  • In the soft recoil system, the recoiling parts are initially accelerated to the forward direction. These parts are returned to original position by the firing with intial acceleration speed. The latch of the soft recoil system keeps the high impact load when the recoil parts were recuperated to the forward direction. In this study, the latch of soft recoil system using the ADAMS program was analyzed. The optimal operation parameters were found that max. angle and expansion length of latch was $50^{\circ}$, 180 mm respectively. Dynamic structural analyses of model cases were performed using finite element model. The max. stress and deflection of latch was 230 MPa and 0.45 mm respectively.

  • To make the rationale design of interface between cell and artificial surface, many studies have been controlled influencing cue which can typically be divided into two central categories: chemical cues based on modification surface chemical properties containing attractive/repulsive molecules, and physical cues that may include applied tension/stress, electrical polarization, magnetic field, and topography. Recently, researches have been focused on physical cue, especially topography. The surface topography may influence cellular responses for example, cell adhesion, cell morphology and gene expression. However, there were few systematic studies about these nanotopographical effects on neuronal developments in a feature size-dependent manner. Herein, we report a nanoscale-resolved study of nanotopographical effects on cellular adhesion and growth. In this study, we use substrates with packed glass beads by rubbing method for generating highly periodic nanotopographies with various sizes. We found that acceleration of neuritogenesis appeared only on the beads larger than 200 nm in diameter, and observed that filopodial thickness was comparable with this scale. This study is expected to be essential to elucidate the nanotopographical effect on cellular adhesion and growth.

  • (BaSr)$TiO_3$ (BST) thick films were prepared by tape casting method, using $BaTiO_3$ and $SrTiO_3$ powder slurry and their dielectric properties were investigated. With an additive, $Li_2CO_3$, the sintering temperature was lowered by $200^{\circ}C$. Sintering density was 5.7 g/$cm^3$ and the BST thick films exhibited a maximum dielectric constant, tunability at temperatures near phase transition point. Whilst their characteristics were deteriorated above the phase transition temperature, they were unchanged below the phase transition temperature, which is presumedly due to the acceleration of $90^{\circ}$ domain formation, its contribution to the relaxation of internal stress and the increase in sintering according to the replacement of Li.

  • Spin coater is regarded as a major module rotating at high speed to be used build up polymer resin thin film layer fur bonding process of GaAs wafer. This module is consisted of spin unit for spreading uniformly, align device, resin spreading nozzle and et. al. Specially, spin unit which is a component of module can cause to vibrate and finally affect to the uniformity of polymer resin film layer. For the stability prediction of rotation velocity and uniformity of polymer resin film layer, it is very important to understand the dynamic characteristics of assembled spin coater module and the dynamic response mode resulted from rotation behavior of spin chuck. In this paper, stress concentration mode and the deformed shape of spin chuck generated due to angular acceleration process are presented using analytical method for evaluation of structural safety according to the revolution speed variation of spin unit. And also, deformation form of GaAs wafer due to dynamic behavior of spin chuck is presented fur the comparison of former simulated results.

  • In the country with frequent earthquakes like Japan, resistance to earthquake is assessed on the basis that Dam body's Face slab is destroyed by concentrated stress. In our country this kind of modeling and analysis is not yet definitely established. This paper performed pseudo static analysis and dynamic analysis for CFRD and evaluated reliability with the results of Shaking Table Test. The Seismic coefficient method, modified seismic coefficient method, Newmark method of Pseudo-static analysis and frequency domain response analysis, time domain history analysis of dinamic analysis were used. The analysis results were differ between analysis method, but the trends of acceleration and displacement were good agreement with the results of shaking table test.

  • Recently, the design process for a railway bogie frame in Europe has been carried out according to the norm EN 13749. The activities in the norm EN shall demonstrate that the design of the bogie frame fulfills the acceptances of 4 steps of the program such as structural calculation, static tests, fatigue test and on-tracks tests. At the end of the acceptance program, the on-tracks tests have the aim to measure the real stress history generated in operation and to verify that they are reasonably next to those calculated and measured on the test rig. Therefore, in order to assure the safety of the railway vehicle, it is important to examined the durability of that under load histories measured from on-tracks tests. In this study, under variable amplitude loading based on the actual acceleration history, fatigue analysis of the welding bogie frame is investigated by using durability software. Moreover, the fatigue life of the frame under the loading in the norm EN fatigue test condition is evaluated and compared with the life under variable amplitude loading.

  • It is of great importance to assure the running safety and ride comfort in designing the floating slab track for the mitigation of train-induced vibration. In this paper, for this, analyzed are the system requirements for the running safety and ride comfort, and then, the behavior of train and track at the transition zone between the floating slab track and the conventional concrete slab track according to several main design variables such as spring constant, damping coefficient, spacing and arrangement of isolators and slab length, using the dynamic analysis technique considering the train-track interaction. The results of numerical analysis demonstrate that the discontinuity of the support stiffness at the transition results in a drastic increase of the vertical vibration acceleration of the train body, wheel-rail interaction force, rail bending stress and uplift force. The increase becomes higher with the decrease of the spring constant of isolators and the increase of the isolator spacing, but the damping ratio does not significantly affect the behavior of train and track at the transition. Therefore, to assure the running safety and ride comfort, simultaneously increasing the effectiveness of vibration isolation, it is effective to minimize the relative vertical offset between the floating slab and the conventional track slab by adjusting the spring constant and spacing of isolators at the transition.

  • The frequency of reactor coolant leakage is expected to increase over the lifetime of a nuclear power plant owing to degradation mechanisms, such as flow-acceleration corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. When loss of coolant accidents (LOCAs) occur, several parameters change rapidly depending on the size and location of the cracks. In this study, leak flow during LOCAs is predicted using a deep fuzzy neural network (DFNN) model. The DFNN model is based on fuzzy neural network (FNN) modules and has a structure where the FNN modules are sequentially connected. Because the DFNN model is based on the FNN modules, the performance factors are the number of FNN modules and the parameters of the FNN module. These parameters are determined by a least-squares method combined with a genetic algorithm; the number of FNN modules is determined automatically by cross checking a fitness function using the verification dataset output to prevent an overfitting problem. To acquire the data of LOCAs, an optimized power reactor-1000 was simulated using a modular accident analysis program code. The predicted results of the DFNN model are found to be superior to those predicted in previous works. The leak flow prediction results obtained in this study will be useful to check the core integrity in nuclear power plant during LOCAs. This information is also expected to reduce the workload of the operators.

  • In this paper, a dynamic response mapping model of the wheel-rail system is established by using the support vector regression (SVR) method, and the hierarchical safety thresholds of the subgrade void are proposed based on the reliability theory. Firstly, the vehicle-track coupling dynamic model considering the subgrade void is constructed. Secondly, the subgrade void area, the subgrade compaction index K30 and the fastener stiffness are selected as random variables, and the mapping model between these three random parameters and the dynamic response of the wheel-rail system is built by using the orthogonal test and the SVR. The sensitivity analysis is carried out by the range analysis method. Finally, the hierarchical safety thresholds for the subgrade void are proposed. The results show that the subgrade void has the most significant influence on the carbody vertical acceleration, the rail vertical displacement, the vertical displacement and the slab tensile stress. From the range analysis, the subgrade void area has the largest effect on the dynamic response of the wheel-rail system, followed by the fastener stiffness and the subgrade compaction index K30. The recommended safety thresholds for the subgrade void of level I, II and III are 4.01㎡, 6.81㎡ and 9.79㎡, respectively.
