally suited for testing the performance of GNSS receivers and algorithms under development in the laboratory for specific user locations and environments. The proposed GNSS signal generator features a fully-reconfigurable structure with the ability to adjust signal parameters, which is beneficial to generate desired signal characteristics for multiple scenarios including multi-constellation and frequencies. Successful signal acquisition, tracking, and navigation are demonstrated on a verified Software Defined Radio (SDR) in this study. This work has implications for future studies and advances the research and development of new GNSS signals.

본 논문에서는 Semi-Lagrangian 이류 과정에서 역추적(Backward tracing)한 위치의 주변 속도를 Divergence-constrained MLS(Moving least squares)를 이용하여 보간하고 그 결과를 이류된 속도 데이터의 외력으로 적용해 연기 시뮬레이션의 난류 표현을 개선할 수 있는 새로운 프레임워크를 제안한다. 일반적인 MLS는 고차보간법이기 때문에 시간에 따른 연속성 보장이 안 되기 때문에 그 결과가 노이즈한 형태로 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 연기의 원본 속도와 제안하는 기법을 통해 생성된 속도 간의 각도 변화를 통해 난류를 생성하며 이를 통해 안정적이고 연기의 밀도를 이류시킨다.

The emergence of a new severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic has become a significant health concern worldwide. Undoubtedly, a better understanding of the innate and adaptive immune responses against SARS-CoV-2 and its relationship with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pathogenesis will be the sole basis for developing and applying therapeutics. This review will summarize the published results that relate to innate immune responses against infections with human coronaviruses including SARS-CoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 in both humans and animal models. The topics encompass the innate immune sensing of the virus to the dysregulation of various innate immune cells during infection and disease progression.

This study is about developing an app that offers tourist information and it was made to search festivals, camping, and glamping regions near the area. Also, by providing cooking recipe, it was made to provide convenience at the tour site. While searching recommended regions, it offers help in searching accommodations and checking in and checking out process. If the service is expanded nation-wide from the Gyeonggido area that this study was applied to, it will be more convenient for users and if the service is expanded and coupled with local coupons, quality services will be provided.

Pile foundations constructed on extremely cold regions cause serviceability problems of superstructures from repeated actions of ground freezing and thawing. Oil sand module plants are mainly constructed on seasonal frozen ground. Due to the freezing and thawing actions of grounds, vertical movements of piles have been observed. To solve these erratic pile movement problems, thin vertical layer of PET aggregates is installed around the pile shaft to prevent potential unfavorable pile movements. There is no known method to calculate "thin PET aggregate layer" -surrounded pile shaft resistance (capacity) against vertical loads; therefore, this experimental research is conducted. Specifically, in this study, horizontal (normal) pressures on pile shaft were assessed varying PET aggregate layer thickness based on the experiment.

Objectives : Insufficient sleep could have harmful effects on mental health. We examined the mental health status of Korean adolescents according to daily sleep time and subjective sleep satisfaction using a nationwide representative sample of Korean adolescents. Methods : Data from the 2016 Korean Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey was used. Sleep duration on weekdays and subjective sleep satisfaction during the past week were asked. Participants' perceived health, happiness, stress, depressive mood, and suicidality during past 12 months were also investigated. Participants were classified by mean duration of daily sleep time and the level of sleep satisfaction, and the odds of having mental health problems were compared. Results : Compared to adolescents who slept more than 6 hours per day and satisfied with their sleep, adolescents who slept less than 6 hours per day and/or dissatisfied with their sleep were less likely to perceive themselves healthy and happy. They were also more likely to have severe stress, depressive mood, and suicidality, with highest odds ratios among adolescents with both short and dissatisfying sleep. Conclusions : Given the significant associations between sleep insufficiency and mental health problems, attention to the sleep shortage among Korean adolescents is needed. Prospective studies are warranted to elucidate the causal relationships between subjective and objective sleep insufficiency and psychiatric conditions.

A 9-year-old, mixed-breed, castrated male dog presented with a one-week history of severe vomiting. Abdominal radiography showed a dilated small intestine loop. Abdominal ultrasonography showed small-intestine distension up to 5 cm in diameter without mechanical obstruction. During exploratory laparotomy, an aperistaltic ileal segment was resected. There was no narrowed cavity in the resected plane. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical findings confirmed visceral myopathy due to intestinal adenocarcinoma in the ileum and revealed partial destruction of the longitudinal and circular muscles with fibrosis. Chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction caused by adenocarcinoma was diagnosed after considering the above investigative results.
