The purpose of this study is to analyze the formative characteristics of women's costumes among the Regency era's elite in the television drama Bridgerton (2020). Its methodology investigates the socio-cultural background and literature on clothing in the Regency era. It also analyzes the formative elements of Daphne's costumes (of the Bridgerton family) and Penelope's costumes (of the Featherington family) representing the upper class. The study reveals that women's costumes had a tubular silhouette consisting of a low neckline, high waistline, and short puffed sleeves. The series expressed well the Regency-era costumes, which were influenced by Neoclassicism and characterized by silk materials, shawls, gloves, belts, a reticule, and hairstyles. Among the formative elements, the Bridgerton and Featherington families' costumes showed distinct differences in color, materials, patterns, accessories, and hairstyles. Daphne's costumes were intelligent and elegant in pastel-toned blues and had small patterns. She carried small accessories and had a natural curled hairstyle. In contrast, Penelope wore decorative and splendid styles in intense colors and large patterns. Her accessories were large and colorful, and she had a strong curled hairstyle. These costumes express the Bridgerton family as aristocratic and the Petringer family as flashy, thereby distinguishing the two families. These research results will be presented as basic data for producing drama costumes in the 19th century to help complete the drama.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic information to improve competitiveness of Korean fashion brands in the Chinese fashion market by taking photos of street styles in Seoul that is the hub of Korean fashion and in Dalian, the northeastern district where Korean fashion brands are launched as a test market China to compare and analyze the clothing colors preferred mostly by young women in their twenties and thirties who have the highest purchasing power. The study methods used literature review and empirical study simultaneously. Dalian and Seoul are two fashion cities in northeast of China and Korea where street fashion was photographed. Clothing colors that were mainly worn by young women in their twenties and thirties were qualitatively analyzed using the photos taken. Color analysis was based on the Munsell Color Order System to grasp general preferences of colors on the basis of previous researches, and color tones were based on the ISCC-NBS System. In order to grasp the basic materials on Seoul, the Korean fashion city and Dalian, the northeastern fashion city in China, street fashion styles of 2010/11 F/W season were compared and analyzed. As a result, black and deep tone PB color appeared most frequently. The vivid and strong tone of R, YR, Y color showed high frequency of clothing colors. For the top wear, women in both areas preferred similar tones in the YR color category and Dalian women preferred vivider and brighter S tones in the R color category. For the bottom wear, women in both areas highly preferred achromatic colors and colors in the PB color category. For bags, women in both areas preferred black and colors in the YR color category. Finally, for the shoes, while women in both areas preferred black in the achromatic color category, they showed different color preferences in the chromatic color category. R color categories were preferred by the women in Seoul and the YR color categories were preferred by the women in Dalian. Conclusively, women in both cities highly preferred achromatic colors especially black for the top and bottom wear, bags, and shoes. It may reflect their desire to look refined and slender through colors. Moreover, continuous and steady research on fashion trends in Seoul and Dalian may have positive effects on Korean fashion businesses that plan to be launched in China, the area of competition for global brands.

Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the State of Qatar. Due to low participation in breast cancer screening (BCS) activities, women in Qatar are often diagnosed with breast cancer at advanced stages of the disease. Findings indicate that low participation rates in BCS activities are significantly related to women's low level of awareness of breast cancer screening. The objectives of this study were to: (1) determine the factors that influence Qatari women's awareness of breast cancer and its screening activities: and (2) to find ways to effectively promote breast cancer screening activities among Arabic speaking women in Qatar. Materials and Methods: A multicenter, cross-sectional quantitative survey of 1,063 (87.5% response rate) female Qatari citizens and non-Qatari Arabic-speaking residents, 35 years of age or older, was conducted in Qatar from March 2011 to July 2011. Outcome measures included participant awareness levels of the most recent national recommended guidelines of BCS, participation rates in BCS activities, and factors related to awareness of BCS activities. Results: While most participants (90.7%) were aware of breast cancer, less than half had awareness of BCS practices (28.9% were aware of breast self-examination and 41.8% of clinical breast exams, while 26.4% knew that mammography was recommended by national screening guidelines. Only 7.6% had knowledge of all three BCS activities). Regarding BCS practice, less than one-third practiced BCS appropriately (13.9% of participants performed breast self-examination (BSE) monthly, 31.3% had a clinical breast exam (CBE) once a year or once every two years, and 26.9% of women 40 years of age or older had a mammogram once every year or two years). Awareness of BCS was significantly related to BCS practice, education level, and receipt of information about breast cancer and/or BCS from a variety of sources, particularly doctors and the media. Conclusions: The low levels of participation rates in BCS among Arab women in this study indicate a strong need to increase awareness of the importance of breast cancer screening in Qatari women. Without this awareness, compliance with the most recent breast cancer screening recommendations in Qatar will remain low. An increased effort to implement mass media and public health campaigns regarding the impact of breast cancer on women's health and the benefits of early detection of breast cancer must be coupled with an enhanced participation of health care providers in delivering this message to Qatar population.

