청소년이 느끼는 부모의 긍정적 양육태도가 자기효능감, 스트레스, 우울, 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (The effect of positive parenting style, self-efficacy, stress, and depression on school adjustment of adolescents)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 청소년이 느끼는 부모의 긍정적 양육태도가 자기효능감, 스트레스, 우울, 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 분석대상은 한국 청소년정책 연구원에서 실시한 2010년 한국청소년 건강 실태조사에 응답한 중 고등학생 청소년이며, 총 7,187명을 최종 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 분석방법은 구조방정식모형(SEM: Structural Equation Modeling)을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과를 보면, 부모의 긍정적 양육태도는 자기효능감을 높이고, 스트레스 및 우울을 감소시킬 뿐만 아니라, 학교생활적응에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자기효능감이 높을수록 스트레스와 우울이 낮았으며, 학교생활적응은 높게 나타나는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 청소년의 스트레스와 우울이 낮을수록 학교생활적응은 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 부모의 긍정적 양육태도가 자기효능감 등 매개변수를 통한 간접효과까지 고려한 학교생활적응에 미치는 전체효과가 매우 크기 때문에 통제적이고 권위적인 양육태도보다는 긍정적이면서 자율 수용적인 양육태도로의 변화, 친밀한 부모-자녀관계 형성, 그리고 양육방식에 대한 효과적인 부모교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다는 제언을 하였다는데 의의가 있다.

  • 오늘날과 같은 지식기반 산업에 있어서 지식은 기업의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 중요한 요인이라고 할 수 있다. 최근 국내 건설기업의 경우 기술력 제고와 정부의 부동산 규제정책에 따른 건설경기의 하락과 내수시장의 지속적인 불황으로 국내 외의 많은 불안정적인 요인들로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 국내 건설업체들의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 기업조직이 보유한 조직지식의 속성이 조직 내 지식획득, 이전, 활용과 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 알아보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 국내 건설업체들이 조직지식 속성의 내부 요인들이 지식의 획득, 이전. 활용과 경영 성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 실증분석 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 국내 건설업체들의 경우 기업지식의 속성이 지식획득, 이전, 활용에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 지식이전은 경영 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다.

여성의 성범죄 피해경험이 교통행태에 미치는 영향분석 및 정책적 함의 (Effects, Perception, and Political Implication of Sexual Crime on Public Transportation)

  • 본 연구는 대중교통을 이용하는 여성통행자가 차내에서 발생하는 성범죄로부터 안전하게 이동할 수 있도록 성범죄피해 현황을 파악하고 개선방안을 제시하기 위하여 수행되었다. 대중교통내에서 발생하는 성범죄 피해현황을 파악하였으며, 이러한 경험이 성범죄를 예방하기 위한 정책을 도출하는데 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 분석방법은 경기도 직장여성들을 대상으로 심층면접조사를 수행하여 성범죄 피해실태를 파악하고 적절한 대응방안을 모색하기 위하여 구조방정식 모형으로 인과관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 여성들은 CCTV와 경고음 설치, 경찰인력의 추가 배치는 성범죄예방에 효과적으로 판단하고 있으나, 여성전용칸 설치는 실효성이 낮은 것으로 평가하였다. 이러한 결과에는 각 개인의 주관적 규범과 지각된 행동통제가 중요하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과에 근거하여 대중교통 성범죄 예방을 위한 정책적 대안을 제시하였다.

Investigating the acceptance of the reopening Bataan nuclear power plant: Integrating protection motivation theory and extended theory of planned behavior

  • Nuclear power plant (NPP) is currently considered as one of the most reliable power sources. However, 182 of them are considered decommissioned and inactive including the one in Bataan, Philippines. The aim of this study was to investigate the acceptance of the reopening of Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) by integrating the Theory of Planned Behavior and Protection Motivation Theory. A total of 815 Filipinos answered an online questionnaire which consisted of 37 questions. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) indicated that knowledge towards nuclear power plants was the key factor in determining people's acceptance towards NPP reopening. In addition, knowing the benefits would lead to positive perceived behavioral control (PBC) and attitude towards intention. Results showed that PBC and attitude are mediators towards the acceptance of people regarding the reopening of BNPP. If an individual's knowledge gravitates towards the perceived risk, then this can lead to the negative acceptance of the NPP reopening. On the other hand, if an individual's knowledge gravitates towards the perceived benefits, then this will lead to positive acceptance. This study is the first study that explored the acceptance of the reopening BNPP. Finally, the study's model construct would also be very beneficial for researchers, government, and even private sectors worldwide.

The acceptance of nuclear energy as an alternative source of energy among Generation Z in the Philippines: An extended theory of planned behavior approach

  • Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) are widely utilized around the globe from different base forms as it is one of the most dependable renewable resources that technological advancements have offered. However, different perceptions of the usage of NPPs emerged from different generations. The purpose of this study was to investigate the acceptance of nuclear energy as an alternative source of energy among Generation Z in the Philippines by utilizing an extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach. An online questionnaire which consisted of 31 items was distributed using a purposive sampling approach and 450 respondents of Generation Z voluntarily answered. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) showed that the knowledge regarding NPP had significant effects on risk perception and benefit perception which subsequently led to subjective norms. In addition, perceived behavioral control and subjective norms had significant effects on behavioral intention which led to nuclear acceptance. Interestingly, the respondents perceived the benefit of NPP as slightly higher than the perceived risk. With these, it was clear that the commissioning Nuclear Power Plant must consider as an alternative source of electric energy in the Philippines. Moreover, this study is one of the first studies that investigated the acceptance of NPP among Generation Z. Lastly, the model could be a basis to strengthen the acceptance strategy of opening NPP among Generation Z, particularly in developing countries.

