Zn-Pr-Co-Cr-Y 산화물계 바리스터의 써지 스트레스에 대한 전기적 안정성에 소결시간의 영향 (Effect of Sintering lime on Electrical Stability against Surge Stress of Zn-Pr-Co-Cr-Y Oxide-based Varistors)

  • The electrical stability against surge stress of varistors, which are composed of Zn-Pr-Co-Cr-Y oxide system, were investigated at different sintering times. As sintering time increases, the varistor voltage and nonlinear exponent decreased in the range of $279.6\~179.1$ and $52.5\~24.9$, respectively. On the contrary, the leakage current and dielectric dissipation factor increased in the range of $1.2\~9.8\;{\mu}A$ and 0.0461\~0.0651 with increase of sintering time. For all varistors, the variation rates of V-I characteristic parameters against surge stress were more strongly affected in order of varistor voltage ${\rightarrow}nonlnear$ $exponent{\rightarrow}leakage$ current. On the whole, the electrical stability against surge stress increased with increasing sintering time. Conclusively, it is assumed that the varistors sintered for 2 h exhibited comparatively good characteristics, in view of overall characteristics.

  • DC accelerated aging characteristics of $Pr_{6}O_{11}$-based ZnO varistors, which are composed of $ZnO+Pr_{6}O_{11}+CoO+Cr_{2}O_{3}+Dy_{2}O_{3}$ ceramics were investigated with CoO content in the range of 0.5 - 5.0 mol%. The varistors doped with 1.0 mol% revealing maximum value(66.61) in the nonlinear exponent exhibited excellent stability, in which the variation rates of the varistor voltage, the nonlinear exponent and leakage current are -1.93%, -10.48%, and +288.79%, respectively, under DC accelerated aging stress, such as $(0.85V_{lmA}/115^{\circ}C/24h)+(0.90V_{lmA}120^{\circ}C/24h)+(0.95V_{lmA}/125^{\circ}C/24h)+(0.95V_{lmA}/150^{\circ}C/24h)$. Next the varistors doped with 2.0 mol% exhibiting the nonlinear exponent of 47.39 showed high stability.

  • 피로균열성장을 유한요소 시뮬레이션하였다. 인장시험으로 얻는 기계적 성질만을 사용하여 피로균열성장거동을 예측하려고 하였다. 유한요소해석 결과 균열선단 부근 절점의 변위의 변화를 살펴 임계균열개구변위를 결정하였다. 균열선단 절점을 분리하여 균열성장을 시뮬레이션하였다. Paris 법칙의 지수를 결정하여 이미 발표된 값과 비교하였다. 균열닫힘을 고려한 유효 응력확대계수에 관하여 그렸을 때 더 일관성이 있는 결과를 얻었다.

오스테나이트계 25Cr-20Ni 스테인리스강의 Ω법을 이용한 고온 크리프 거동 해석 (Creep Behavior Analysis of 25Cr-20Ni Stainless Steels by Omega Method)

  • For two kinds of 25Cr-20Ni stainless steels, STS310J1TB and STS310S with and without a small amount of Nb and N, creep behavior has been studied in a stress and temperature range from 147 to 392 MPa and from 923 to 773 K with a special reference to tertiary creep. The average creep life of STS310J1TB was about 100 times longer than that of the STS310S. The apparent activation energy for the initial creep rate was 330 kJ/mol in STS310J1TB, while that of the STS310S was 274kJ/mol in a power law creep region and 478 kJ/mol in a region of power law breakdown (PLB). The activation energy for STS310S below PLB is close to the for self-diffusion. When compensating for the temperature dependence of the Young's modulus and the omega value, it was found that the apparent activation energy for STS310J1TB was reduced to the activation energy for diffusion of chromium atom in gamma steel. The stress exponent of STS310S was about 12.3 above PLB and 5.1 in a power law creep region. Notwithstanding that the creep condition for STS310J1TB was in a power law creep region, its stress exponent was 7.9 larger than that of STS310S corresponding to the same creep conditions. This was ascribed to the presence of fine precipitates in STS310J1TB.

  • The effects of duplex-treatment of plasma carburization and CrN coating onto Ti-6Al-4V alloy on its creep properties were investigated by means of a constant stress creep tester. Applying duplex-treatment, specimens having an inner carburized layer of about $150{\mu}m$ in depth and outer CrN layer of about $7.5{\mu}m$ in thickness were prepared. The hardness of duplex-treatment surface was about 1,960 VHN. It also appeared that the duplex-treatment improved the roughness of the surface significantly; $Ra=0.045{\mu}m$ for treated alloy while $Ra=0.321{\mu}m$ for untreated alloy. The steady-state creep behaviors were investigated in a temperature range of $510{\sim}550^{\circ}C$ ($0.42{\sim}0.44T_m$) under an applied stress range of 200~275 MPa. The stress exponent, n, was derived assuming the power law creep behavior. The surface treatment showed a decrease in a value from 9.32 (untreated) to 8.79 (treated). Also the activation energy obtained from an Arrhenius plot increased from 238 to 257 kJ/mol.

사형주조한 Mg-Nd-Zr-Zn합금의 고온 크리이프강도 (High Temperature Creep Strength of Mg-Nd-Zr-Zn Alloy in Sand Castings)

  • Magnesium alloys have been focussed for the applications for lightweight of vehicle and electronics due to their high strength, low specific density and good damping capacity. This paper deals with the creep strength of Mg-Nd-Zr-Zn alloy. For the alloy, pure magnesium(99.9%) was melt with atmosphere of $0.3%SF_6$ and $25%CO_2$. After melting, 0.3% of zinc was inserted to stir for 10min at elevated temperature of $770^{\circ}C$. Master alloys of Mg-15%Nd and Mg-15%Zr were stirred in furnace. The creep tests were performed to obtain creep rate and rupture in the temperature range of 200 to $220^{\circ}C$ and 280 to $310^{\circ}C$ at an applied stress of 156 to 172MPa and 78 to 94MPa, respectively. The deformation mechanism was predicted dislocation climb from measured apparent activation energy and stress exponent. Also the increaser the temperature and stress the lower the stress exponent and activation energy. Finally, LMP parameter gives good information for the predicted creep rupture life.

  • This paper reports the variations of varistor voltage, nonlinear exponent, leakage current, and dissipation factor against surge stress of ZnO-P $r_{6}$ $O_{11}$-CoO-C $r_2$ $O_3$-E $r_2$ $O_3$(ZPCCE)-based varistors manufactured with the variations of sintering temperature. It was found that the variations of electrical parameters against surge stressing current of 100 A/$\textrm{cm}^2$(8x20 ${\mu}\textrm{s}$) is not so large under the surge stress of 700 times. Among varistors, specially the varistor sintered at 134$0^{\circ}C$ exhibited the smallest variations, with %$\Delta$ $V_{lmA}$=+0.23%, %$\Delta$$\alpha$=+0.23%, %$\Delta$ $I_{L}$=0%, %$\Delta$tan$\delta$=-6.94%. The clamping voltage ratio( $V_{c}$/ $V_{lmA}$) of all varistors was less than 2.2.2.2.2.2.2.

  • 본 연구에서는 가공경화지수 (n)가 서로 다른 몇가지 재료를 선택하고 과대하 중의 비 (%PL)를 달리하는 단일 과대하중 피로 시험을 행하여 재료의 가공경화지수가 피로 균열 진파의 지연거동에 미치는 영향과 아울러 균열닫힘현상과의 관계를 구명하였다.