The shift in public awareness of female image and capability is also being manifested recently by a new fashion style named New Women Power Dressing. Comparing the so-called new power dressing style with the female yuppie fashion of the 80s known to have marked the beginning of female power dressing, this study aims to define the uniqueness of women power dressing style of today, reanalyze the fashion style of today in reference to its predecessors and predict new fashion trend for the futurr. As a conclusion, both of the female yuppie style of the 80s and the new power dressing trend of the 2000s were found to stress manliness and showoff. Such characteristics were expressed in terms of focuses on both fitness and fashion style. However, the female yuppie look of the 80s and its successor of the 2000s showed significant difference in what they were intended to signify internally and how they were displayed externally.

Human serum (HS) has been reported to induce aggregation of human eyelid adipose-derived stem cells (HEACs) during high-density culture in vitro. The present study focused on the role of cell adhesion molecules and gelatinases during HS-induced aggregation of HEACs. HS-induced aggregation occurred between 9-15 days of culture. Cells aggregated by HS medium (HS-agg) showed stronger expression of ${\alpha}2$, ${\alpha}2B$, ${\alpha}X$, and CEACAM1 genes compared to non-aggregated cells in HS medium (HS-ex) or in control FBS-cultured cells. HS-agg were distinctly labeled with antibodies against ${\alpha}2$, ${\alpha}2B$, and ${\alpha}X$ proteins. Western blot results demonstrated that the two integrin proteins were greatly expressed in HS-agg compared to HS-ex and control FBS-cultured cells. Treatment of HEACs with anti-integrin ${\alpha}2$ antibody during culture in HS medium delayed aggregation formation. HS-agg exhibited strong expression of MMP1 and MMP9 compared to HS-ex or FBS-cultured cells. Conditioned media from HS-culture showed remarkable increase of MMP9 gelatinolytic activity in comparison to those from FBS-culture. However, there was no change of TIMP mRNA expression in relation to the HS-induced aggregation. Based on these results, it is suggested that integrin ${\alpha}2$, ${\alpha}2B$, and ${\alpha}X$, and MMP9 might play an important role in the HS-induced aggregation of HEACs.
In postmenopausal women, the incidence of cardiovascular disease(CVD) is common and there is growing evidences that astaxanthin has a strong antioxidant capacity and plays a beneficial role in the prevention of CVD. However, current data are not sufficient to determine the effect of astaxanthin on improving lipid profiles and antioxidant capacity in human. In this study, 15 healthy postmenopausal women were divided into 3 groups and given astaxanthin supplements of 0,2 or 8mg/day for 8 weeks. Blood samples were taken before and after 4 and 8 weeks of astaxanthin supplementation for analysis of serum total choelsterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride, plasma TBARS, total antioxidant status(TAS) and urinary 8-isoprostanes. HDL-cholesterollevels in 2mg and 8mg group increased significantly after 8 weeks from 50.6$\pm$5.8 to 60.4$\pm$7.1mg/dl, 44.4$\pm$10.7 to 49.4$\pm$2.7$mg/dl$ respectively (p<0.05). In the 2mg group, triglyceride decreased significantly from 171.6$\pm$67.4 mg/$dl$ to 145.8$\pm$5.1$mg/dl$ (p<0.05). Plasma TBARS level in the 2mg group decreased from 1.42$\pm$0.18nM/mg to 1.13$\pm$0.18nM/mg after 8 weeks (p<0.05). In the 8mg group, TBARS level decreased significantly from 1.62$\pm$0.14nM/mg to 1.13$\pm$0.12nM/mg after 8 weeks (p<0.05). TAS, as an indicator of lipid peroxidation, increased significantly from 0.85$\pm$0.42mM/$l$ to 1.90$\pm$0.58mM$l$ after 8 weeks in the 8mg group (p<0.05). Urinary 8-isoprostanes excretion did not decrease significantly with astaxanthin supplementation. In conclusion, it would be helpful for postmenopausal women with common cardiovascular disease to supplement with astaxanthin as an antioxidant.
