The Effect of NCS based Education Service Quality on Student's Loyalty to College and Self-confidence in Getting Job (NCS 기반 교육서비스품질이 대학생들의 학교충성도와 취업자신감에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out constitutions of education service quality in NCS based education and to investigate the effects on vocational key competence, loyalty to college and self-confidence in getting job of college students as important performance variables. The results of this study are as follows. In the NCS based education, five dimensions of education service quality were teaching-learning-lecture, reputation, education program, administrative service and facilities. It is analyzed that the teaching-learning-lecture and administrative service have a great influence on vocational key competence of students. In addition, education service quality and vocational key competence were analyzed as important factors for student's loyalty to college and self-confidence in getting job and proved to be important performance variables.

Causal-effect Analysis of Brand Equity Factors in Contract Foodservice Management Company in College and University in Incheon Area (위탁급식 전문업체의 브랜드 자산 구성 요인간 인과 관계 분석 - 인천지역 일부 대학생을 대상으로 -)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to analyze the relationship between brand equity factors ie brand awareness, brand image, brand preference and brand loyalty and 2) to suggest the strategy for brand management of contract food service management company. The developed questionnaires were distributed to the college and university students in Incheon area from September 20 to September 24 in 2004. Total 198 questionnaires were used for the final data analysis with response rate of $82.5\%$. For the statistical analysis, the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted by using SPSS Win (10.0). The results of this study showed that the following 5 hypotheses were supported. Hypothesis 1: The brand awareness of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand image of that. Hypothesis 2: The brand image of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand preference of that. Hypothesis 3: The brand awareness of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand preference of that. Hypothesis 4: The brand preference of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand royalty of that. Hypothesis 5: The brand image of the contract foodservice company affects positively the brand loyalty of that. As a conclusion, the brand awareness has a positive effect on the brand image and brand preference significantly, so it is recommended that the contract foodservice company should focus on improving the brand awareness as a brand strategy. And the brand preference and brand image have the significant effect on the brand loyalty. Therefore the company should strive to strengthen the brand loyalty though building brand preference and brand image, because the brand loyalty brings about the customer's more visiting the foodservices, which is directly related to the profitabilities of the contract foodservice management company.

  • Customer engagement refers to the physical and emotional connection between customers and brands. If the customer's degree of engagement is high, they purchase more, promote more, and show more loyalty. This study suggests the following implications, starting from the assumption that engagement with various service activities in universities can increase loyalty to departments and Universities. In university services, customer engagement plays a important role in strengthening college loyalty after college students are satisfied with university. Although it has an effect on university satisfaction, it can play a big role in increasing the loyalty of marketing goals at a higher level after satisfaction. Among the central factors of university service engagement, it was found that students could increase their department and university loyalty through capacity building and job-related activities for future employment, and among the surrounding factors, friendship activities were a very important factor in department or school loyalty. It can be said that it is of paramount importance to establish a system that can strengthen loyalty through various programs that can build friendships with students. Further research did not verify the moderating effect of service engagement among student groups, but the high-credit group was found to have a very high degree of engagement not only in the central cues but also in the peripheral cues, which is thought to reverse the common sense that high-credit students will be relatively less immersed in the peripheral elements.

Effect of the Consumer-Brand Relationship Quality on the Brand Loyalty in the Fast Food Restaurant in Masan, Korea (패스트푸드 레스토랑의 소비자-브랜드 관계의 질이 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향 - 마산시 일부 대학생을 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the consumer-brand relationship Quality (CBRQ) on the brand loyalty in the fast food restaurant in Masan, Korea. The Questionnaires were distributed to 250 students in the K University located in Masan, who were sampled by convenience-sampling method. The surveys were performed from December 6 to 14, 2004. The 246 Questionnaires were responded, and 12 unusable Questionnaires were excluded, then 234 were used for the final analysis $(response rate:\;93.7\%)$. For the statistical analysis, SPSS (12.0) was used to conduct the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. The result of this study showed that 2 constructs (satisfaction and commitment) of consumer-brand relationship Quality have significant positive effects on the brand loyalty in the fast food restaurant. It meant that as consumer-brand relationship quality becomes stronger, the customer's brand loyalty becomes greater. The differences of customer loyalty between the high and low group of self-connective attachment, satisfaction, commitment, trust and intimacy were significant. So the brand loyalty of high group of customer-brand relationship quality was significantly higher than that of low group of customer-brand relationship quality. As a conclusion, the operator in the fast food restaurant should focus on the marketing strategy to strengthen the quality of consumer-brand relationship in order to increase the brand loyalty of customers.

  • Customer relationship management skills seeking to increase profits through an elevation in customer loyalty. Education sites are not structured, and are not able to provide the customers with needed services. As the company-customer relationship is not much different from the education portal site-student relationship, CRM can be utilized in educational environments as well. This paper looked into the CRM theory, and through analyses of CRM-applied commercial sites and well-known education portal sites and school homepages, aims to present which individualized services are needed and how school homepages should be designed for effective student relation management. On the basis of school homepage design, we implemented partly sign-up form, admin's menu, and personalization design.

Exploring the Effect on the Channel Brand Equity by Audience Evaluation of Public Broadcasting Independency and Their News Credibility: focusing on KBS and MBC (공영방송사 방송독립성과 뉴스 신뢰도에 대한 시청자 평가가 채널브랜드자산 인식에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: KBS와 MBC를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study investigates how the audience evaluation on independency of broadcasting and news credibility of KBS and MBC affect their channel brand equity(cognition, image, loyalty, and quality). The results indicate that the audience evaluation on news credibility of KBS and MBC has stronger influence on channel brand equity than the one of independency of broadcasting. On ages, the older generation group has more positive perception on channel image and loyalty of KBS than the college student group and the college student group has more positive perception on channel cognition and quality of MBC than the older generation group. On political traits, the politically conservative groups of both KBS and MBC have more positive perception on independency of broadcasting, news credibility, and channel brand equity than the other groups. Consequently, public broadcasting systems should improve the credibility of news for securing independency of broadcasting. These systems make audience change their perception toward public broadcasting as recovering integrity of news and improving professionalism of news. Public broadcasting systems should conduct a further research to improve the management of channel brand equity by studying audiences' age and political traits.
