University teacher education programs have sought for ways of how to improve student teaching in order to supply mathematics teachers with practical theory to achieve the goals of the current educational reform in school mathematics. In this context, the purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of student teachers' teaching experience in the after-school mathematics programs and the ways of how to develop the after-school learning programs as an effective site for learning to teach based on the inquiry into student teachers' own teaching experience. For the purpose, data were collected through the interviews with the student teachers who had taught after-school mathematics class. In addition, data were collected through survey, class observation, and seminal meetings with the student teachers in order to supplement the findings from the interview analysis. Data analysis focused on the student teachers' experience with teaching in after-school mathematics classes, that is, what and how they had learned as teachers, what kinds of difficulties they encountered in their teaching and supports that they expect to improve their learning through teaching. The analysis shows that the teaching experience in the after-school programs had positively contributed to their development as future mathematics teachers. Specifically, the after-school programs provide the site for learning through teaching at the early stage of teacher education program. The after-school programs provided the students teachers for the opportunity to participate peripherally in educational practice of school. Through the participation, the student teachers developed positive attitudes toward teaching career and became to have more solid ideas about how to teach mathematics. Based on the analysis, this research provides following suggestions concerning how to improve student teaching. First, it is necessary to provide student teachers to participate into the practice of teaching at the early stage of teacher education programs. Second, it is important to give students teacher opportunity to participate in teaching at peripheral and legitimate positions. Finally, it is necessary to construct mentoring networks to support student teachers to move from a peripheral position toward a center of teaching practice.

Objectives: We evaluated the extent to which implementation of student participation programs in serving school meals impacts student perception and satisfaction with school foodservice in middle and high school settings. Methods: Students' perception of management and satisfaction with quality attributes of school foodservice were assessed by questionnaire methods and compared by the program implementation status of student participation in serving school meals. Correlation and multiple regression analyses were performed to identify factors affecting perception and satisfaction. Results: The overall mean score for perception regarding the management of school foodservice was low (3.53 out of 10 points) and middle school students showed a higher mean score than high school students (4.10 vs. 2.94 points). In both middle and high schools, student perception was significantly higher in schools implementing the program. The average score for student satisfaction with the quality of school foodservice was 3.50 out of 5 points. Similarly, we observed a significantly higher satisfaction among middle versus high school students (3.93 vs. 3.04 points) and in schools implementing the program versus those that were not. Overall, student participation in serving school meals resulted in increases in satisfaction with school foodservice of 0.269 and 0.466 points among middle and high school students, respectively. Conclusions: Implementation of student participation in serving school meals could be used as a strategy to improve perception and satisfaction of students with their school foodservice. Establishment of guidelines of student serving participation programs encompassing different perspectives from students, dietitians and school faculties are warranted.

이 연구의 목적은 대학 학생선수의 스포츠윤리 인식을 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 대학 학생선수 312명을 연구 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 자료수집 방법은 폐쇄형 설문과 개방형 설문방식을 통하여 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 코드화하여 빈도 및 백분율을 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학 학생선수는 7.1%의 고의패배경험이 있었다. 둘째 대학 학생선수의 16.3%는 도박과 관련 없는 고의패배를 승부조작으로 인식하고 있지 않았다. 셋째, 대학 학생선수는 승부조작이 불법적 사익추구, 환경적 요인, 대인관계, 관련 교육의 부재 등의 원인으로 발생한다고 인식하였다. 넷째, 대학 학생선수의 8.1%는 스포츠윤리교육이 필요하다고 인식하였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해 스포츠 현장에서 승부조작이 지속적으로 발생하고 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 승부조작은 다양한 경로를 통해 발생하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 학생선수를 대상으로 스포츠윤리교육이 지속적으로 실시되어야 할 필요성을 재 확인하였다. 이에 이 연구결과는 학생선수를 위한 스포츠윤리교육의 기초자료로 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Purpose: Maintaining a lifelong health is very important. The purpose of this study is to know the perception of youth about health teacher's servant leadership, student's self-efficacy, and health promoting behavior, and the relationship among the variables. Methods: This study used surveys of health teacher's servant leadership, student's self-efficacy, and health promotion behaviors. The subjects were 1,286 elementary, middle and high school students. PASW Statistics 18.0 was used in the data analysis. Percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, and ANOVA test were used to compare the difference of the health teacher's servant leadership, student's self-efficacy, and health promotion behavior according to the background variables of the subject. Results: There was a statistically significant difference in the perception of youth about health teacher's servant leadership, student's self-efficacy, and health promotion behaviors according to school level, establishment type, and grade. There was also a statistically significant difference in the perception of youth about student's self-efficacy and health promotion behaviors between male and female student. In addition, student's self-efficacy serves as a positive mediator to the effects of health teacher's servant leadership on student's health promoting behavior. Conclusion: Based on these results, it needs to implement the human resources and policy support for the systematic health education of elementary, middle, and high schools, the development of the program for the teacher's servant leadership, and the health promotion of students in curriculum.