The Effect of Organizational Justice on Employees' Turnover Intention and Customer-Oriented Behavior in Chinese Full-Service Restaurants: The Mediating Role of Organizational Affective Commitment

  • The purpose of this study was to provide a more comprehensive model which integrates a social exchange construct (i.e., organizational commitment) as a mediator to test the relationship between organizational justice and employees' bebaviors such as intent to leaving and custormer-oriented behavior. Based on the data collected from ten Chinese full-service restaurants, this study analyzed the proposed hypotheses through model comparison by using structural equation modeling (SEM) technique with AMOS 7.0. The results indicated that (1)distributive justice had negative influence on employees' turnover intention and positive influence on employees' customer oriented behavior and these influences were fully mediated by employees' affective commitment to their organizations; (2)procedural justice had negative influence on employees' turnover intention and positive influence on customer oriented behavior and these influences were only partially mediated by employees' affective commitment to their organizations. Managerial implications and future research directions were proposed at the last part of this study.

The Relationship between Innovation Capability and Firm's Performance in Electronic Companies, Vietnam

  • The study aims to investigate the determinant factors in the organisation of a firm's innovative activities, and the impact of innovation capability on firm's performance of electronic firms in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. How is the performance of electronic companies after delivering an innovation project? How will innovation capability affect firm's performance in electronic companies? This study aims to seek the answer of these questions. We employ a Structural Equation Model and the PLS technique in order to validate the theoretical model proposed in this study. With observation of 374 valid firms, based on Cronbach's Alpha analysis, EFA analysis, CFA analysis and SEM analysis, this study discovers 5 groups of factors including: (i) Institution factors; (ii) Attitude of leadership factors; (iii) Marketing factors; (iv) Technological resources factors; (v) Combination factors, which have direct impact on innovation capability of firms. There are 4 groups of factors that have positive impacts on financial performance of electronic firms, with descending order of importance as follows: (1) Attitude of leadership factors; (2) Quality of human resources factors; (3) Innovation capability; (4) Marketing activities factors. Research results are important implications for Government administrative agencies for business to consult and introduce effective support policies.

  • Supply chain management(SCM) helps firms in integrating their business by collaborating with other value chain partners to meet the unpredictable demand of the end user. Agility is the fundamental characteristic of a supply chain needed for survival in turbulent and volatile markets, which are becoming norms as product life cycles shorten and environmental forces create additional uncertainty resulting in higher risk in the supply chain management. Literature reviews reveals various factors that could affect the agility. The objective of this study is to derive interdependence, partnership, quality of information, joint problem solving, modelize the mutual influential relationship between them, and look into the influential relationship influencing the agility. To test the proposed model, we used a data set generated from survey. Date analysis was conducted using 122 respondents. We used structural equation model (SEM) implemented in partial least square(PLS). The results of this study can be summarized as follows. Interdependence had a significant impact on partnership. Partnership had a significant impact on quality of information and joint problem solving. Quality of information had a significant impact on joint problem solving. Quality of information and joint problem solving had a significant impact on agility. This study diagnoses that Inter-organizational relationship characteristics are important for supply chain agility. Inter-organizational relationship characteristics are considered as an essential factor for supply chain agility.

  • Purpose - e-Commerce is now one of the alternatives in shopping. Ease of Use and convenience aspects are the main supporting reasons that e-commerce is a trend for most people today. This study examines the relationship between the theory of technology to consumer behavior in using e-commerce applications. Research design, data, and methodology - The number of samples in this study was 600 samples from four major e-commerce made in Indonesia. The research method of this study Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS and SPSS applications as analysis tools. Results - The results of this study state that most hypotheses support prior research and grand theory. On the other hand, the components of technology acceptance theory are mostly able to moderate variable consumer behavior in the digital era. Conclusions - The combination of essential elements of technology theory are oriented to the fundamental aspects of human beings as social beings. The most important thing for the development of the e-commerce industry to develop and be sustainable is the obligation to increase consumer confidence. The combination of components of technology theory and CCT can be a comprehensive marketing strategy and innovation to competitive advantage in the future.

The Influence of the Experiential Marketing Factors of Restaurant on the Brand Image, Satisfaction, and Customer Loyalty : Focused on Restaurants in Complex Shopping Mall

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and test a model that explains the effect of experiential marketing factors on: 1) brand image, 2) satisfaction, and 3) loyalty in context of restaurants located in complex shopping mall. In addition, the study clarified how these variables relate to each other. Survey were distributed to customers who have visiting experience(s) in a restaurants in complex shopping mall. Total 360 participants were distributed and 344 questionnaires were used for analysing. The confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling(SEM) have been employed research methods for frequency analysis, reliability analysis and measurement model validation. The findings of this study identified that relation factor of experiential marketing elements was only significant factor on brand image Furthermore, sense and recognition were critical components of customer satisfaction. Last, present study also identified the significant relationship between satisfaction and customer loyalty. These findings may contribute to provide valuable marketing strategic for this business segmentation, and it can be utilized as a fundamental study to establish an efficient business plan to increase revenue especially for restaurant business located in complex shopping mall.
