The purpose of the study was to develop evaluation methods which would measure student achievement and progress without traditional paper-pencil tests such as mid-term and final examinations. More specifically, the main research focus were to establish general directions of student assessment during free semester, to build evaluation models supporting student's participation and learning, and to report and record various student evaluation results. As research results, we found that student evaluation of free semester should be organized to improve a) experience learning activity, self-regulatory and collaboratory study, b) high-order thinking ability and character-building, and c) teacher-student-parent cooperation. Since traditional paper-pencil tests were restricted in free semester, student achievement should be provided by a way of performance descriptions on transcripts rather than quantitative grade points. Student performance descriptions had to show not only subject knowledge but also students efforts, motivation, and participation. These multiple and educationally meaningful information would be collected by teacher-student-parent communication and collaboration.

This study employs a case study method to examine the current implementation of student teaching program in a particular teacher education institution and its affiliated school. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of home economics student teaching program by promoting collaboration of teacher education institution and host schools. Following five research problems are addressed : (1)Examining the problems of student teaching from the literature review ; (2)Identifying the problems of student teaching recognized by home economics student teachers ; (3)Identifying the problems of student teaching and plans for improvements suggested in the seminar held for home economics teacher ; (4)Analyzing and comparing the differences of opinion between home economics student teaching program ; and (5)Suggesting alternative implementation plans for improving student teaching program by promoting collaboration of teacher education institution and host schools.

The purpose of this paper is to describe about the issues concerning student teachers' perceptions of ICT use and obstacles they experience during the teaching. Student teacher experience conflicts with ICT in particular, and lack of confidence in using ICT. Furthermore, pre-service teachers experience various conflicts while teaching during student teaching. Main conflicts student teachers experience are reported that their lack of confidence in using ICT, especially in front of the student body during the class, and firm belief on ICT and its effects. Student teachers lack systematic training during their professional development. As a conclusion, the teacher training programs need to have systematic approach in their curriculum to assist pre-service teachers to use ICT before their student teaching to give them first hand experience in classrooms.

Background: 6-year College of Pharmacy curriculum had started in Korea, and the students in college of pharmacy are supposed to have student practice in the hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, pharmaceutical company and administration to experience the role of pharmacists in advance. However, despite Korean Association of Pharmacy Education provided its own teaching plan, most Pharmacy Schools and the hospital pharmacy have difficulty in performing the desirable student practice program because they seldom experienced it. So, we reported the student practice program in the hospital pharmacy conducted by Yonsei University College of Pharmacy prior to the other numerous universities and the evaluation of survey on the student pharmacy practice program. Method: Severance Hospital, Gangnam Severance Hospital and National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital took part in the student pharmacy practice program of Yonsei University. Students took 8-week pharmacy practice in Severance Hospital or Gangnam Severance Hospital plus 4-week pharmacy practice in National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital. Also, students had once-a-week presentation class at school. A survey was conducted to evaluate the student practice program. Results: The presentation class was considerably helpful to share their own experiences at different practice sites in different hospitals, but there were some disadvantages that students could not experience the specific pharmacy practice site on the day of once-a-week presentation at school and so on. The results of the survey on the student practice program reported that students were satisfied with the overall practice program and presentation class at school. Also, they answered that the student practice program in the hospital pharmacy was significantly helpful for planning of the future career. Conclusion: Through the performance of the student practice program in Yonsei University, the adjustment of the student practice program in the hospital is planned to provide better experience of practice to the students and the results will be helpful for the student practice in the hospital of the other colleges of pharmacy.

The student group division is benefit for universities to do the student management based on the group profile. With the widespread use of student smart cards on campus, especially where students living in campus residence halls, students' daily activities on campus are recorded with information such as smart card swiping time and location. Therefore, it is feasible to depict the students with the daily activity data and accordingly group students based on objective measuring from their campus behavior with some regular student attributions collected in the management system. However, it is challenge in feature representation due to diverse forms of the student data. To effectively and comprehensively represent students' behaviors for further student group division, we proposed to adopt activity data from student smart cards and student attributes as input data with taking account of activity and attribution relationship types from different perspective. Specially, we propose a novel student group division method based on a multi-view student attribute heterogeneous information network (MSA-HIN). The network nodes in our proposed MSA-HIN represent students with their multi-dimensional attribute information. Meanwhile, the edges are constructed to characterize student different relationships, such as co-major, co-occurrence, and co-borrowing books. Based on the MSA-HIN, embedded representations of students are learned and a deep graph cluster algorithm is applied to divide students into groups. Comparative experiments have been done on a real-life campus dataset collected from a university. The experimental results demonstrate that our method can effectively reveal the variability of student attributes and relationships and accordingly achieves the best clustering results for group division.

