This study investigates the effect of related variables (types of job, term of employment, working time, job satisfaction, payment satisfaction and, working stress) on the sense of hopelessness felt by married males. The study was conducted on 237 male employees residing in Busan, and measurement devices for study were job-related variables, working stress and hopelessness scale. The study used SPSS 12.0 program to analyze data, and conducted item analysis and reliability test for measure establishment. Average, Standard deviation, one-way ANOVA, scheffe-test, Pearson correlation, and path analysis through regression analysis were conducted pertaining to research subject. The result of this study is as follows; First, working stress has significant difference upon types or working, term of employment and job satisfaction. Office workers relatively have longer term of employment and workers who are less satisfied with job suffer from more working stress. Second, hopelessness has significant difference upon term of employment, job satisfaction and payment satisfaction among job-related variables. Thus, hopelessness is relatively less when term of employment is shorter and job satisfaction and payment satisfaction is higher. Third, variables which affect directly to working stress and hopelessness are term of employment $(\beta=.245)$, payment satisfaction $(\beta=-.182)$ and working stress $(\beta=.189)$, and types of job, term of employment and job satisfaction influences hopelessness indirectly through working stress. In conclusion, workers are more negative when term of employment is longer, payment satisfaction is less and working stress is higher. Moreover, longer term of employment and less job satisfaction contribute to higher working stress and eventually influence hopelessness. Term of employment affects the most to hopelessness $(\beta=.274)$, and it is followed by working stress $(\beta=.189)$ and payment satisfaction $(\beta=-.182)$.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction level of dental hygienists with supplementary education. The subjects in this study were 305 dental hygienists, on whom a survey was conducted from September 26 to December 10, 2009. Methods : The instrument used in this study was questionnaires that consisted of three sections: educational environments, the content and method of education, and educational administration. Results : The findings of the study were as follows: 1. In terms of satisfaction level with supplementary education, they gave a mean of 3.13, which was on the average. The dental hygienists who worked in public dental clinics, who had a 10 years or more of career and who worked in the provinces expressed more satisfaction. 2. In terms of satisfaction level with educational environments, they gave a mean of 3.22. They were most gratified with lecturers(3.34), and they expressed the least satisfaction with educational opportunities(3.14). 3. In terms of satisfaction level with the content and method of education, they gave a mean of 3.15. They were most contented with the professionalism of education, and they expressed the least satisfaction with the ratio of theory and practice(2.92). 4. In terms of satisfaction level with educational administration, they gave a mean of 3.02. They were most satisfied with the application procedure(3.22), and they expressed the least satisfaction with educational cost and publicity(2.91). Conclusions : Educational institutions that provide supplementary education should reinforce small-group supplementary education for each district, provide systematic practice-centered educational programs and offer streamlined administration service to boost the satisfaction level of dental hygienists.

This study focused on the analysis of residential satisfaction depending on the extent of the application of environmental-friendly elements on the outdoor space of the apartment complexes. The purpose of this study is to present the basic materials of the environmental-friendly outdoor space planning of residential complexes. The major findings of the study are as follows. First, the results of the comparative analysis of the satisfaction of the outdoor space of apartment complexes show that the complexes with the most application of environmental-friendly elements had higher residential satisfaction. But, there was no meaningful statistical difference between the complexes with the highest level of application of the environmental-friendly elements and the complexes with medium level of application. Secondly, according to a comparative analysis, the overall residential satisfaction of the apartment complex was the same as the residential satisfaction of the outdoor space. Therefore, the overall satisfaction of the apartment complex seems to be influenced by the satisfaction of the outdoor space. Thirdly, the results of the correlative analysis of the satisfaction of the apartment complex showed that the satisfaction of the apartment complex increases as the satisfaction of the outdoor space of the apartment complex increases. The results of this study can be used as the basic materials for environmental-friendly outdoor space planning of apartment complexes.
This study was designed to examine the educational conditions of a foodstylist and student satisfaction with the training. It looked at the educational conditions of the food-stylist department, one of relatively newly-emerging departments, and examined student satisfaction by each factor in order to have specific problem in the educational conditions. The purpose of this study was to maintain higher student satisfaction and to have competitive advantage over the other related departments. For the general information of respondents, most respondents said the monthly average income to be approximately 1.5 times higher than that of common workers in the country, showing that the food-stylist department is preferred by the class with economic ability. For admission motives, respondents used the information via mass communication when they choose it For general educational conditions, students have most satisfaction with the originality of department, at the score of 3.79, following by laboratory and vision in the order. The least satisfaction was in career guidance, reflecting that they have vague ideas where to work. For the theoretical course of study, it was found that ‘Introduction to Table Coordination’ had the highest satisfaction, 3.82, following by ‘Coloring’ and ‘Understanding on Oriental and Occidental Tablewares’ in the order. ‘Food and Beverage Service’ and ‘Public Health’ were found to have the least satisfaction, showing that those subjects do not cause any interest in terms of their property. For the satisfaction of practical training course, it was found ‘Cocktail Practices’, ‘Bakery and Confectionary Practices’, and ‘Understanding of Wines’ in the order, showing that practical subjects with high visuality have higher satisfaction. Further studies are necessary to examine the satisfaction with subjects from various classes, together with many course of study, and to develop statistical data that help us understand the needs of students more correctly for application.