A study was carried out in order to obtain the status of student sickness and medical care in University Health Service, Ewha Womans University. This study was based on the clinical records of University Health Service and hospitals 'for student insurance pay claims during the year of 1981. And the findings from the study were as follows; 1. A total number of student patients cared at University Health Service in 1981 was 9,822 and the incidence rate of primary cared was 773 per 1,000 students. 2. A total number of student patients cared at hospitals was 393 and the incidence rate of secondary cared was 31 per 1,000 students and 5 student out of 31 per 1000 was cared under the haspitalization. 3. The evacuation rate of student patients from University Health Service to hospital was 393 out of 9,822 student primary cared or 4.0 percent. 4. The order of 5 major diseases of primary cared in University Health Service was respiratory system diseases (36.6%), Digestive system diseases (17.4%), Skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases (16.0%), Symptoms and undetermined diagnosis (13.7%) and Nerve and sensory organ diseases (12.0%) respectively. 5. The disease order of student patients(333) cared in hospitals as out-patients was Skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases (40.3%), Nervous and Sensory organ disease (19.2%), Digestive system diseases (10.8%) respectively. 6. The disease order of student patients (60) cared in hospitals as in-patients was Digestive system diseases (35.0%), Respiratory system diseases (13.3%), Nerve and sensory organ diseases (10.0%), Infectious and parasitic diseases (10.0%), and Symptom and Undetermined diagonsis (10.0%) respectively. 7. The evacuation rate of student patients in University Health Service to hospital was varied according to disease groups; the lowest rate was the diseases evacuated to Internal Medicine Department 1.5% or 75 out of 5,072 patient primary cared and the highest rate was Neuropsychiatry department 63.7% or 7 out of 11 patients. 8. The monthly distribution of student patients in University Health Service was the highest in September (17.9%) and April (15.5%) each semester. 9. The monthly number of student patients treated in hospitals was the range 20 to 40 in out patients and 2 to 9 in in-patients. 10. The hospital ill days per case were $4.3{\pm}5.0$ days in out-patients and $9.7{\pm}9.5$ days in in-patients.

본 연구는 개인의 소명의식이 자신뿐만 아니라 상호작용하는 타인에게도 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 선행연구를 바탕으로 학생이 지각한 교사의 소명의식이 학생에게 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 구체적으로 학생이 지각한 교사의 소명의식이 학생의 안녕감에 미치는 영향과 그 메커니즘을 알아보기 위해 대한민국 고등학생 494명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고, 학생이 지각한 교사의 소명의식과 학생의 안녕감의 관계가 정서적 지지와 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략에 의해 매개되는지를 구조방정식 모형 검증을 통해 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 학생이 지각한 교사의 소명의식은 정서적 지지를 매개하여 학생의 안녕감에 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 학생이 지각한 교사의 소명의식은 정서적 지지를 매개하여 학생의 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 사용을 높이는 것으로 나타났으며, 정서적 지지는 학생의 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략을 매개하여 학생의 안녕감 수준을 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 학생이 지각한 교사의 소명의식이 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 정서적 지지(매개변인 1)와 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략(매개변인 2)의 순차적 매개효과가 유의하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 이론 및 실무적 함의, 한계점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제안을 논의하였다.

미국 NASA는 자국 우주발사시스템 분야 인력양성을 위해 대학생 대상의 로켓 경진대회를 2006년부터 매년 개최하고 있다. 본 논문은 교육 프로젝트 일환으로 미국 젊은이들에게 우주 임무에 필요한 과학, 기술, 공학, 수학(STEM) 분야에 관심을 고취시키기 위한 NASA 주관 대학생 로켓 경진대회인 NASA Student Launch에 대한 의미와 운영 방식에 대한 분석을 한다. 아울러 국내 대학생 로켓 경진대회 활동을 간략히 소개한다.

The purpose of this study is to build a model that explains the relationship between and among five variables that are student background, teacher background, home environment, school characteristic, and student mathematics achievement, using structural equation modeling. Another purpose of this study is to compare the relationships of these variables between the United States and Korea in 7th and 8th grades mathematics. Student, teacher, and school background files from population 2 in the TIMSS were selected for this study. The result of the study provides practical information for teachers, parents, school principals, and other people who are interested in improving student achievement, and also provides the information that may explain differences and similarities between the US and Korea in mathematics achievement.

이 논문에서는 WBI(Web-Based Instruction) 시스템의 영역 독립적인 학습자 모듈을 구축하는데 있어 핵심이 되는 요소를 영역 전문가가 쉽게 입력할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 퍼지이론의 언어 변수 개념을 도입한 학습자 응답 진단 공식을 제안한다. 또한 학습자의 인지 상태를 추론하는 규칙을 영역 전문가가 언어변수를 입력하여 구축할 수 있도록 하고 이 규칙을 이용하여 학습자의 인지 상태를 추론할 수 있도록 학습자 모듈을 설계한다.

Recently the number of university has been increased rapidly and the number of student who want to enter the university has been decreased. So every university try to provide resting place and student lounge for their survival. this project was designed to provide the student more convenient and comfortable resting place. this lounge is placed in the main building which is the main space and the most useful place in the university. So the design concept is to provide the space which has young and bright and also useful so the student can feel high-tech interior design.
