Background: The present study was performed to examine the factors required for active engagement of participants in exercise therapy by surveying the frequency of participation, fidelity of performance, and supporting materials and rewards provided to encourage participation in the study. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: The survey was conducted in a population of 103 participants in at least one exercise treatment study. A 12-item questionnaire was designed to determine the frequency of exercise participation and fidelity of participant performance. Results: The results were subjected to frequency analysis and Pearson's correlation analysis. The subjects were less likely to exercise with the therapist and less likely to exercise at home. In addition, the provision of supplementary materials, to be considered when exercising at home, was insufficient. A strong positive correlation was found between the frequency of exercise in the presence of a therapist and the fidelity of participant performance (r=0.812, p=0.001), whereas a weak negative correlation was found between the frequency of unperformed exercises and the fidelity of participant performance (r=-0.523, p=0.023). Conclusion: The results of the present study suggested that it is necessary to increase the number of times that exercises are performed with the therapist to motivate increased frequency of exercise participation and fidelity of participant performance. In addition, appropriate rewards and periodic management are required.

This study investigates and analyzes the difference in Indonesian banks' earnings quality in the pre-audit and post-audit period. This study also investigates the difference in audit quality done by public accounting firms. This study employs time series data taken from the unaudited and audited financial statements of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. Sample selection is made by using a purposive sampling method. The population of this study is 43 banks, and after checking the data for validity and reliability, the final sample size was 26 banks. Audit quality is operationalized with the size of the auditor. Earnings quality is proxied by accruals calculated using the Beaver and Engel (1996) model. The data analysis method used in this study is the paired-sample t-test and chow test. This study shows that there is no difference in earnings quality in the pre-audit and post-audit period. This study also reveals no difference in audit quality between the big four and non-big four auditors. These findings mean that independent auditors do not play a useful role in increasing the reliability of accounting information presented by management to stakeholders. Besides, this study's results do not verify the agency theory regarding auditors' role to minimize opportunistic management behavior in preparing financial statements.
Purpose - This study analyzed the effect of the Trump Government's protectionist trade policies on foreign ownership. Specifically, this study empirically analyzes the hypothesis that foreign ownership will decrease after the Trump Government rather than before the Trump Government. Design/methodology - The hypothesis of this study is based on the expectation that US protection trade policy will negatively affect the profitability of Korean companies. The dependent variable in this study is the foreign ownership ratio, and the independent variable is a dummy variable representing before and after the Trump Government. Multiple regression analysis was performed, including the control variables suggested in previous studies related to foreign ownership. Findings - As a result, foreign ownership increased after the Trump Government rather than before the Trump Government. This study further analyzes whether the main variables affecting foreign investor's decision-making are differences before and after Trump Government. The export ratio, profitability and dividends did not differ before and after Trump Government. However, the level of information asymmetry decreased after the Trump Government than before the Trump Government. This suggests that US protection trade policies do not adversely affect the profitability of Korean companies. However, Korean firms are improving their information environment because US protectionist trade policies can lower profitability and negatively impact capital raising. In this regard, the foreign ownership ratio seems to differ before and after the Trump Government. Originality/value - This study contributes in that it presents data that US protectionist policies can affect Korean corporate governance. This study has implications from the short-term analysis of US protection trade policy.
Purpose: This study explores the impact of digital transformation (DT) strategies on gaining a competitive advantage in interactive educational services. Methods: We develop a service value proposition model by analyzing educational service elements to confirm the impact of DT in the classroom through case studies. This study focuses on educational services that DT has a positive impact on organizational competitiveness by providing opportunities for customers to engage in operational processes. This case study summarizes competitiveness using SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis. Results: The findings of the case study indicate that DT-enabled competitive factors contribute to an organization's competitive advantage. The study results present key resource as social cloud services, data combination, content sharing, and products/services. The online application that collects user data about education and shares class and evaluation information creates a new class operational process in the field of educational service for a value proposition of collection-merging-sharing with social cloud function. Conclusion: The results of this study can be used as a good guideline for educational service providers interested in applying DT for improved customer satisfaction and educational organizations' competitiveness. In addition, the study findings provide theoretical and practical implications on SWOT approaches to changing the educational service provision ways through digital transformation.
Objective: Core training is a key exercise for conditioning and fitness programs, injury prevention, and more. This study aimed to find out the effect of adding dynamic core training, which is frequently prescribed in clinical practice, on dynamic balance and muscle activity compared to conventional static core training. Design: An experimental study Methods: This study is an experimental pilot study of prospective parallel design. Six healthy young adults were allocated to static core training group (SCG; crunch and plank) and blended group (BG; crunch, plank, and dead bug exercise) for two weeks to perform core training. Dynamic balance and muscle activity (erector spinae, rectus abdominis) were measured for all participants before and after core training. Results: All six healthy young adults enrolled completed the study. No significant difference was found before and after 6 sessions of core training in each group (P>0.05). Likewise, no significant difference was found in the results of the difference comparison between groups (P>0.05). Conclusions: In conclusion, in this experimental study, no difference was found when dynamic core training was added. Although the results before and after core training did not show improvement in dynamic balance and muscle activity, a randomized controlled trial is needed considering the results of previous studies and the limitations of this experimental study.
This study observes the language attitude and maintenance of the border community in Telok Melano, Lundu (Sarawak, Malaysia) and Desa Temajuk, Sambas (West Kalimantan, Indonesia). The main objective of this study is to study the language attitudes of two cross-border community who shares the socio-cultural, language, and economic realms. The research data is collected qualitatively through conversation recordings, face-to-face interviews, and participant observations. In this preliminary study, twelve informants (six from Telok Melano and six from Desa Temajuk) were chosen based on the quota sampling method. The questions for the interview were set according to three characteristics of language choice proposed by Garvin and Mathiot (1968), namely language loyalty, language pride, and the awareness of norms. The result of this study indicates that language loyalty, language pride, and awareness of the norms towards the speakers' mother tongue and national language are relatively high. In terms of identity maintenance issues, this study found that the community in Telok Melano (Sarawak), originally identify themselves as "Sambas Malays," shifted to "Sarawak Malays" after the formation of Malaysia in 1963. This preliminary study serves as a basis for further research particularly on the complexity of issues concerned with the border communities in the Southwest of Sarawak.