본 연구는 초등 영재학생과 일반학생의 학업스트레스에 미치는 자기효능감과 스트레스 대처방식의 상호작용 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 6학년 영재학생 100명과 일반학생 100명을 대상으로 연구한 결과, 영재학생이 일반학생보다 문제중심 대처방식을 많이 사용하였으나, 학업스트레스, 학업적 자기효능감 및 정서중심 대처방식에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 영재학생과 일반학생의 학업스트레스는 학업적 자기효능감이 높을수록, 문제중심 대처방식을 많이 사용할수록 감소되었으며, 학업적 자기효능감과 문제중심 대처방식의 상호작용에 영향을 받았다. 상호작용효과를 살펴보면, 영재학생의 학업적 자기효능감이 학업스트레스를 감소시키는 효과는 문제중심 대처방식의 수준이 높을수록 커졌으며, 일반학생은 문제중심 대처방식의 수준이 높을 때에만 학업적 자기효능감이 유의하게 학업스트레스를 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다.

This study investigated student's prior conceptions and evidence evaluation about Light and shadow. One hundred twenty six students were given Explanation-after-choice type Questions to investigate student' prior conceptions and Choicd type Question to identify student's idea about scientific method and characteristics od observation. Forty-four of the 126 students were interviewed to explore student's evidence evaluation. Eighty students (63.5%) thought that the shape of material affected the shape of shadow but the shape of light source did not Only 58.8 precents of all responses were evidence-based responses. Characteristics of evidence affected student's evidence evaluation : student made evidence-based responsed to the accord evidence more frequently than discord evidence. Among evidence-based response to the discord evidence. 35.5% of responses were the case that student felt cognitive conflict or explored other variables by recognizing discord between his/her own ideas and evidence or distort the evidence. Student's idea about characteristics of observation did not affect the evidence evaluation, but student's idea about scientific method affected the evidence evaluation.

The subinternship (student internship), a subtype of bedside and clinical training was first developed in the United States. Currently, some medical schools conduct a student internship and many other universities are considering the implementation of a student internship in Korea. If the intern system is abrogated beginning in 2016 as in the United States, then the importance of the student internship will be greatly emphasized for clinical training. To produce good and competent medical doctors, members of medical schools and affiliated hospitals must acknowledge the role of the educational hospital and support student internships. In addition, the effort of the medical community to develop and apply a standard curriculum to the student internship is also required. Above all, the attention of society and the nation is essential to make legal policy changes regarding the conducting of student internships and enhance understanding about the authorized practices in university hospitals. The medical community's effort to draw attention to this issue is greatly required to implement a student internship at this time.

Recently the number of university has been increased rapidly and the number of student who want to enter the university has been decreased. So every university try to provide resting place and student lounge for their survival. this project was designed to provide the student more convenient and comfortable resting place. this lounge is placed in the library which is the main space and the most useful place in the university. So the design concept is to provide the space which has young and bright and also useful so the student can feel high-tech interior design.

Since the competition of higher education is more and more critical, the improvement of educational services is importantly considered. Despite the current situations, there are few studies addressing the relationships between education service quality and its outcomes. As educational service quality plays a key role in improving student satisfaction, universities provides a high level of educational services for students and reinforce their competitiveness through student satisfaction. This research investigates the relationships among IT service quality, business education service quality, trust, student satisfaction and student loyalty. In so doing, the current study establishes a theoretical model to test the proposed relationships. The results further suggest that the indirect effect of the IT service quality and the business education service quality enhances its impact of student satisfaction, trust, student loyalty. Finally, the authors draw conclusions and further research directions.
