Sparse unmixing has been proven to be an effective method for hyperspectral unmixing. Hyperspectral images contain rich spectral and spatial information. The means to make full use of spectral information, spatial information, and enhanced sparsity constraints are the main research directions to improve the accuracy of sparse unmixing. However, many algorithms only focus on one or two of these factors, because it is difficult to construct an unmixing model that considers all three factors. To address this issue, a novel algorithm called multiview-based spectral weighted and low-rank row-sparsity unmixing is proposed. A multiview data set is generated through spectral partitioning, and then spectral weighting is imposed on it to exploit the abundant spectral information. The row-sparsity approach, which controls the sparsity by the l2,0 norm, outperforms the single-sparsity approach in many scenarios. Many algorithms use convex relaxation methods to solve the l2,0 norm to avoid the NP-hard problem, but this will reduce sparsity and unmixing accuracy. In this paper, a row-hard-threshold function is introduced to solve the l2,0 norm directly, which guarantees the sparsity of the results. The high spatial correlation of hyperspectral images is associated with low column rank; therefore, the low-rank constraint is adopted to utilize spatial information. Experiments with simulated and real data prove that the proposed algorithm can obtain better unmixing results.
Motion estimation (ME) algorithms supporting quarter-pixel accuracy have been recently introduced to retain detailed motion information for high quality of video in the state-of-the-art video compression standard of H.264/AVC. Conventional sub-pixel ME algorithms in the spatial domain are faced with a common problem of computational complexity because of embedded interpolation schemes. This paper proposes a low-complexity sub-pixel motion estimation algorithm in the transform domain utilizing shifting matrix. Simulations are performed to compare the performances of spatial-domain ME algorithms and transform-domain ME algorithms in terms of peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and the number of bits per frame. Simulation results confirm that the transform-domain approach not only improves the video quality and the compression efficiency, but also remarkably alleviates the computational complexity, compared to the spatial-domain approach.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the distribution characteristics of spatial and temporal PM2.5 in urban areas of Changwon-si, and to identify the causes of PM2.5 by comparing the characteristics of land-use, and to suggest the direction of reduction measures. As the basic data, the every hour average from September 2017 to August 2018 of Airpro data, which has measurement points in kindergartens, elementary schools, and some middle and high schools in Changwon-si was used. Also, by using IDW method among spatial interpolation methods of GIS, monthly and time-slot distribution maps were constructed, and based on this, spatial and temporal PM2.5 distribution characteristics were confirmed. First, to verify the accuracy of the Airpro data, the correlation with AirKorea data managed by the Ministry of Environment was confirmed. As a result of the analysis, R2 was 0.75~0.86, showing a very high correlation and the data was judged that it was suitable for the study. In the monthly analysis, January was the highest year, and August was the lowest. As a result of analysis by time-slot, The clock-in time at 06-09 was the highest, and the activity time at 09-18 was the lowest. By administrative district, Sangnam-dong, Happo-dong, and Myeonggok-dong were the most severe regions of PM2.5 and Hoeseong-dong was the lowest. As a result of analyzing the land-use characteristics by administrative area, it was confirmed that the ratio of traffic area and commercial area is high in the serious area of PM2.5. In conclusion, the results of this study will be used as basic data to grasp the characteristics of PM2.5 distribution in Changwon-si. Also, it is thought that the severe regions and the direction of establishing reduction measures derived from this study can be used to prepare more effective policies than before.
Atmospheric nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is mainly caused by anthropogenic emissions. It contributes to the formation of secondary pollutants and ozone through chemical reactions, and adversely affects human health. Although ground stations to monitor NO2 concentrations in real time are operated in Korea, they have a limitation that it is difficult to analyze the spatial distribution of NO2 concentrations, especially over the areas with no stations. Therefore, this study conducted a comparative experiment of spatial interpolation of NO2 concentrations based on two linear-regression methods(i.e., multi linear regression (MLR), and regression kriging (RK)), and two machine learning approaches (i.e., random forest (RF), and support vector regression (SVR)) for the year of 2020. Four approaches were compared using leave-one-out-cross validation (LOOCV). The daily LOOCV results showed that MLR, RK, and SVR produced the average daily index of agreement (IOA) of 0.57, which was higher than that of RF (0.50). The average daily normalized root mean square error of RK was 0.9483%, which was slightly lower than those of the other models. MLR, RK and SVR showed similar seasonal distribution patterns, and the dynamic range of the resultant NO2 concentrations from these three models was similar while that from RF was relatively small. The multivariate linear regression approaches are expected to be a promising method for spatial interpolation of ground-level NO2 concentrations and other parameters in urban areas.