This descriptive study was intended to investigate the influence of spouse support, sexual autonomy, and sexual satisfaction on self-efficacy in married immigrant women in South Korea. Data was collected from 171 married immigrant women from Jan to Mar 2019. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. As a result of analysis, spouse support 3.64±0.86, sexual autonomy 3.44±0.93, sexual satisfaction 3.14 ±0.90, self-efficacy 3.06±0.64 and there was a high positive correlation among all variables(p<.01). Sex-related variables, sexual autonomy and sexual satisfaction, were identified as strong predictors for self-efficacy, and their explanation power was 26.9%. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to develop a variety programs to enhance the self-efficacy of married immigrant women and to seek practical approaches to that effect.
The purposes of this study were to classify the university women according to their life styles and to analyze the cosmetic consumption behavior of classified groups. The results of this study may suggest cosmetics production and sales plan to manufactures and distributers and to provide cosmetic consumption guides for the university women. For empirical study a questionnaire developed by researchers was distributed to 456 of university women in Chonbuk province from Aug. 26 to Sep. 17 1998. Frequencies and percentages were claculated. And factor analysis cluster analysis and $\chi$2-test were used. The results were as follows: 1. University women were clustered into 5 types of sound and self pursuit type realistic and fashion pursuit type external and liberal type delightful and enjoying type and passive and stagnate type according to their life styles. 2. Sound and self pursuit type was characterized by the faithfulness to school and home life and economical lining. They got cosmetics information through direct experiences by use of samples put on full make-ups to protect their skin and selected refill cosmetic products to save money. 3. Realistic and fashion pursuit type were sensitive to fashion and had a strong desire for material achievement. They put on full make-ups exchange unsatisfactory cosmetics at the store where they bought and had a lot of imported cosmetics experiences. 4. External and liberal type showed little concern with saving and had progressive thinking. They bought cosmetics at the department store got informations from market-oriented information sources. perferred shopping at department stores considerred price most important when selecting cosmetics exchanged unsatisfactory cosmetics at the store they bought when they were not satisfied with the flavor or skin troule. 5. Delightful and enjoying type showed the least faithfulness to their home and school life. They put on partial make-ups for the correction of facial defects or etiquette. 6. Passive and stagnate type enjoyed home life but were passive in real life and open-mindness They got cosmetics information from marketer-oriented information sources bought cosmetics at discount stores considered price most important when selecting cosmetics put on basic or at least mke-ups to protect their skin had the least experience in the imported cosmetics and refill products.
Purpose: This study was to develop and evaluate the clinical utility of the breast and ovarian cancer genetic counselling program specific for 20 Korean women(KBOCGP). Methods: The KBOCGP was developed using three types of approaches: an ethnography among Korean women who underwent BRCA1/2 test, designing and implementing one week clinical genetic educational course for clinical cancer nurses, educational observation visits to three American cancer genetic counselling programs. And then pre-experimental design was implicated to evaluate the change of the women's knowledge about the hereditary breast and ovarian cancer and the level of the satisfaction with genetic counselling. Results: The mean score of the knowledge has significantly increased from $7.45{\pm}3.86$ to $11.55{\pm}2.21$ (t = 5.63, p < .001). The level of the satisfaction with the counselling was very high ($27.47{\pm}1.35$). Because most of the subjects have young kids, they showed strong concerns about their kids' getting cancer. Conclusion: This new KBOCGP is the satisfactory program for the education and communication of the genetic information to the Korean women with HBOC. But it is needed more to strengthen the cultural sensitivity especially to Korean family relationships. Authors recommend that this program be provided by other nurses who are counselling women at high risk of breast cancer.
We investigated the distribution of HPV genotypes in Uyghur women in Xinjiang region of China, and behavioral factors which could predispose them to HPV infection. In this cross-sectional study, women aged 15-59 years were recruited by cluster sampling method in Yutian region in 2009. Liquid-based cytology samples were analyzed centrally for HPV genotype with a linear array detector. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to identify behavioral risk factors for HPV infection. A total of 883 Uyghur women were recruited successfully. The prevalence of high-risk HPV and low-risk HPV were 7.25% and 1.58%, respectively; the most common HPVs were HPV16, 51, 31, 39 and 58. We found that age of first sexual intercourse was a strong predictor for HPV infection (odds ratio of 4.01 for ${\leq}15$ years versus ${\geq}25$). Having sexual partners ${\geq}3$ was the second predictor (OR 3.69, 95% CI 2.24-7.16). Cleaning the vagina after sex showed an increased risk of HPV infection (OR 2.72; 95% CI 1.98-5.13); Using the condom showed protective factors for HPV infection (OR 0.36; 95%CI0.12-0.53). HPV16, 51, 31, 39 and 58 were the priority types; the age of first sexual intercourse was identified as a major risk factor for HPV infection. Other notable risks were number of sexual partners and cleaning the vagina after sex. Changing these behavioral risk factors could help to reduce the occurrence of cervical cancer in this population.