This study is about user satisfaction of the Junior College Library based on its characteristics of space composition. For this, we studied characteristics of space composition targeting the libraries in colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. First, in case of study of characteristics of space composition for books and library data, student satisfaction for traditional and normal library areas was high. It means that the service based on library areas should start from normal library areas as well as there is a change about space as the type of data in libraries change to electric data and multimedia. Second, If we look at the space for a reader and a user, satisfaction for a normal reading room was high. we can also see that satisfaction for a computer room and a multimedia reading room was not higher but still high. Also, the reason why satisfaction for a multimedia reading room that provides various activities was high was that the complex of a library space is needed to provide users with various activities. Third, in case of space for programme function and meeting, satisfaction for the room of video information and the group study room was high. we can see that user satisfaction for the space got high basically when a user is satisfied with the proper information technology based on interaction Fourth, as a result of variance analysis of 3 spaces of Junior College Library and the services, the size of the space of service does not influence user satisfaction directly. Even the space is small, if it decorates variously like with a lighting for a user, a window seat to meet the nature of users and has specific factors such as space reservation using internet, user satisfaction is high. If we summarise the result of this study, to make user satisfaction for speace in a Junior College Library higher, not just we need to try to make it extend as a educational, a cultural place but we also need to accept the student's requirement that the space also needs to be extend as a complex cultural space.

This study analyzes and verifies the relationship between job satisfaction by factor, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and overall job satisfaction of working-age workers using a structural equation model. The research data used the 24th data of the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study. The subjects of the study were 8,024 workers in the production age of 15 to 64 as of 2021 among 9,132 people who correctly marked the values of the observation variables. As a result of the study, it was found that job satisfaction by factor had a positive impact on organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and overall work and job satisfaction. In addition, organizational commitment and job satisfaction were found to have a positively significant effect on overall work and job satisfaction. These results emphasize the importance of understanding and solving the unique problems faced by various types of workers in the labor market, ultimately providing important implications for organizations and policy makers to provide workers with an efficient working environment.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between occupational identity, occupation satisfaction, and self-efficacy of care workers in care hospitals and to draw implications for improving the quality of care services. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, the occupational identity of care workers in care hospitals as an independent variable, occupation satisfaction as a dependent variable of occupational identity, and self-efficacy as a moderating variable were selected. The causal relationships between occupational identity and occupation satisfaction and the moderating effect of self-efficacy were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the occupational identity of care workers in care hospitals showed significant effects on occupation satisfaction and job commitment. Also, the effects of occupational identity on occupation satisfaction and job commitment differ depending on self-efficacy, which means that moderating effects of self-efficacy are significant. Based on this analytical results, the theoretical and policy implications of this study were suggested, and the directions and limitations of this study were suggested.

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate ASP (Application Service Provider) vendor attributes that affect ASP client satisfaction. From the relevant literature, ASP vendor attributes that might affect the ASP client satisfaction were derived from which the survey questions were formulated. The survey was conducted among the companies that have adopted ASP. Through the factor analysis of the survey results, the following vendor attributes - vendor's IT infra structure, service reliability, service flexibility, vendor stability, IS maturity, information sharing - were derived ; and the relationships between those attributes and ASP client satisfaction were explored. The result of this study revealed that IT infra, service flexibility, vendor stability are related to ASP client satisfaction. The customer satisfaction factors in the traditional outsourcing -- reliability, IS maturity, information sharing were proved to be not applied in ASP environment. This study provides ASP vendors with guidelines on how to improve their ASP strategies to satisfy clients. The results of this study can also be used by client companies as a decision basis for ASP vendor selection.

This study examined the effects on customer delight, satisfaction, and repurchase intention for two reward types by online shopping malls, a hand-written letter and a free gift. Two scenarios to manipulate the rewards provided by online shopping malls were developed. Study 1 revealed that the effects of a hand-written letter on delight and satisfaction were higher than those of a free gift; in addition, delight was more important than satisfaction for repurchase intention. Study 2 examined product quality that is the core function of online purchases by developing 4 scenarios that considered product quality and rewards. The result showed that high product quality caused delight and satisfaction while rewards did not. When product quality was considered, satisfaction influenced repurchase intention more than delight. The study implies that the core function of product quality is more important than rewards for customer delight, satisfaction, and repurchase in online shopping malls.
This study was planned to investigate the effect of the exposure to hazard factors on work environment satisfaction. Existing researches about job satisfaction have focused on the general working conditions, such as working hours, wage, human relationship, job task and so on. Korean Working Conditions Survey was used for this study because that relevant questions were included. The effect of the exposure to hazard factors on work environment satisfaction may be produced by hierarchical regression analysis because of comparison with existing model for work environment satisfaction. The exposure to hazards factors were statistically significant effect on work environment satisfaction after adjusting other confounding variables, such as gender, age, educational level, job security, work hour, work load, work autonomy, social support, etc. This study has some limitation because that KWCS was cross sectional survey. Some researches about the causal effect and its mechanism may be suggested as future study.