Soil properties are not random values which is represented by mean and standard deviation but show spatial correlation. Especially, soils are highly variable in their properties and rarely homogeneous. Thus, the accuracy and reliability of probabilistic analysis results is decreased when using only one random variable as design parameter. In this paper, to consider spatial variability of soil property, one-dimensional random fields of coefficient of consolidation ($C_v$) were generated based on a Karhunen-Loeve expansion. A Latin hypercube Monte Calro simulation coupled with finite difference method for Terzaghi's one dimensional consolidation theory was then used to probabilistic analysis. The results show that the failure probability is smaller when consider spatial variability of $C_v$ than not considered and the failure probability increased when the autocorrelation distance increased. Thus, the uncertainty of soil can be overestimated when spatial variability of soil property is not considered, and therefore, to perform a more accurate probabilistic analysis, spatial variability of soil property needed to be considered.

In this study, it proposes a mode converter that is relatively easy to implement and can shorten the transmission line length of the final combining port and it was fabricated and tested by applying it to an 8-way spatial combiner. The proposed mode converter converts the signal converted from the doorknob-shaped circular disk connected to the ground into the TM01 mode by opening it in the circular waveguide. The 8-way waveguide spatial combiner is designed and implemented so that 8 signals input from the H-plane are combined in a circular waveguide at the center, and the final combining mode is TM01. The test results confirmed excellent performance with an insertion loss of less than 0.4dB and a combining efficiency of 95% or more. In addition, it was confirmed that it is suitable for high output by calculating the breakdown voltage and discharge threshold power of the new mode conversion structure through electric field analysis. The results confirmed through this study are expected to be applicable to high-power, high-efficiency SSPA in various fields in the future.
Fine dust is a substance that greatly affects human health, and various studies have been conducted in this regard. Due to the human influence of particulate matter, various studies are being conducted to predict particulate matter grade using past data measured in the monitoring network of Seoul city. In this paper, predictive model have focused on particulate matter concentration in May, 2019, Seoul. The air pollutant variables were used to training such as SO2, CO, NO2, O3. The predictive model based on Adaboost, and training model was dividing PM10 and PM2.5. As a result of the prediction performance comparison through confusion matrix, the Adaboost model was more conformable for predicting the particulate matter concentration grade. Although air pollutant variables have a higher correlation with PM2.5, training model need to train a lot of data and to use additional variables such as traffic volume to predict more effective PM10 and PM2.5 distribution grade.
Particulate matter(PM) among air pollutants with complex and widespread causes is classified according to particle size. Among them, PM2.5 is very small in size and can cause diseases in the human respiratory tract or cardiovascular system if inhaled by humans. In order to prepare for these risks, state-centered management and preventable monitoring and forecasting are important. This study tried to predict PM2.5 in Seoul, where high concentrations of fine dust occur frequently, using two ensemble models, random forest (RF) and extreme gradient boosting (XGB) using 15 local data assimilation and prediction system (LDAPS) weather-related factors, aerosol optical depth (AOD) and 4 chemical factors as independent variables. Performance evaluation and factor importance evaluation of the two models used for prediction were performed, and seasonal model analysis was also performed. As a result of prediction accuracy, RF showed high prediction accuracy of R2 = 0.85 and XGB R2 = 0.91, and it was confirmed that XGB was a more suitable model for PM2.5 prediction than RF. As a result of the seasonal model analysis, it can be said that the prediction performance was good compared to the observed values with high concentrations in spring. In this study, PM2.5 of Seoul was predicted using various factors, and an ensemble-based PM2.5 prediction model showing good performance was constructed.

The earthquake-resistant structural systems have to ensure the sufficient stiffness and ductility for the stability. For those purposes, recently, the performance design concept to increase the degree of absorbed energy level of structures has been proposed. One practical way of the performance design in the spatial structures is to apply the isolation system to boundary parts of roof system and sub-structure to obtain the target performance. So, it is necessary to examine the characteristics of dynamic behavior of spatial structures governed by higher modes rather than lower modes different from the cases of high rise buildings. The objectives of this paper are to develop the equivalent lumped mass model to simplify the analytical processes and to investigate the dynamic behavior of roof system according to the mass and the stiffness of sub-structures as a fundamental study of performance design for the spatial structures.

Detection in remotely sensed images can be conducted spatially, spectrally or both [2]. If the images have high spatial resolution, materials can be detected by using spatial and spectral information, unless we can't see the object embedded in a pixel. In this paper, we intend to solve the limit of spatial resolution by using the hyperspectral image which has high spectral resolution. Therefore, the Linear Spectral Mixing(LSM) Model which is sub-pixel detection algorithm is used to solve this problem. To find class Endmembers, we applied Geometric Model with MNF(Minimum Noise Fraction) transformation. From the result of sub-pixel detection algorithm, we can see the detection of water is satisfied and the object shape cannot be extracted but the possibility of material existence can be identified.