The current study aims to analyze the acceptance of International Standard Terminology (IST) related to herbs and formulas used in Korea. It also intends to examine limitations of each term source by linking texts for herbal medicine research and formula research used in schools of oriental medicine with medicinal substance-formula classification names within the IST framework. This study examined 64 medicinal classification names of IST, including synonyms, 41 formula classification names, 65 classification names of "Herbal Medicine Study," 89 medicinal classification names of "Shin's Clinical Herbal Medicine Study," and lastly 83 formula classification names of "Formula Study." Data on their chief virtue, efficacy and characteristics as medicinal substances were extracted from their definitions, and such data were used to perform Chinese character-English mapping using the IST. The outcomes of the mapping were then analyzed in terms of both lexical matching and semantic matching. In terms of classification names for medicinal substances, "Herbal Medicine Study" had 60.0% lexical matching, whereas "Shin's Clinical Herbal Medicine Study" had 48.3% lexical matching. When semantic matching was also applied, "Herbal Medicine Study" showed a value of 87.7% and "Shin's Clinical Herbal Medicine Study" 74.2%. In terms of formula classification names, lexical matching was 28.9% of 83 subjects, and when semantic matching was also considered, the value was 30.1%. When the conceptual elements of this study were applied, some IST terms that are classified with other codes were found to be conceptually consistent, and some terms were not accepted due to different depths in the classification systems of each source.

The researchers of the organizational behavior have been interested in the performances of transformational leadership in various environments and cultures. In this study, data were collected to find out the effects of professors' transformational leadership on students’ departmental identification, study engagement and organizational citizenship behavior to school. This study also tested indirect effect between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior via departmental identification and study engagement. The results indicated significant direct relation between professors' transformational leadership and departmental identification, study engagement and citizenship behavior to school. But direct relation between study engagement and citizenship behavior was not found. Departmental identification was found as a mediator between transformational leadership and citizenship behavior. This study suggests that professors' transformational leadership is quite necessary for school, department and student.
The background of this study was the fact that the religious spaces require sacred space devices in addition to aesthetic aspects. This study began with the definition that 'philosophical phenomenology provides one of the theoretical frameworks for religious phenomenology'. Seeing that 'philosophical phenomenology has limitations in drawing out the characteristics, this study attempted to study religious spaces through the method of specialized and refined religious phenomenology for the religious spaces alone. The purpose of this study was to understand the characteristics of religious spaces and the fact that the religious spaces are divided into 'profane' domains and 'sacred' ones and to analyze the characteristics of space and light in terms of religious phenomenology through Dutch religious architect Dom Hans van der Laan's architectural projects of monasteries. The study method was to present the relationship between space and light in terms of religious phenomenology and to summarize Van der Laan's interpretational method of the religious spaces through the architect's life and architectural philosophy. The conclusion of this study was that Dom Hans van der Laan's entire works were judged to have sufficient research value in studying the religious spaces as they were all created in the special category of 'religion'. With his project, it is possible for us to study 'hierophany' as experience of space and light through the methodology of religious phenomenology. This study has significant meaning in that it introduced an architect of religious spaces and a related new view on architecture.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the degree of wear of periodontal curet's cutting edges made by three different manufacturers. In the first case of the experiment, this study was done with each new curett in the following three experiment. Twelve new double-ended No. 11/12 Gracy curettes from three different manufacturers (A, B and C) was randomly selected from our stock at first test. They were weared by wear tester with fixed pressure and limited distance. This study measured the width of worn curettes'cutting edge. The results were as follows ; 1)In 50 times experiment, this study discoverd that each manufacturer's curette was appeared with different degree of wear (p<0.01) 2)In 100 times experiment, this study result similarly to the 50 times experiment(p<0.01). 3)In 150 times experiment, the result of this study were alike as the X50 experiment and X100 experiment. In the second case of the experiment, the study was done with a curett of a manufacturer in the following three experiment. Two double-ended No. 11/12 Gracy curette from three different manufactures (A, B and C) was randomly selected from our stock at second test. 1)In 50 times experiment, this study discovered that each manufacturer's curette was appeared with different degree of wear (p<0.05). 2)In 100 times experiment, the result was same, compared with the 50 times experiment. 3)In 150 times experiment, this study also discovered that the result was same with the result of the upper two cases. In conclusion, this study discovered that the two cases of experimental were shown with a same result.
